The princes, the princesses, and Lilia all unsheathed their weapons as they saw the skeletons getting closer to them, and at the same time looking at many more skeletons that continuously crawled out of the crevasse. Hawk, Benjamin, and Ryn try to take an animal form but they find it impossible and ask why then Esther says to them “there is no magic in here so since you are magical creatures the magic that always makes you change won't work here”.

Hearing that, Hawk took Mike's sword saying to him that he hadn't fully recovered and he should sit this out. Mike, Benjamin, and Ryn were put in the middle since they won't be able to fight. Ramsay said to everyone “we will fight them pushing them backward toward the cave. We are going forward not backward”.

“But aren't them too many for us to handle?” said Kylie.

“Yeah they are but they are just skeletons so we should be able to handle them” said Noah.

“They even have nice weapons. I even wondered what happened to them and where they got the weapons” said Redrick.

“You can ask them later after we get out of here” said Mike.

“You should also sit this out, Tracy. I don't think your arrows can do anything to them” said Hawk to Tracy.

“I was even thinking that too” said Tracy, then Tracy joined Ryn, Benjamin, and Mike in the middle.

The princes, the princess, Lilia, and Hawk waited for the skeletons to get closer to them before they attacked the skeletons from both the left and right sides while Tracy, Ryn, Benjamin, and Mike watched unable to do anything.

The skeletons attacked the princes, the princesses, Hawk, and Lilia from all angles and they made sure to protect themselves and those in the middle by taking part of the skeletons’ bodies mostly their heads. The princes, princesses, Lilia, and Hawk thought the skeletons would be easy to handle but upon fighting them with their weapons and wooden torches they realize they must have been soldiers when they were alive, but still, the skeletons were no match for the princes, the princesses, Lilia, and Hawk.

The princes, the princesses, Lilia, and Hawk fought through the skeletons clearing their way toward the cave and at the same time protecting the ones in the middle and their behinds by killing the skeletons that were attacking from behind.

It was not easy fighting the skeletons now that four of them were out of the fight and getting to the cave wasn't a small journey. It took 2 hours before the princes, princesses, Lilia and Hawk were able to fight through the skeletons to the cave even though the skeletons were attacking from all angles.

Upon getting to the cave, only Mike, Ryn, Benjamin, and Tracy were allowed to enter the cave to check if the cave was a safe way they could pass through or not while the others continued to hold the skeletons off at the cave entrance. Mike, Ryn, Benjamin, and Tracy came out of the cave into a small room inside the mountain where they saw three tunnels.

Mike, Tracy, Benjamin, and Ryn stood beside each other looking at the 3 tunnels wondering which one they should go into which might be dangerous. Tracy said “we have to split up and go into the tunnels”.

“I don't think that is a good idea. We all need to stick to each other judging that we are still solving the skeletons problem” said Ryn.

“Yeah we should not be divided at this time and besides we don't know what is waiting for us inside those tunnels” said Mike.

“But if we all go into one tunnel together that will only slow us down judging that we have three tunnels to check, and the others are out there fighting for our lives expecting us to find them a way out of here soon” said Benjamin.

“But separating is a bad idea when more skeletons or dangerous things could be inside the tunnels and we don't have anything to fight them nor can you both change into any animal” said Mike.

“You have your wooden torch with you, you can also use it to fight. If you are so afraid then you and Ryn should go through the middle tunnel together while I go through the left tunnel and Benjamin will go through the right tunnel. After seeing what is at the end of the tunnels we will meet each other back here” said Tracy, and they all agreed then they went into the tunnels.

After running through the three tunnels for a while, the four of them came out of the tunnels thinking they had found a way out but were shocked that they were back in the same room they left through the tunnels and that the tunnel had already suddenly become six, not 3 anymore.

Ryn, Mike, Benjamin, and Tracy stared at the six tunnels shocked then Mike said “this damned mountain is never letting us leave”.

“It wants us to die here” said Benjamin.

“The mountain is playing a trick on us. Am sure if we go into the tunnels again it is only going to multiply. The mountain is keeping the way out from us” said Tracy.

“I think we are all gonna die here. If the first place we come across could be like this I wondered how the other places would be if we were able to make it out of here alive. This mission is a bad idea” said Ryn.

Just then the four of them heard Kinsley's voice that asked them “what the hell is taking so long? Why hasn't the way been reported safe and good to go?”.

“Because we have a serious problem. The way is neither good, safe, or bad” said Tracy to the others who were fighting the skeletons.

Lilia was sent by the others fighting the skeleton to go check on what might be the problem with the way and immediately Lilia stepped into the space and saw Mike, Ryn, Benjamin, Tracy, and the six tunnels, Lilia recognized the tunnels and went back. Upon getting back to the front of the cave, Lilia drew Ramsay away from the battle to her. Lilia took the Dominion book from Ramsay's backpack and walked back into the cave while Ramsay returned to join the battle without asking Lilia anything knowing she needed the book partaking to their way out of the mountain.

Lilia began to flip the Dominion book pages as she stood in front of the six tunnels then Mike, Ryn, Tracy, and Benjamin moved closer to Lilia to see what she was looking for in the book. Lilia stopped flipping the book pages when she got to a page where the heading words said “The ruined city of the dead”, which they all saw but Tracy and Mike couldn't read except for Lilia, Ryn, and Benjamin who could read it and read it out for them to understand.

Hearing what the heading words meant, Mike asked “so this book knew about this place?“.

“Yes, it does” said Lilia,

“But what kind of language is this?” Tracy asked.

“It is an ancient language,” said Ryn.

“Ryn and Benjamin can be able to read and know the language judging by their age but what about you? How are you able to know the language?” Mike asked Lilia.

“Marcelos made sure we know the ancient language so we can communicate with his armies” said Lilia, and they began to read about this mountain inside the book out loud except for Mike and Tracy who couldn't.

The princes, the princesses, and Hawk continue holding off the skeletons in front of the cave, and the skeletons just keep increasing in number and remain relentless even though their bodies are getting decapitated which means they are getting killed.

The princes, the princesses, and Hawk were still fighting the skeletons when they heard the skeletons coming out of the crevasse cheering and shouting the name “Manqin”, but they chose not to mind the skeletons and continued fighting. The princes, Hawk, and the princesses were still holding off the cave entrance when they saw the skeletons inside the crevasse use themselves as the ladder for an advanced skeleton to climb to the bridge as they chanted its name.

The advanced skeleton was different from the other skeletons because its body's right side had skin on the bones, red eye, and hair on its head while the left side was just bones. Manqin was also holding two weapons, a sword in his right hand and an axe in his left hand.

Manqin got on top of the bridge and began to walk toward the princesses, the princes, and Hawk, and they saw it as they were busy fighting the skeletons in front of the cave. Seeing Manqin as it walked toward them holding his sword and axe and its name beings chanted, Noah decided to go attack Manqin alone before he got to them adding to the problem of skeletons they were already facing and dealing with as they waited for the others to find the way out of the mountain.

The princes, princesses, and Hawk saw Noah as he began to fight through the skeletons to get to Manqin and tried to stop him but couldn't. Noah fought through the skeletons and got to Manqin on the bridge then Manqin took its fighting stance upon seeing Noah. Noah smirked as Manqin took its fighting stance thinking it was just a skeleton with a half-human body that he could defeat then he attacked Manqin.

Tracy, Lilia, and Benjamin read all about the mountain and the tunnels then they realized that the tunnel was not the way out of the mountain but just an illusion to keep them in the mountain till they got killed by the skeletons. The five of them also realized the way out of the mountain was if they found the eye in the room they stood and made the skeleton’s King look into the eye, then the way would reveal itself.

Lilia, Tracy, Benjamin, Ryn, and Mike began to look for the eye in the room.

Noah who thought it was going to be easy to defeat Manqin was surprised at how skillful Manqin was in swordsmanship and martial arts, and the fight seemed to be unbalanced because he seemed not to be a match for Manqin. Noah still fought Manqin thinking he could defeat Manqin but he was wrong. Manqin beat Noah and made Noah fall to his knees then Manqin placed both his ax and sword close to Noah's neck and said out loud in ancient language to the other princes, princesses, and Hawk who were busy fighting the skeletons “surrender you all”.

Esther, Hawk, and Esther were the ones who understood what Manqin said making them look toward Manqin as they continued to fight to see Noah on his knees and Manqin's weapons placed close to Noah's neck then Manqin said to them in the ancient language again “surrender you all”.

Seeing Noah's situation, Esther, Ramsay, and Hawk had no choice but to surrender and they tell the others to stop fighting and surrender then they all surrender. The skeletons stopped attacking the princes, the princess, and Hawk as they surrendered and their weapons were taken from them by the skeletons, then Manqin and the skeletons cheered happily, and Manqin said “they are going to be the new collection to our kingdom.”.

Hearing that, the princes, the princesses, and Hawk knew they were going to be killed.
