In the council hall were the great King, the Kings, the princes, the princesses, lord Emmanuel, Zussorender, the head wizards, the generals, Hawk, the head guard, and the ministers all standing and dressed in their armors holding their weapons looking sad and anxious about the current situation. Lord Emmanuel and Noah had to help the great King stand so he could talk because the great King was very weak and hurting but he was being strong. The great King said weakly to everyone ''am glad that you all are here. The first thing to do is get everyone to the palace right now. Don't just gather them all here without anything but gather the people with their belongings here. And you should be very fast with it because we don't have much time. As you can see the barrier is getting weaker and that is because am dying, and the barrier will deactivate soon. Am supposed to be dead but the late great Kings gave me the strength to come back and make things right. It is not news that everyone knows am dying but am not going to go down without without fighting till my last breathe. Axrax is lost but we will be able to get the people out of the palace. But first, let's gather the people and the armies here to the palace''.

''Yes, your royal majesty'' said everyone in the hall in a union, and they all left to gather the people and the others except lord Emmanuel, Zussorender, and Noah that waited behind because of the great King.

Noah and lord Emmanel helped the great King sit on the throne then Noah said to his father ''are you really dying father?''.

''Can you please no more questions, for now, I need to rest'' said King Raynold.

Marcelos, Lilia, Ramsay, Zussorader, Philip, and Marcelos' armies were all on their ride awaiting the deactivation of the barrier as they stood in front of the barrier facing the west gate and wall.

It took hours leading to the evening before both the armies (with their weapons), the guards (with their weapons), and the people (with their belongings) gathered in the palace compound to hear the great King's speech. King Raynold and the others stood in front of the people and the soldiers as lord Emmanuel and Noah help the great King stand. King Raynold said to everyone in the palace compound ''You might all be wondering what is it that going on even though everything looks safe but it is no longer safe. Am so grateful to you all for believing in me and trusting in me right from the day I want you all to. But Axrax is no longer safe and I have to keep my promise to protect and save you all which is why you all have to leave Axrax. But am sorry that your sons, fathers, and husbands won't be going with you because they have to protect you all so you can get out of here safely. I want to thank you for everything since I became the great King up to date because that has been the greatest time day of my life. But I can no longer protect you so you all have to leave while I use my last strength to protect you all.''.

The people fall to their knees and bow to King Raynold to show their last respect to the great King as they said to the great King ''thank you for everything, your royal majesty''.

King Raynold said to the people ''you all can now say goodbyes now and after that, you will be led by those who are selected to lead you to the secret library where you will see the way out of Axrax'', just then everyone saw the barrier deactivate and it comes down.

Marcelos, Zussorader, and Philip were happy as they saw the magical barrier deactivate and come down while Lilia and Ramsay nodded at each other. Marcelos face his armies and said out loud to them ''we have waited for a long time for this day to come. We have come a long way and years with difficulties and battles. The day we have waited for is here and this day will be a memory day. Today will be marked as a new chapter for the world and the end of mankind. We rise so high that we will begin a new world and create mankind of ours. Now go out there and kill everything that stands in your way''.

Marcelos' armies cheered happily and then attacked the soldiers at the west gate.

The soldiers, wizards, guards, supreme general, some generals, the Kings, and Zussorender who have family said goodbye to their families while King Raynold and Noah had a chat alone and lord Emmanuel went to get princess Esther's body. King Raynold and Noah sat down alone in the palace compound then King Raynold gave his sword to Noah and said to him "take my sword".

"I don't want to father. Am not worthy enough to wield it or use it" said Noah to his father.

"Immediately you were able to take it out of its sheath means you are worthy enough for the sword because if you aren't, you won't have been able to unsheathed the sword" said King Raynold.

"But it is useless in my hand when I tried to use it to kill Marcelos" said Noah.

"Am still alive, Noah, so the power of the sword will only and always be loyal to me. Once I die the power of the sword will become yours" said King Raynold.

"But I can't do this alone, father. I don't want to lose you or be without you" said Noah, as water filled his eyes.

King Raynold holds Noah's hands and said to him "listen to me, son. I have lived a long, healthy, peaceful, and loving life till now, and this seems to be the end. Am not sad that is the end, son, because I live a life I can be proud of and I lived it without regret. We have different destinies, son, and it seems mine has come to an end. I want you to forget me and live your life as a nobleman. Am putting the lives of Axrians into your hands and you must protect them at all costs. As long as they survive Marcelos will not win and mankind will eventually defeat him. You are no longer a child, Noah, you are now a man with responsibilities. Am so proud to have a son like you. And I trust you will do better".

Water fell from Noah's eyes as he said " No, father, no".

"I believe you, Noah. And you and your friends will do a great job of protecting the people. It was so late before I came to realize this. This is not our story, Noah, but that of you, your brother, Esther, and your friends. We may be part of it but this is your history, Noah. Find Ramsay and returned him to his old self, and tell him am proud of him also and he shouldn't blame himself for anything but he should live his life as a nobleman. I hope my sword serves you well" said King Raynold, and gave his sword to Noah taking Noah's golden sword.

Noah took his father's sword and hugs his father as he cries while King Raynold tells him that it is okay.

Lord Emmanuel returned with the golden bow and arrow carrying unconscious princess Esther on his shoulder. Lord Emmanuel placed princess Esther's body close to Noah's leg making Noah notice his uncle's presence then Noah separated from his father and clean his tear just then the princes, the princesses, Hawk, and Zussorender and his family came to King Raynold, Noah and lord Emmanuel. Everyone smiled as they looked at each other then King Raynold said ''am glad to see everyone's face one more time''.

''We are also glad for the time we spent in Axrax living as a family'' said prince Mike to King Raynold, and they all smiled.

Zussorender said to lord Emmanuel, the princes, Hawk, and the princesses ''my son and wife are now under your protection, so please protect them. And so you know, Gabriel has magic. I only blocked his magic so he won't be able to use it. But the return of Marcelos had me release his magic and he is now a teenager. I have been teaching him his magic but now you know I can't anymore so I need you all to teach him and protect him and his mother''.

''I think that should go to Hawk, the princes, and princesses because I won't be joining them'' said lord Emmanuel.

King Raynold, Zussorender, the princes, Hawk, and the princesses were surprised to hear that. King Raynold asked lord Emmanuel ''what do you mean?''.

''We have come a long way brother and I won't be abandoning you now. I have abandoned you before when I lost my wife but not anymore. I will remain close to you'' said lord Emmanuel to King Raynold.

''But........'' said King Raynold to lord Emmanuel, but was cut short of words as lord Emmanuel cut in saying to him ''I know what you want to say is ''who is going to watch over the princes and the princesses?''. They are no longer kids, brother. They have seen, known, and fought a lot of things at a young age. They will do better on their own and I don't think they need me because they will be having Hawk by their side''.

Lord Emmanuel gave the golden bow and arrow to princess Tracy which she collected as he said to her ''you deserve it, Tracy. I hope it serves you well'', then lord Emmanuel said to the princesses, Hawk, and the princes ''Esther is in your hands now please protect her. We will trust in you so don't let us down. Make sure Marcelos get what he deserves''.

''Yes, we will. With our lives'' said prince Redrick to lord Emmanuel.

Lord Emmanuel said to prince Redrick ''that doesn't mean I gave you my daughter'', and they all smile, just then the head guard came to them holding the Dominion book and his sword.

The head guard bow to everyone upon stopping in front of the great King then King Raynold said with a smile to the head guard ''you have been a loyal friend and servant ever since you became my protector. You have fought alongside me in battles but am about to enter a new chapter of life and I can't take you with me. Am so glad to have you by my side all those years but now I relieve you of your duty. But I have a favor to ask, you are older than all the princes and princesses after Hawk so please help them in whatever they do and guide them when they need guidance. I hope you find someone to love''.

Hearing that made the head guard emotional and he falls to his knees in sadness in front of the great King as water filled his eyes then he said to King Raynold ''I Hemdal, will forever be grateful to your royal majesty and promise to protect the princes and princesses with my life''.

King Raynold smiled and said to the head guard ''Ramsay stole the book in your hand so please make sure you give it to him back''.

''Yes, your royal majesty'' said the head guard.

King Raynold looked at Hawk and said to him ''who would have thought a sworn enemy of the kingdoms will be what will now be protecting the prince, the princesses, and the people of the Kingdoms. If someone has told me a day like this would come I will never agree. You owe us nothing, Hawk. We are the ones that took everything from you but still, you stand beside us and fought alongside us. Nothing is more honorable than that. Am so grateful to you''.

''You took nothing from me, your royal majesty. You did say you will help me find my kind so am glad to tell you my kind are very much alive thanks to Zussorender'' said Hawk to King Raynold.

King Raynold and lord Emmanuel were astounded to hear that. Zussorender said to King Raynold ''Back then, I realize that Hawk might be doing it the wrong way but he was fighting for his home because Axrax and the other kingdoms were once his home and that of his kind. So, I save his kind''.

King Raynold and lord Emmanuel were glad to hear that and King Raynold said to Zussorender ''thank you, Zussorender. You save the future''.

''Since Zussorender save my kind, I think it is best to save his loved one also. Am promising you with life that right from the moment the princes, the princesses, and the people are now my kind and I will protect them with my life. I make sure nothing ever happens to them. Together we will bring down Marcelos, rest assured'' said Hawk to the great King.

''Thank you Hawk'' said King Raynold to Hawk.

King Raynold said to Noah ''am sure you know the golden bow and arrow has a twin which is in the secret library. I want you to give it to the Hemdal''.

''Yes, father'' said Noah.

Zussorender said to the princes, the princesses, Hawk, and the head guard ''We may fall today but you should all know this. Among the people are soldiers and wizards that can be raised and trained''.

''Am gonna miss you all'' said King Raynold, then the head guard stood up and they all hugged.

The ministers were supposed to go with the people, the princes, the princesses, Hawk, and the head guard but they decided to stay behind and fight just then a soldier from the west gate ran into the palace and gave information that the west gate has been breached and that Marcelos and his armies are marching toward the palace, and they also heard the screeching sound made by the phoenixes.

The princes, the princesses, Hawk, the head guard, and the people bow to the great King, the others, and the armies then King Raynold said to them ''I wish you good luck''.

The princes, the princesses, Hawk, the head guard, and the people watched as the great King, the others, and the armies marched out of the palace to face Marcelos' armies giving them time to escape.
