Redrick told Marcelos what had happened to Esther and what he wanted Marcelos to do for them so Marcelos could help free Esther. Marcelos smiled upon hearing all that and couldn’t comprehend what would make them come to him of all people.

Redrick wondered why Marcelos smiled then Marcelos said to Redrick “I don’t know what you and Esther were thinking before you decided to come to me. I mean you just tell me that a river that is capable of killing Esther presently has Esther in captivity and the river is slowly draining Esther's powers for itself till Esther dies. So why will I help Esther out?

I want Esther dead so I can be free from all these things she has in me and I have a river that is going to do the work for me so why should I save Esther? Esther is an obstacle to me completing my work of creating a better world so joining the river in ending her life is the better thing for me to do. You are kind of stupid telling this kind of thing”.

“How about you let me be done so you can know how Esther's death is going to affect you if Esther dies right now” said Redrick to Marcelos.

“Esther's death is not going to affect me in any way so what I am going to do after I get out of here is find the river and aid it to kill Esther. I might even take Esther's power from the river and it will be a win-win on my side” said Marcelos with a smile and happiness.

“Let me remind you in case you have forgotten 'cause it seems you have. If Esther should die, you will lose your Marcs and Phoenixes forever. Your dark crystal will also be lost forever and you will never be able to get out of this sphere you and I are presently are” said Redrick bluntly.

Marcelos smirked and said “that can be nothing but a mere threat so you can get me to help Esther. I will find my crystal. If Zussorader can get me out of that prison so will I be able to get my Tatar out of there, and I can never be imprisoned in this sphere as long as Zussorader lives and he keeps trying his best”.

“The prison and this sphere were created with Esther's powers so if Esther is to die at this moment then everything will vanish along with whoever or whatever is in it. Your dark crystal will also be lost forever. There will nothing for Zussorader to save” said Redrick, in a convincing way.

Marcelos was worried to hear that because he knew something like that was possible but he did not show it. Marcelos said “and you want me to believe that? All this mere threat is not enough to change my mind because I want Esther dead more than anything”.

“I can’t force you to believe me but Esther's life is connected to this place and the prison. Esther is also the only one that can find the crystal. Esther's death still means we won, and your death will make most of your armies vanish which explains the connection between all things and Esther's connection to this place and the prison” said Redrick.

“Are you threatening me to help Esther?” asked Marcelos.

“I am trying to make a deal with you just like I have said in the first place but I need you to understand the current situation Esther is in and how you can help her” said Redrick.

“I get it. You want me to come into the illusion because I am not connected to the river at the moment which means I will be a stranger in the illusion and the reality that can make the illusion dispersed. Just tell me what the deal is” said Marcelos eagerly.

“You know I never thought a day like this would come. I am sure Esther had never even seen a day like this. A day we will need the help of a devil like you, our common foe. You are……………” said Redrick.

Redrick was cut short of words as Marcelos cut in saying “shut up, you talk too much. Just tell me what the deal is”.

“Esther has agreed to let out your Marcs and Phoenixes in exchange for your help” said Redrick.

“Just my Marcs and phoenixes?” asked Marcelos surprised, and Redrick nodded.

“That would not be enough to help Esther. I want my crystal and my Tatar if you want to have a deal” said Marcelos.

“This deal is not negotiable, Marcelos. If you haven’t been weak and powerless then Esther wouldn’t have taken the both from you. Even in that illusion, Esther still has a thing over you which means you are present not a match for her so just do exactly as you are told if you don’t want any more damage to be done to you” said Redrick.

“And that is if the river doesn't kill her first. Whatever it is that Esther had done to me for her to be able to do as she wishes with me will end when I have the crystal. The crystal will be my freedom so I want it at all cost if we are going to have a deal. Forget my Tatar and get me my crystal then we have a deal” said Marcelos.

“So someone as powerful as you can want to get out of the lair of someone. I get Esther have you scared” said Redrick.

“That is none of your concern. I want the crystal and that is all” said Marcelos.

“Esther can never agree to give you what will make you so powerful that even her will start to get scared of you which is why she has suggested that she would release the Marcs and phoenixes” said Redrick.

“Then there is no deal if you can’t give me the crystal” said Marcelos angrily.

“And if there is no deal…… You, your Marcs, phoenixes, and your crystal will vanish and that would be the end to you forever. Don’t make it sound like you have a choice to make, you don’t. Your life hangs in balance with Esther's life so think before you make a choice” said Redrick.

Marcelos thought of what he was going to do and if he should agree to the deal. Marcelos knew there was no way they would ever give him the crystal since it was the only thing that could make him speedily complete his work and make every one of them fear him even if he was in the right position to make a choice.

Marcelos also knows that Esther's living is the only way to get his Marcs and phoenixes and make his way out of the sphere he is presently in. Getting the crystal will be for later and having his Marcs and phoenixes back will add to his power so he has to do it.

Redrick said to Marcelos “we don’t have much time. Make your choice now and let's see if we are all going to survive this or we all die together. You don’t have a choice but to do this”.

Marcelos agreed to help Esther and Redrick told him he made the right choice. Redrick wasn’t sure that he would be able to convince Marcelos because he knew most of what he said to Marcelos was a lie but he was glad that he was able to deceive Marcelos with his lies.

Zussorader hasn’t been able to wake Marcelos and then Philip comes to him reporting of unknown creatures and some strange people attacking him and Marcelos’ armies to save the people of the town.

Zussorader wondered who the creatures and people were but Philip wasn’t able to give good descriptions of the creatures and the people because he claimed it was dark, the creatures were fast, and the people were trained in the way of fighting Marcelos’ armies.

Zussorader would have known who the people and the creatures were if Philip had given a good description of them so Zussorader had to go to the Orges to find out about who the people and their creatures are.

Zussorader was able to find out from the Orges that the creatures and the people are old and from ancient times and that was not the first time they would be seeing and fighting them. The Orges gave Zussorader good descriptions of what the creatures look like and the people. Hearing that, Zussorader went to his book where it was to find out how which among the beings that once lived in Axrax matched the Orges' descriptions.

Zussorader was scrolling through his book when he saw the drawn picture of a creature and human-like that matched the descriptions the Orges gave. Zussorader takes his book to the Orges and shows them the image in the book and they confirm that they are who attacked them and who they are talking about.

Realizing that, Zussorader became worried and went back to wake Marcelos so he could give him the warning now that the Nylins and Varlyns were back after many years of their unknown whereabouts which most thought they had vanished.

Redrick returns to the illusion world with Marcelos to see Esther so they can begin the task of making the illusion dispersed but upon getting to where Esther was with Marcelos, it wasn’t where they thought they would be meeting Esther they found her.

Redrick and Marcelos met Esther in a dungeon cell and she was chained in the hands with shackles. Redrick was confused to see where Esther was and wondered what was going on but Marcelos didn’t care. Esther was seated on the ground in the cell and her head was bowed.

Redrick made himself known to Esther in the cage and Esther saw him and Marcelos and they could see the gladness on her face when she saw them. Esther stood up and hugged Redrick without having to wrap her arms around him and she said to Redrick “ I am so glad you are back”.

Redrick separated from Esther and asked her “what is going on? Why are you in a cell and chained?”.

“The story has been changed. I don’t know how it happened or if he found out but the story had been changing. He changed the story” said Esther worriedly.

Redrick doesn’t understand what Esther means and Marcelos just stands watching the both of them. Redrick tells Esther to explain better so he can understand her but just then, they all see the other Redrick walked into the dungeon and toward the cell Esther was in.

Esther and Redrick knew who the other Redrick was so they became worried when they saw him but Marcelos could feel a dark energy from the other Redrick and immediately Marcelos knew the other Redrick was the river itself.
