Prologue:

“we…are…lost."
Micky declared in a staccato.
The path ahead disappeared into the dense forest just to increase the uncanny discomfort in everybody's mind.
"We have hardly enough petrol to go approximately a half kilometre."
Peter said.
"And the sun is about to SET."
Cody put the pressure on 'SET'."I am scared."
Nina pouted.

A faint light was coming from the dilapidated house.
"There must be someone. We can get some help from there."
Alisha sounded hopeful.
"But we all should stick together for our safety."
Alex became a little sceptic.
"Let's go. I can't bear this hunger anymore."
Maya became restless.
"And what if there is some ghost inside? I don't want to die so early and definitely not want to be killed by a spook."
Natalia whined.
"Shut up Nuts. In fact, the ghost will be scared to meet you."
Cody mumbled.
"Chuck it guys, let's go and see what is inside."
Billy suggested.

Nina dug her fingers into Micky's thick hair and pulled them little to relinquish Micky's intense pressure on her lips.
Micky, on the contrary, didn't pay any heed; instead inserted his left hand inside Nina's tee-shirt and pinched her waist. Nina gasped in shock, just to give a chance to Micky to enter his restless tongue inside her warm mouth. 'CLICK'- the sound forced Nina to open her eyes to see the most horrifying sight.

Nina rolled herself on the floor and tried to reach the knife laid on the ground. Suddenly the wooden door opened in a thud. The person named Maddy entered inside with a plate. He placed the plate on the ground, untied Nina's hands and made her sit forcefully.
"Stop trying to run away from here. You can't. Have this and sleep peacefully. Who knows, what will you get tomorrow......."
Maddy said with a sly grin.

Characters and Context

The FANATIC 5:

‘Fanatic 5' or 'FAN 5' as they are dearly called is a rock band having 5 members. Micky, Cody, Peter, Maya and Alisha. All study in ‘S.P.A.C.E’ (Institute of Science, psychology, Arts and Commerce Education) but in different streams. All are childhood chums and have a common interest-'Music'. They make their own songs, create albums and are quite acclaimed among youth. However, they are famous or should be called infamous in another way too; as they are notorious, ruffian and menacing towards those who unnecessarily involve themselves in a tiff with them.

Micky:

A 19 yrs old rich, spoilt, arrogant, aggressive and hot-headed boy. Anger is the most obnoxious trait of his character and nobody wants to face that. Lead singer and the left-handed guitarist. He is a great swimmer too and swimming is his second passion apart from music. This tall, muscular, dapper hunk is every girl's dirty dream but his heart only beats for his love 'Nina'.

Cody:

A 20 yrs old most jocular yet notorious boy. Percussionist of their band. Big time foodie and loves to do experiments with his food. Master of playing pranks and hoaxes. Even he fell for Natalia when he pulled a prank on her and the rest is history.

Peter:

The most matured, balanced and reticent member of the band. Sometimes becomes a big question for their friends that does he really belong to The FAN 5? Right-handed guitarist and a great performer. 19 yrs old. His girlfriend Alisha teasingly calls him 'Saint Peter’.

Maya:

Electric guitarist of the band. A total hoyden. 19 yrs old. Loves to wear leather outfits and changes her hair colour every now and then. One more thing she loves,that is her boyfriend Billy who is quite opposite to her.

Alisha:

A shopaholic fashionista. Her days start with makeup and end with shopping. Rich, spoilt princess of her parents and totally oblivious to the world's poverty. An 18yrs old pianist of their band. Madly in love with Peter, who sometimes lovingly calls her 'Lish'.

Fusion 4:

A fusion band that has its 4 members, Nina, Natalia, Alex and Billy. Actually, they created this band to teach FAN 5 a lesson and bring their arrogance down when initially they were their arch-rivals and enemies. They mostly create Indo- western fusion music and are highly popular among music lovers. Gradually, both the band members became good friends and now some of them are deeply in love with each other. However, in the Music field, they are still healthy competitors.

Nina:

A 17 yrs traditional girl. One of the lead singers and a sitar player of their band. A dainty, delicate and demure girl. Totally opposite of Micky by nature but deeply in love with him. She is the only person who can calm his uncontrollable anger down. Loves to wear ethnic outfits and listen to romantic songs. Her black doe eyes and long jet black hair is the weakness of Micky.

Natalia aka Lia:

The drama queen and a religious person. Folk and classical singer. 18yrs old chatterbox. Highly believes in ghosts and spirits. Her relationship with her boyfriend Cody is like Tom & Jerry where Cody teasingly calls her 'Nuts', she calls him 'Cod fish’.

Alex:

The one and only single but ready to mingle boy of this friends gang. Plays drums and tabla. Attractive and smart but easily falls for beauty and hot chicks. 20 yrs old, rich and charming. Founder of Fusion 4. Once Micky's arch-enemy now counts him as one of his best friends.

Billy:

A 20 yrs old handsome hunk. Plays electric guitar and synthesizers. Witty and a fun-loving guy. Cousin of Nina from a distant relation but loves her as his own sister. In a strong relationship with Maya and loves her a lot. Sometimes he pacifies her craziness with his sweet nature. A good soccer player and a gallivanter.

One more thing that is common in them is their adventurous nature. But it is truly said, "There is a very thin line between being curious and adventurous. Sometimes too much curiosity can spoil the fun of an adventure." If they knew it.
