Ch. 1Chapter 1

"Sir, please", said Anvesha pouting her glossy pink lips which were looking just like fresh rose petals. Her innocent request and alluring voice was enough for everyone to fulfill her wish but the renowned and a little bit arrogant celebrity chef, Mr. Adhyayan Joshi remained unfazed.
With hands in the pockets of his trousers, Adhyayan looked at her amusing expressions, squinting his eyes. Raising his eyebrows, he said, "Not happening at all".
Standing in his posh restaurant 'Love=Food' situated at Connaught Place, in the heart of Delhi; Anvesha took a deep breath trying to calm down her irritation, as she said as politely as she could, "Sir, Khanna uncle said you never deny him. Please permit for the vlog, at least for him."
Adhyayan huffed looking at her cute button-like nose which was red in anger, as he said in a professional monotone, "Madam, Khanna uncle asked me to meet a little girl which I did just now." He controlled himself from burst out laughing looking at her bewildered expressions, as he continued, "Trust me, he did not ask me to agree to this illicit demand of yours so I am not giving you the permission to make a vlog here."
"Sir, this little girl who is standing before you is the host of 'The Real Heroes' at 100TV channel and my demand is not illicit at all", Anvesha bombarded angrily as her cheeks flustered with anger. Realizing the need to stay calm, she flattered him, "Sir, I know you are the amongst the best celebrity chefs in India. It is my dream to start a restaurant vlog channel at YouTube, I want to begin it with your restaurant. Please, sir." Looking at the arrogant chef standing in front of her, she pleaded, "I am sure people will shower love to my vlog as they love watching my talk show. Please, sir. I promise to bring good reviews and build up your customer base."
Though somewhere in her mind Anvesha wanted to pull hair of Mr. Haughty Shoes, the arrogant celebrity chef, Adhyayan Joshi; tie him on one of the chairs of his restaurant and post a video of his miserable state, she chose to stay calm. Since last thirty minutes, she was trying to get his permission to shoot a video of his restaurant for her restaurant vlog and he was constantly denying her.
Her friend Nikhil's father, Ramesh Khanna had not only suggested her to meet Adhyayan Joshi and begin her vlog with the first video from 'Love=Food' but also asked Adhyayan to meet her. According to Khanna uncle, Adhyayan never said 'no' to him regarding anything so she had come confidently for the meeting but little did she know, the arrogant chef was simply not paying any heed to her. Being a reputed journalist, she knew the celebrity chef had popularity to get good viewership to her YouTube channel and hence, she was adamant to try one last time.
Adhyayan, on the other hand, was genuinely impressed by the way she controlled her anger and tried to convince him. He found the gleam of desire in her eyes. He knew his restaurant did not need any publicity. Being a celebrity chef, he knew people flocked at his eatery like swarm of bees. He was well-aware of the fact that it was indeed difficult for him and his team to manage during the peak hours of the day and especially during festive season or holidays. He admired ambitious nature and he remembered his share of struggles, the struggles he overcame to reach at the peak of his career by twenty seven years of age. He observed that the zealous young girl standing before her wanted to achieve big in her life.
Enjoying their banter, he said, "Why you want to start the vlog by the way? Ask your channel to organize a food and travel show for you? It will be free too."
Anvesha was beyond angry at the comment. She wondered the typical man before her was judging her to be a girl who enjoy freebies but she wasn't one of them. She was an intern when she gave the idea of her talk show and she had no followers on her twitter handle when her first episode went off air. However, the show was a hit and she gained a thousand of followers till the next episode that was rolled off the next week. Her show eventually gained popularity and now it was scheduled every alternate day.
Adhyayan had expected her to get annoyed instead she calmly explained, "Sir, I want to start my channel because I am a big foodie. I want to connect to the people and help them make the best choice when they want to enjoy their time with their loved ones and delicious meals. Social media is a new trend to connect with masses. So I thought YouTube Channel will be perfect for me. Moreover, I want try something on my own."
He seemed unconvinced till she said, "I want to express my gratitude towards delicious food and all the awesome eateries of this world for being my one-stop destination for enjoying life."

Realizing that there was no way out except of accepting her demand, he gave in before the adamant Anvesha Chatterjee, partially because of the fact that he was impressed by her zeal to accomplish something in her life and mainly because he was a connoisseur of the scrumptious cuisines himself. He glanced at his staff, the waiters, the manager and the cooks who were listening attentively to the discourse. Taking a deep breath, he announced, "Since you are after my life and I am not willing to die so young after hearing your shrill voice continuously, Ms. Anvesha Chatterjee, I permit you to begin your dream, your food vlog channel from my restaurant."
The icy blue eyes of Anvesha which were dark in anger a moment before gleamed with charm and joy as he said that. A smile flashed on her pink lips, as she heard, "See you on Saturday at ten sharp in the morning and kindly finish the vlog in thirty minutes."
She was beyond angry at his unprofessional comment on her pitch but she simply chose to ignore. She was used to ignoring such remarks about herself. No doubts, she was a bold, confident professional anchor yet, she was judged on every aspect, be it her dressing sense or her voice, because she was a female. Therefore, it was easy to ignore the comment of Mr. Haughty Shoes.
Having said that, Adhyayan returned a small smile looking at her enticing smile. Taking a deep breath, he turned towards his manager, Praveen Sharma, and said, "Praveen, discuss the details for the menu for the vlog this weekend and make sure that all the arrangements are perfect."
"O! Thank you so much, sir", Anvesha said smiling as she offered her hand for a formal handshake expressing her gratitude before he could turn away.
Nodding his head, Adhyayan formally shook his big, masculine hands with her small, soft ones. An unknown tingling emotion welled up inside him as his palm touched hers. Returning a small smile, she turned away from him and moved towards Praveen, the manager.
Having a detailed conversation with Praveen about the desired menu for her, she noticed at Adhyayan who pretended to instruct the cooks working with him occasionally stealing glances at her.
Picking her big black H&M leather tote, she retreated towards the exit moving out of the empty restaurant as there were no visitors in the early morning hours.
Adhyayan sighed as he glanced her tall, slender figure retreating away from his eyes. Somewhere, he was definitely attracted to the girl who was talking vivaciously with him few moments ago. She was the same innocent girl who looked aesthetic in a simple royal blue dress that reached her knees. She was the same girl whose ebony black curly hair bounced on her shoulder as she requested him in her captivating voice. She was indeed the same girl who walked towards Praveen elegantly in a pair of black elegant pumps with minimal heel owing to her tall height of about 5.9 feet. Yes, she was Ms. Anvesha Chatterjee, a reputed journalist and enticing host of a talk show at one of the leading media channels of the nation. Along with that, she was also the same simple, little girl who wanted to start her dream career of being a food vlogger to show her love towards food.
