Hawk, Ramsay, Esther, Camelia, and Mike were all anxious hearing that they had to decide concerning Redrick's chance of surviving. The five of them didn't know what decision to make since they wanted to save Redrick and the only way they could save him also seemed to be the way to kill him.

Camelia said annoyingly to the leader of the strange people “you said you could treat him but your way also means killing him. Coming here was a waste of time we should never have trusted you”, which Hawk interpreted for the leader using the ancient language so he could understand what Camelia said.

The leader said “I did say that but that was because I didn't know his injury was worse and dark like this”, and Hawk translated for Camelia and Mike.

“So there is no way to save him or else we want to kill him?” Ramsay asked the leader, Hawk translate for Mike and Camelia.

The leader sighed and said “there is one thing we could try but that is also a 50/50 chance”, and Hawk interpreted it for Mike and Camelia.

Esther, Ramsay, Hawk, Mike, and Camelia were glad to hear that and then Esther asked the leader “what is it?”.

“Am not sure you will want to do it” said the leader, and Hawk interpreted for Camelia and Mike.

“We will do anything as long as it will save Redrick's life” said Hawk to the leader.

“I don't need any of you except her (Esther)” said the leader looking at Esther, and Hawk interpreted for Camelia and Mike.

“Her? Why her?” Ramsay asked the leader.

“Because I can sense that she is the most powerful one among you all. Her powers are fearsome and limitless, and I can sense the kind of power she has” said the leader.

Esther, Hawk, Mike, Camelia, and Ramsay were surprised how the leader came to know of that but Esther asked the leader “what do my powers have to do with this?”.

“I will be needing Esther to link with Redrick and not just link with him but replicate him so that by the time we begin to pass the dark magic inside Redrick into Esther, Redrick’s soul won't be able to follow because the dark magic will think he is still moving around inside Redrick” said the leader.

“If we are to hear you correctly. You want to pass the dark magic inside Redrick to Esther and want Esther to replicate Redrick?” Ramsay asked the leader.

“Yes. That is the only solution I think can work” said the leader.

“But passing the dark magic to Esther is risky, and I don't think Esther has such power to the able to replicate another human. Won't the dark magic kill Esther?” Hawk asked the leader.

“I guess you all don't know how powerful she is. Her powers are limitless and can also be dangerous which is why she has to keep some of it hidden. You can ask her. She has the power to replicate Redrick. We need her to replicate Redrick so the dark magic won't leave Redrick's body with his soul when we begin to transfer the dark magic into her thinking it is still moving through Redrick's body” said the leader.

Ramsay, Mike, Camelia, and Hawk all looked at Esther with their facial expressions asking Esther if she really had such power to replicate someone. Esther noticed the way they were all looking at her and she said to them “yes, I can replicate anyone I want to”, and they were all shocked to hear that.

“Have you ever replicated anyone before?” Camellia asked Esther.

“I haven't. To replicate someone takes a lot of energy and spell. If I also misuse the spell I might never be able or get to return to my real self” said Esther.

“Then this means this will be your first time?” Mike asked Esther.

“Yes” said Esther.

“This is too dangerous. We can't risk this” said Ramsay.

“It is not. All she needs to do is just become Redrick and the worst that could happen is her becoming Redrick for life. That doesn't change her power of who she is” said Camelia to Ramsay.

“You are right, Camelia. I would just be a man for the rest of my life” said Esther.

“Does that mean you are gonna go through with this?” Hawk asked Esther.

“Yes. We have to save Redrick. Don't worry I won't become a man for the rest of my life. I will make sure of that” said Esther.

“Are you sure this will save Redrick?” Esther asked the leader.

“Am not 100 percent sure and I won't lie. There is a chance even if we do this Redrick might not survive. The dark magic has deeply affected him” said the leader.

“Then why did you suggest we do this knowing Redrick might still not survive this?” Mike asked the leader with annoyance.

“Because Redrick might survive. It is a 50/50 chance” said the leader.

“What about the dark magic? Hope it won't affect Esther after it is transferred to her?” Ramsay asked the leader.

“It will affect her but it won't be able to kill her because of her power. And we will be healing Esther at the same time we are passing the dark magic from Redrick into her” said the leader.

“Am doing this. There is nothing else to think about” said Esther.

“I don’t think we can stop you. We are trusting and keeping our faith in you” said Hawk to Esther.

“You have to return. Promise me that” said Ramsay to Esther.

“I will” said Esther to Ramsay, and asked the leader “so when do we get started?”.

“This process will take days because will have to transfer the dark magic little by little from Redrick to you and at the same time, we will be healing you so we better get to it now. So go replicate Redrick” said the leader to Esther.

“To replicate Redrick I will be needing his blood” said Esther.

“You can go get it” said Mike.

Esther said to Camelia “don’t worry. We will get him back”, and Camelia nodded her head.

Esther, Mike, Ramsay, Camelia, and Hawk return to the others and tell them all they heard from the leader of the strange people and what they need to do to save Redrick. The others find Esther having the power of replication surprising and Esther replicating Redrick to be dangerous but they have no choice but to let her do it since that is the only way to save Redrick which means they will be spending more days in the strange people’s village and get to know them more.

Esther took Redrick's blood and it took some hours and energy before she was able to finish the replication spell on the blood. After finishing the spell, Esther drank the blood and she replicated Redrick. The princes, the princesses, Hawk, Benjamin, Ryn, and Lilia were all astounded to see Esther become Redrick and there was no way of them knowing Esther wasn’t Redrick if they had not seen her change in front of them and that made them believe Esther’s powers truly has no limit.

After Esther replicates Redrick, she was taken by the leader of the strange people followed by the others so they can start the process. Esther was laid next to Redrick in the house and was given an herb to drink to make her unconscious as the others watched. Immediately Esther took the herb and became unconscious, the leader and some of the strange people began to process the transfer of the dark magic inside Redrick's body to Esther’s body.

Hemdal never stopped raising more soldiers with the humans and Karl helped train the soldiers too. Karl also never stopped helping Hemdal train the wizards even though most of them seemed to be young and Zussorender’s son (Gabriel) seemed to possess an amazing and great magical power. Gabriel also seemed to be outstanding among his peers when it came to magic, and that made Lythia realize why Zussorender once sealed Gabriel's magical power inside him. Gabriel also was able to use his father's spell book and teach the other wizards.

Karl and Nelson also never stopped training and raising more armies with all the shapeshifters preparing for the greatest battle that the world had ever seen to come.

The more times Hemdal spent with Karl made him realize Karl has feelings for him which she is strongly trying to deny and not show but Hemdal who has been single ever since he became the head guard also felt for Karl. Hemdal realizes how amazing Karl is and how funny she can be sometimes making him believe all they told him about Karl to be wrong or maybe she has changed. Hemdal didn't know how he also felt for Karl and why Karl loved him.

Hemdal and Karl now know they are now in love with each other but decide to keep things slow and don’t make any confession because they have to focus on the things at hand at the moment if they are ever gonna survive the doomed war.

Zussorader and Marcelos’ armies given to him continue to purge the earth killing anything that stands in their way and burning things to the ground as ordered by Marcelos.
