The battle lasted till midnight again before Marcelos ordered the retreat of his armies. During the battle, Marcelos was smiling as he watched Karl and realized how good and brave she was. Marcelos even orders his armies not to focus on Karl again and that he would like to have her join them so they should capture her if they can. Marcelos doesn't truly know who Karl is so he doesn't know it would be impossible to capture Karl.

Hemdal, Karl, Dawson, Nelson, and the armies fought bravely to protect the gate so it wouldn't be breached and they were able to survive another day. They lost some of their soldiers and some got wounded, and Marcelos’ armies also suffered great casualties but that doesn't mean anything because Marcelos will bring them back to life.

Esther regained consciousness feeling weak and opened her eyes to see she was in a room and was lying on a bed. Esther decided to look around the room to know where she was and upon looking around the room Esther realized she was in her room in Axrax palace. Not only that, but she also saw lord Emmanuel, King Raynold, Zussorender, Noah, Ramsay, Camelia, Tracy, Mike, Kinsley, Hawk, Redrick, and Kylie all together a few paces from the bed as King Raynold was talking to them.

Esther was about to raise her upper body to truly understand what was going on when her father, King Raynold, the princesses, Hawk, Zussorender, and the princesses saw her awake and then quickly came to her. Upon getting to Esther, Esther saw they all looked relieved to see her awake and they all asked if she was okay.

Esther was confused to see them all and was still wondering what was happening so she could not give any answer to them but looked at every one of them and the room she was in as her upper body was raised. They all kept asking if Esther was okay and were worried since Esther wasn’t answering and was just looking at the room and every one of them in a weird way.

Esther couldn’t still grasp the situation and understand what was happening so she asked them “what is happening?”.

“Are you okay?” Lord Emmanuel asked Esther.

“Just tell me what is happening” said Esther.

“We should be asking you that? You were brought home unconscious by the guards so we are waiting for you to wake up so we can ask what happened?” said lord Emmanuel to Esther

“That is not what I am asking. I am asking how come we are all here” said Esther to them.

They all wondered what Esther meant by those words and then Noah said to her “what do you mean by how come we are all here? This is our home of course. Where else would we be if not home?”.

Esther sat up still wondering what was going on and why Noah would say that and then Esther said worriedly “this has got to be some kind of dream or past”.

They all find what Esther says to be weird and then King Raynold says to Esther “I understand that you are just waking up from a few days' sleep but this is not a dream or past”.

“You wouldn’t understand. This can only be a past for every one of us to be present” said Esther, and then remembered the river which made her worried and said “I need to wake up and save everyone from drowning”.

Everyone wondered what was wrong with Esther hearing her say that. Zussorender asked Esther “who it is that you want to save?”.

Hearing that, Esther looked at Zussorender and then everyone and said “you all”.

Hearing that, they all concluded that something was wrong with Esther. Mike said to Esther “do we look like someone that needs saving? You need to snap out of whatever it is that happened while you were unconscious and realize you are now back to us. I guess this is the bad side of being a Sa’er”.

“Hey, don’t talk to her like that. She must have gone through a lot while she is unconscious which is why she is acting weird but if we let her rest am sure she will be okay” said Redrick.

Hearing Redrick, Esther stood up and walked to Redrick while they all watched. Upon getting to Redrick who was smiling at her as she walked to him, Esther touched Redrick's cheeks with her two hands looking sad and water filled her eyes. Redrick stopped smiling seeing Esther's facial expression and the water in her eyes and then he asked Esther “are you okay?”.

“Yes, I am” said Esther, and removed her hands from Redrick's cheeks and then looked at every one of them.

Everybody wondered why Esther was looking at them with her facial expression telling them she was sad and water filled her eyes just then Esther said with a smile to them “it is so good to see you all together in one place again”.

“Esther, you need to…….” said Lord Emmanuel to Esther, as he tried to move closer to Esther.

Lord Emmanuel was cut short of words and stopped from moving closer to Esther as Esther cut in saying “I understand, Father. I am sure I did not bring myself here but my heart did. It is something I long for even when I know it is no longer possible. Seeing you all gives me courage and hope so I have to return to set things right before it is too late”.

Hearing that, the princes and the princesses thought Esther might still be thinking she is dreaming or in the past or future she might have gone while she was unconscious which is what is making her act weirdly while Hawk, Zussorender, King Raynold, and lord Emmanuel thought it might be the side effect of what happened to her that made her unconscious which is still unknown.

Hawk asked Esther “so where are you returning to?”, to know what is really going on with her.

“To the future. I am sure this is a past even though I can’t remember what past it is” said Esther.

Hearing that, they all finally realized something happened while she was unconscious, and that made them all worried. King Raynold moved closer to Esther and took her back to the bed while everyone watched. King Raynold sat down together on the bed with Esther and King Raynold said to her “Esther, we all know how powerful you are and great your Sa’er’s powers are but you need to listen to what I am about to say to you. We don’t know what it is you saw whether it is in the past or future but I can assure you that you are in the present. You are in the present not in the past you think you are”.

“I understand you, your royal majesty, but this is not the present. The present is not like this” said Esther sadly.

“Can you then tell us what the present is like?” said King Raynold to Esther, and everyone moved closer curious to hear what her present is like.

“I am sorry I can’t tell you that. Telling you the present in the past can affect the future and affect it badly. I can also assure you that this is a past. I might not be sure how I got here but this is a past that I am sure of” said Esther, and they all became more worried.

“Is there any way you can make us believe that this is a past?” Kinsley asked Esther.

“I am sure it was my soul in the present that found a way to get connected to my past soul which is why I fell unconscious and can know that I am in the past so if I can disconnect my present soul from my past soul you can all get the Esther of now back and what I am saying will all stop being weird to you guys” said Esther.

“So what you mean now is that you want to return to your present and in doing soul the Esther that is supposed to be the past Esther which is our Esther will return?” Zussorender asked Esther.

“Does this even sound normal? I don’t think she is telling any truth. What does she mean we are the past, she is the present and she must return to the present? I think something must have messed with her brain and we are supposed to find a way to help her with that not be here with her questioning her” said Camelia.

“Nothing has messed up with my brain. I know what I am saying and I can read some of your minds. I am not crazy. Once I return, the Esther you are all expecting to see will return then you will understand” said Esther.

“I want to know what happened in the present. Your facial expression looked sad when you looked at all of us. Even water filled your eyes which is that of tears when you look at everyone so I want to know. I want to know what happened in the present” said Redrick to Esther.

Esther looked at Redrick for a while and Redrick also looked at her back before Esther looked at everyone and saw they were also curious to know what happened. Esther took a deep breath and said “I can’t. I can’t tell you all. All I need is for you to allow me to return”.

“What was the last thing you remember before coming here?” Tracy asked Esther.

“We are on the verge of crossing the river of tears before the inevitable happened?” said Esther

Everyone was confused to hear of such a river wondering if such a river existed or if Esther was lying. Hawk asked Esther “you and who were trying to cross the river?”.

“That is all I can tell you, no more” said Esther.

King Raynold stood up and called Zussorender and Lord Emmanuel close to him and they all walked forward to have a private conversation. The three of them stopped a few paces from the princes, the princesses, and Hawk who was weirdly looking at Esther thinking something must have messed with her brain, and Esther who was trying to remember how she got to the past and had to return to the present to save the others from drowning as she looks at every one of them and most especially Redrick.

King Raynold asked Zussorender “is she telling the truth about all that she is saying?”.

“I am not sure. To be precise, I don’t know. There is also no way to know if she is lying or telling the truth since she is the Sa’er” said Zussorader.

“Does that mean she might be right about her coming from the future?”.

“Yes and no. We don’t know what made her unconscious in the first place and what that might have done to her or affected her which might have messed with her head and mind. But we also know she is a Sa’er that can travel through time which means she might be right about her being a future in connection with her past” said Zussorender.

“Then what do you suggest that we do now? We can’t just keep asking questions and leave her like this” said King Raynold.

“Yeah. We need to find out if something has truly messed with her mind and brain which is making her believe she is from the present or if she is truly from the present” said Lord Emmanuel.

“We let her go. She said she could return to the present which is our future and once she did our past Esther which is our present Esther will return. So we let her return” said Zussorender.

“Is that a great idea? What if she is not from the future? Then what?” asked Lord Emmanuel.

“Then she goes nowhere and we find a way to find out what is truly wrong with her and find a way to help her” said Zussorender.

“Okay. Let go with that idea since nothing bad is going to happen to her” said King Raynold, and they all agreed.

Lord Emmanuel, King Raynold, and Zussorender returned to Esther and told her she could return to her presence. Esther was glad to hear that they would be letting her leave but was sad that this would be the last time she would see such a scene and some of them once again so she hugged each one of them at a time and told them she loved them and will always will.

They all watched as Esther lay on the bed, said goodbye to them, and then closed her eyes to return to her present.

Esther was woken up when she heard multiple voices screaming her name at the same time and she opened her eyes to see she was lying on a frozen sea and the screaming stopped. Esther was confused and surprised to see she was lying on a frozen sea with nothing around her except the frozen sea she was lying on and could see as she tried to stand up. Esther stood up wondering where she was, why she was there, and what brought her there looking around when she was supposed to wake up in the river of tears so she could save the others.

Esther stood at the same spot wondering what is it that is truly happening and why she was there instead of the present when she suddenly heard a bang on the ice beneath her and that made her look at the ice beneath where she stood to see what made the bang sound but she saw nothing.

Since It was that same spot she felt and heard the bang on the ice so Esther's eyes were still fixed on that ice and suddenly she saw a hand bang on the ice beneath the ice and that got Esther shocked. Immediately she saw the hand, Esther suddenly became so cold that she had to wrap her arms together around her body for heat but then she saw multiple hands banging on the ice at the same time continuously very loudly.

Seeing what was happening, Esther was now getting scared and colder just then she heard someone call her name from behind. Hearing someone call her name from behind, Esther turned back slowly, and then she was shocked to see Redrick and mouth his name “Redrick?”.

Redrick suddenly holds Esther's shoulder and says to her out loud worriedly “you need to wake up, Esther. You need to wake up. You need to wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!”.

Esther woke up and opened her eyes gasping and looked around to see where she was again and saw she was back in her room again in Axrax and was no longer feeling cold. Esther was shocked that she was back in her room in Axrax again and wondered what it was that was going on. Esther quickly got up on her feet and went out to know where she truly was.

Esther walked out of the room and saw the guards at the doorstep guarding the door to her room and immediately the guards saw her they wanted to hold her down but Esther ran like her life depended on it and they went after her.

Esther never stopped running even though she saw guards, maids, and some other people in Axrax palace which was getting her confused wondering what was happening, and all the guards that saw her kept going after her to capture her.

Esther stopped when she got to the palace compound and fell to her knees when she realized she was truly in Axrax and everything was back in place. Esther confused, astounded, and bewildered said “what the fuck is going on?”.
