The Normal Day

Ch. 1Lana

There are moments when I find myself wondering what will take place after my passing... It's all rejected words that they don't want to hear from my lovely mouth, but I can't say that I enjoy the experience at all. There are times when I question whether or not I am a sufficient companion and friend.

My name is Lana Brown, and I am currently a freshman at Hanvixus University of America. I will be 20 years old next year. Mathematics was the subject I struggled the most with in school, despite the fact that I was strong at it and one of the top student. I really have no idea. It is difficult to admit that I am not perfect, but I was born to behave in that manner.

However, I am such an obstinate person that I just wanted to lie down in my bed during the day.

"Hey, I really like the new artwork you did!" Kiki gave me a shoulder pat and hissed at me behind my back, which caused me to stop what I was doing and giggle at her while I was gazing at her.

"You can't possibly expect me to believe that. You suggested that I continue to pursue my first concept; but, I had a strong conviction that I should pursue my second idea instead." I laughed while making a snorting sound.

"You should know by now that I always lie to you, and the reason I do so is because I find it humorous to do so. There is no other day on which I will lie. Haha! Even now, I find it hard to believe— Wait, is that Steve?" it was clear that she was changing the subject when she looked far away while pointing at him.

I was unable to move. My boyfriend shouldn't have to look at her like that. Her eyes should be removed. It's true, but because we keep a low profile, she had no idea that he had feelings for me. I reached out and lightly stroked her palm before gently pushing her away.

"I am sorry, Kiki. I have to get going—"

"Steve, it was the case! He has a lot of fans . . . I am confident that I can acquire him in a short amount of time. I'm sure you're aware that I noticed you had quite the crush on him!"

"Shut up. He is completely unknown to me!" I wailed as I sprinted away from the scene while holding a book to my head. I ran straight into the university without turning around because I was so aggravated.

"Kids nowadays . . ." I muttered as I hastily went straight to the library and put the book back, and I could hear footsteps behind my back, and at first I thought it was Steve, but when I turned around, I saw that it was Driffieth.

She has more friends than any other student in the history of this university. a wealthy individual who is also kind. She's not a betrayer like some other well-known woman I could call Rachel, but she's her own person and not like other Rachel. She had a very stunning appearance.

She has light brown hair.

"Hey, Lana!" she greeted me with a gentle smile, and I did the same thing, despite the fact that I am somewhat reserved and that I have a hard time striking up a conversation with an outgoing student like her.

As she did so, she moved closer to me.

She looked like she was channeling the decade of the 2000s, and she slayed every outfit like she does every time. Everything that I find unattractive—looks wonderful on her. Her blue eyes were really attractive, and her lips could easily be kissed.

"Are you okay?" she asked me while laughing—This brought me back to the present moment, and I joined her in laughing at the absurdity of the situation.

"Certainly, it was! You have a very attractive appearance today." I give her a response and a complement at the same time, which made her to smile broadly across her cheeks, and I can hear her giggling quietly.

"You are aware that... I saw your painting. I love it. I have high hopes that you will prevail over the other universities in England in this head-to-head fight. You definitely have a lot of untapped potential in you. I can tell." she spoke in a low whisper with her gentle voice that made me smile truly.

I was powerless to assist, they were correct in their assessment that she wasn't a bitch in any way, despite the fact that I thought it was inappropriate to treat her as though she were one.

"Oh! That sums it up nicely. You are so kind and helpful, Driffieth! It is something that comes out of your mouth. I am happy to hear that you adore it because it is difficult to—"

"No. I am Driffieth. I am not what you are imagining me to be. It is difficult for me to make friends with girls because they believe that I am plastic, despite the fact that this is not the case. In any case, it is my birthday tomorrow. I would want to invite you—" she was interrupted when my phone started to make a noise.

As soon as I opened my phone and noticed Steve's text message telling me to meet him on his car outside even though it wasn't yet the appropriate hour, I made a gesture to her to give me a few moments of her time. I let out a chuckle and gaze at Driffieth, who appears to be rather interested.

"Therefore, I'd like to extend an invitation to you for tomorrow at seven o'clock in the afternoon—at our residence, I've included my contact information and an invitation card with you in case my security guard decides not to let you in because you're exclusive. Here is the number." Driffieth stated while smiling and attempting to reach me with the paper, and I smiled and sighed as I took the paper in my hands.

"Driffieth... Thank you," I murmured under my breath, and she smiled when I walked away, hastily leaving the University because I only had a short amount of time to meet him.

In my opinion, he is one of the most significant men in the entire planet—without him, I am nothing at all. I have fallen head over heels for him.

While walking, I rolled my eyes to show how angry I was by the lads who were staring at me and trying to yank my red ponytail hair.

I spotted his car parked outside the gate, I began to rush too quickly—when I dashed inside his automobile, no one was looking because they all had their treatments, such as practicing their course, at the same time that I had finished mine and before I entered his vehicle.

When he began to passionately kiss my lips, he swiftly grabbed my shoulder and stopped himself in mid-motion. I closed my eyes and we did really give the kiss our whole attention before gently pulling apart and laughing at the awkward moment when we were staring at each other.

"Lana, I have missed you so very much," He sniffled and wrapped his arms around me once again. I hugged him back and giggle.

"We were just hanging out together last night, and you're telling me that you miss me...?" I said, and then we broke apart from our embrace, and he kissed my cheeks multiple times.

"However, this marks our third month together as a couple."

"Yes, are you under the impression that I will forget it!?" I immediately respond without any hesitation and start laughing along with him, at which point he starts biting the lower part of his lips.

"What do you have in store for me as a gift? I do have mine." I responded by nodding my head in response to his questions, which he asked in a low voice while gazing into my eyes without appearing to be fatigued at all times.

"This is a painting that I did just for you..." I let out a moan as I opened my bag, and he was already chuckling to himself. I am aware that he adores my painting, and he has been waiting for me to complete it for him, but he has not disclosed this to me.

The fact that I just had a book and a pen in my bag was the thing that surprised me the most.

"It can no longer be found... It was right in this spot before! Believe me when I say that this is not—"

"Have you maybe misplaced it?"

I tried to leave, but he grabbed my hand and cut me off with his deep voice, he lost the smile that was on his face, and I looked at him with confusion.

He questioned, "Which way are you going?"

"It is essential that I find it—we start dating at the very first day, I decided to paint that. I won't let it lose." I reply.

"Are you sure you didn't left it?" He reassured me while maintaining an anxious expression, and I nodded my head as I opened the car door, but I didn't allow him come with me; instead, I started walking quickly.

But it took me by surprise to discover that the majority of the students are women, with Rachel and Kiki situated in the center of the group, when I first walked through the gate, everyone was staring at me, and although I was puzzled about it, I managed to keep my smile on even as Rachel pushed me away from Kiki so that I could get closer to her.

"What's the matter?" I start to shake and look at Kiki, who is laughing to herself.

"You're having a passionate encounter with Steve... I couldn't believe it when you told me that you'd been seeing each other for a few months already! Do not make any attempt to refute it, Lana, because we were able to see you and even purchase one of your paintings!" Rachel shrieked as she showed the artwork that I had created to her friends.

Which one of Steve's faces is I created, It was supposed to be a gift from me to him, but she took it without my permission. When they started throwing a bunch of oil paints on it, that's when they started laughing. A millions. I felt like I got stabbed. They throw it away while laughing as they do it, and they even throw away the painting I produced specifically for the competition. I haven't kept track of the amount of time I've spent painting that.

I cannot move. I couldn't help but sob. One of them is named Kiki. My best pal. The boys started talking among themselves and saying that they don't stand a chance with me anymore. They started whispering shits about me.

"What makes you think that—"

"Since he was already mine—"

"Rachel, no one is yours to own." she was interrupted by a low voice. It was obviously Steve who had just walked in, and she gave him the look of death while shaking her head as hard as she could for as long as she could.

"But, already within our household, we've discussed —"

"Rachel, you have no right to force me to do anything against my will. You scumbags should be ashamed of themselves." It was his reprimand that got everyone else in the room laughing, and Steve came over to shake my hand.

Due to my anxiety, I had the impression that he might not come up. The nature of our relationship used to be confidential, but it appears that he is now disclosing it.

"I am not nasty like you are saying! Because we've already dealt with the finances, and I mistakenly believed that you agreed with me, I had every right to be angry. Please do not embarrass me in front of their eyes in front of others!"

"Rachel, I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no idea. You will never reach that point. I will never agree with you because you are the one woman who brought light into my life when I was in the depths of darkness." He did so in a whisper.

While I was looking at him, their eyes began to widen, and I found myself starting to tear up. It appeared as like he wasn't going to let go of my hand because of how tightly he was gripping it, and then I saw him take something out of his pocket and it was a box.

"Well, what the heck is this, huh!?" Rachel demanded while glancing about, but it appeared that no one was listening to her anymore because Steve had already cleared things up, and he was only staring at me and wasn't listening to anyone else in the room.

"I want to marry you, Lana. You are going to take this." He whimpered, and then very carefully removed the silver ring from the fourth finger of my left hand.

They started making noise, and nobody cared that Rachel was screaming and tossing everything she could, which ruined everything. I bowed my head as I agreed with him.

"You're everything I could ever want and more." I mumbled something under my breath as he began to kiss not just my cheeks but also my lips.

They were keeping a look out. They are shouting in an upbeat manner, and Rachel leaves the room.

I noticed Driffieth looking out the window of another story with a strange expression on her face, yet she still managed to smile at me.
