The fake Redrick looked at the ice sword inside his heart as he remained levitating closer to the cracked wall that the river was inside. Looking at the sword inside his heart, the fake Redrick knew he had been greatly injured or might die since he had been stabbed in the heart by the only sword that could kill him.

The fake Redrick could also feel he was freezing from the inside which means he had begun to die from the inside. At the moment the ice swords stabbed the fake Redrick heart, the river soldiers suddenly stopped fighting Marcelos because they all felt hurt too just like their master was hurting.

Marcelos was confused when he saw the river soldiers stop fighting him and fall to their knees in pain, then Marcelos looked forward to see the fake Redrick levitating in the same spot Esther was before, and he saw the ice sword stuck in fake Redrick's heart. Marcelos also saw Esther standing close to Redrick and the others who remained on their knees and unconscious.

Seeing Esther on her feet, Marcelos was glad that she was out of danger, and it could only be Esther who got the fake Redrick stabbed by his own sword in the heart, then Marcelos walked to Esther after making the swords in his hands disappeared.

Esther could be seen standing and staring at the fake Redrick who was now suddenly taking his true river form as she and Redrick watched him. The fake Redrick took his true form which was a liquid (water) body but the figure of a man, and still, the ice sword remained stuck to his heart.

Immediately the river took its true form, Esther, Redrick, and Marcelos could see that the river was freezing from the inside, and by this time, the river soldiers had suddenly all frozen. Then Esther said to the river “I told you that it was a mistake to keep me here. You have not what it takes to handle me. Your death was sure the moment you went against me. Your greed brought your end”.

“I am sorry. Please help me. I promise to let you all go” the river pleaded in pain to Esther.

“The time is gone for that. You can no longer help me, and I have no use for you. This is where you reap what you sow. Maybe you should try not to be greedy the next time. Wish you a safe journey to the afterlife” said Esther to the river.

The river pleaded as much as it wanted to Esther not to let him die, but Esther said nothing and watched as the river's whole body froze in the spot he remained which was when the river stopped talking. Immediately the river froze, Redrick went to embrace Esther, telling her that he was glad that she was okay. Esther also hugged Redrick back and thanked him for believing in her.

Marcelos was already close to Esther and Redrick before the river froze, and when Esther and Redrick embraced each other, Marcelos wondered if they had not seen him. Marcelos realized their hugging was taking too long for him, so he said to them “with you two love birds cut the love act and get me out of here”.

Hearing that made Redrick and Esther separated, then Esther said to Marcelos “thank you, Marcelos”.

“I don’t need your thank you, how many times do I have to tell you that? I have kept my end of the bargain, so I want you to do yours and get me out of here” said Marcelos to Esther.

“Yeah. Your children are waiting for you once you get out of here” said Esther to Marcelos.

"How sure can I be that they have been released? I mean you imprisoned them for a reason, so I don’t trust you because we can never trust each other since we are enemies, not to talk of you letting them go easily” said Marcelos to Esther.

“You are right, but I am a human who doesn’t break my promise. I will have them release to you” said Esther to Marcelos.

Then a door suddenly appeared close to the three of them, and Esther said to Marcelos “that is your way out”.

Marcelos walked to the door without looking at Esther and Redrick. Marcelos got to the door and opened it, but before Marcelos walked into the door, Esther said to him “it was nice seeing the good side of you, Marcelos. It would have been a great thing if it was reverse”.

Hearing that made Marcelos stop and look at Esther for some seconds as Esther was also looking at him, then Marcelos said to Esther “No. I will always choose this path over and over again”,  and walked into the door.

Immediately Marcelos saw himself walk into the door, Marcelos and Redrick were suddenly back to Marcelos’ subconscious where it was all dark, and they were standing next to each other. At this moment, Marcelos has found out everything he needs to know and realize, then Redrick says to him “you entered the door and you were back here”.

“I understand all that happened now, but, surprisingly, all these happened and it felt like a second” said Marcelos who was still surprised to Redrick.

“I understand. Esther actually wants you not to remember any of these but I think it is better you do. At least you need to know how powerful Esther also is even though we know how powerful you are too” said Redrick.

“I and Esther had a different purpose, and it is a battle between the both of us which one must win. I don’t plan on losing nor does she, so the end matter most……… How about you tell me why I am still here when I am supposed to regain consciousness in the real world” said Marcelos.

“Sorry about that. Here is a way out” said Redrick, then a red door appeared close to the both of them.

Marcelos walked to the door, and he opened the door upon getting to it, but before Marcelos walked into the door, Redrick said to him “it was nice meeting the world's most feared evil, Marcelos”.

Marcelos gave a smile and walked into the door, then Marcelos regained consciousness in his tent and opened his eyes to see he was back in his tent and was on his bed. Marcelos sat up and looked around the tent to see Zussorader who was seated on a chair, and he was asleep.

Marcelos got out of bed and walked to Zussorader, and then Marcelos woke up Zussorader when he got to Zussorader. Zussorader was so glad when he saw Marcelos awake, and then he asked if Marcelos was okay. However, Marcelos gave no answer to Zussorader concerning the question he asked, and then Marcelos asked if the Marcs and phoenixes had returned.

Zussorader wonders why Marcelos was asking him such a question when they both know that the Marcs and phoenixes are currently imprisoned in a sphere they can’t escape by Esther. However, Zussorader answered Marcelos that no, and Zussorader saw that Marcelos got angry immediately he said no.

Marcelos became angry when he heard that the phoenixes and Marcs weren’t back because that made him think he had been used and tricked by Esther and Redrick who only got him to help them, and they didn’t keep the end of their bargain to release to him the Marcs and phoenixes.

Zussorader saw the mood Marcelos was as Marcelos went to sit back on the bed mouthing words, so Zussorader could not ask Marcelos what happened to him, where he went while he was unconscious, or tell him about the Nylins and their Varlyns. Just then, Marcelos and Zussorader heard a noise coming from outside the tent.

Marcelos was the first to walk out of the tent to check out what was happening to have created such noise, then followed by Zussorader. Immediately Marcelos and Zusaorader walked out of the tent, they saw all the soldiers running to a place in the camp, and that made Zussorader and Marcelos also walk to where the soldiers were all going.

When Marcelos and Zussorader go to the place in the camp, they see the soldiers and Philip gathered there, and they are all looking at something. Philip was the first that notice Marcelos' presence, and he made Marcelos' presence known to the soldiers. Immediately they all saw Marcelos, they all bowed to Marcelos to pay their respect, and they all paved the way for Marcelos to see what they were all watching.

Marcelos and Zussorader walked forward and closer to know what the soldiers and Philip were all staring at before the soldiers and Philip saw them. After walking a bit forward and closer, Marcelos and Zussorader saw what they were all staring at was an open portal.

Just like Philip and Marcelos’ soldiers felt like the portal was not harmful when they saw it which was why they didn't get ready to fight, Marcelos and Zussorader also felt that the portal was not harmful and nothing of threat was going to come out of it.

Just then, they all suddenly saw the Marcs and phoenixes begin to step out of the portal. Seeing the Marcs and the phoenixes, the soldiers cheered happily, and Zussorader and Philip were happy that the phoenixes and Marcs had returned, escaping their magical prison world, even though Zussorader wondered if where Marcelos went when he was unconscious was how he was able to save the phoenixes and Marcs from the prison world.

Marcelos was so glad as he watched his Marcs and phoenixes walk out of the portal, but at the same time, he thought to himself that Esther kept her promise. Marcelos was so happy that when he saw Bane, he ran to her, and when Marcelos got to Bane, Bane raised her head down and Marcelos embraced her head, while the soldiers cheered on, then the portal closed after all Marcs and phoenixes came out of it.

Esther, Noah, Ramsay, Tracy, Camelia, Mike, Kylie, Kinsley, Hawk, Lilia, Benjamin, and Ryn could be seen swimming out of the river, and when they got to the edge of the river closer to land, they all crawled out of the river to shore.

Immediately they all crawled out of the river to the shore opposite, they all could be seen coughing out water, and they all felt very weak. Their belongings could also be seen washed to the shore by the river.

They all lay on the ground breathing heavily, closer to the river even though they were trying to control their breathing after they stopped coughing out water. Then Benjamin said “I hope we don’t die on this journey”.

“Who would have thought that river could want us dead” said Kylie with smirked.

“How about you all save your strength and get a rest? We still have to continue the journey” said Hawk.

“I guess we will all die then” said Benjamin.

“I will try as much as I can to protect you all even though I can’t promise that we will survive this journey now that everything we have met has tried to kill us” said Esther.

“Which is the more reason why I need to rest, so can you all shut up before another thing comes out to kill us” said Ramsay, and that made them all laugh.

While Esther, Noah, Ramsay, Tracy, Camelia, Mike, Kylie, Kinsley, Hawk, Lilia, Benjamin, and Ryn laughed, the whole of the river suddenly froze.
