Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi were astounded when they heard Ore-ofe apologize to Blessing because they were not expecting to hear that from her. They were all already surprised and confused when they saw Ore-ofe kneel to them, so they became astounded when they heard Ore-ofe ask for Blessing's forgiveness.
Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi wondered why Ore-ofe was suddenly asking for Blessing's forgiveness which they couldn't seem to comprehend at that moment. It was like they were all dreaming at that moment because it was something none of them could have even had a slight chance to have thought about.
It was something no one could ever think about because for someone to have walked up to Blessing and slapped him very hard in the face in front of his gang means that the person had zero percent fear for Blessing and his gang, which means the person is not even scared of Blessing nor his gang.
Seeing a person who slapped Blessing and does not seem to be afraid of Blessing and his gang come to beg for Blessing's forgiveness for what she did makes Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi confused as it seems too unreal, which made them wondered what was going on.
Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi wonder what it was that suddenly instilled their fear in the heart of Ore-ofe that made her come to beg for forgiveness because they can only think the reason why she came to them was that she was was now afraid, so why the sudden fear?
Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi could also see that everyone's attention was diverted toward them since the whole cafeteria was now silent and watching. Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi also looked in the Grim gang leaders' direction and could see that they were all looking at them and seemed interested in what was going on.
It was like they were all waiting for what was going to happen next now that Ore-ofe had just apologized to Blessing. Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi realize at that moment that they need to handle the situation as soon as possible before it turns into something else and before Klaus or any of the Grim gang leaders decide to interfere.
Blessing wanted to understand what was going on as well as Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi, so Blessing calmly asked Ore-ofe "what are you doing? What is going on?".
Ore-ofe raised her head and looked straight into Blessing's eyes before she said to him "I am only here to apologize for what I did", then Ore-ofe said out loud with a calm voice and a bow "I have realized what I did and that I made a terrible mistake. I am here to ask for your forgiveness and will accept any punishment for my action".
Hearing that only put Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi in an awkward position because they all could see the way everyone was now looking at them. Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi also only got more confused, then Victoria whispered into Blessing's ear "do you have any idea of what is going on?".
"I don't know what the hell is going on. I am just as shocked as you" said Blessing silently to Victoria.
"Then you need to do something so this can end quickly" said Victoria silently to Blessing.
Then Blessing looked at Ore-ofe and said silently to her "what is going on, Ore-ofe? We both know this is not you. This is unlike you. You will never do such a thing, so tell me what is going on?".
Ore-ofe heard and understood Blessing, but she only said with her head that remained bowed to Blessing "Please forgive me".
Hearing that made Blessing angry because the Ore-ofe he knows is a difficult one and would no way come to him to beg for forgiveness so Blessing wants her to stop the pretense and tell him what is truly going on. Blessing also knows there is nothing that can make Ore-ofe fear him or his gang to the extent that she would come to apologize to him, and there is also the fact that he and Victoria are acquainted with Ore-ofe's family, so there is no way they would want the hurt her which ore-ofe knew.
Blessing said in silence with a bit of anger in his voice to Ore-ofe "will you cut the crap and tell me what is truly going on? We both know there is no way you would suddenly come to apologize to me. There is also nothing that can make you fear me so tell me what is going on".
"Why don't you just say out loud that you have forgiven me so that everyone can think whatever it is that they want" said Ore-ofe silently to Blessing, with her looking straight into Blessing's eyes.
Seeing and hearing that made Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi realize that Ore-ofe did not come to them to beg for forgiveness because she was suddenly afraid of them or felt what she did was wrong, and Blessing already knew that. Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi also came to realize that Ore-ofe came to ask for Blessing's forgiveness because of something else they couldn't seem to clarify at that moment.
Blessing smiled at Ore-ofe, and Ore-ofe wondered why he did, but just then Blessing said silently and bluntly to Ore-ofe "I know you coming to beg for forgiveness is you wanting me to help you indirectly without me even knowing, but I think I have just seen through whatever it is you had planned. FYI, there is no way I am doing what you want if you don't tell me the true reason you are here and what is truly going on".
Hearing that made Ore-ofe angry and felt like hitting Blessing in the face, but she had to hold in her anger if she wanted her plan to be successful and for Blessing to help. Ore-ofe said silently to Blessing "Fine. You put me in this mess so I need you to take me out of it, and you are the only one who can take me out of it, so just say you forgive me and let us not cross paths again".
Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi heard what Ore-ofe said, but they didn't seem to understand what she meant by Blessing putting her in the mess that only Blessing could take her out of.
Blessing was quick to understand what Ore-ofe meant by the mess he put her in because he had watched Ore-ofe in the school for a while. Blessing realizes that could have been enough reason for Ore-ofe to come to beg for his forgiveness which might be the only way she could return to her old insignificant life and everyone could stop seeing her for someone she did not wish and want to be.
So Blessing could make Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi understand what Ore-ofe meant by the mess he put her in, Blessing said silently "I don't know what you are talking about. I did not put you in any mess. The situation here is a reverse one because I am the one you put in a mess that I just had to clean up. So you mind shedding light on that?".
Hearing that made Ore-ofe look at Blessing and she was able to detect through Blessing's face that he was lying about not knowing what she was talking about and that added to Ore-ofe's anger. Ore-ofe was so angry that she doesn't know when she said out loud with anger "don't you fucking tell me that..........".
However, Ore-ofe was able to stop herself halfway before she finished her statement because her mind reminded her at that moment of the current situation she was in, then Ore-ofe looked at everyone in the cafeteria to see them all staring at her which might have been because of what she had just said out loud with anger.
Ore-ofe gave a fake smile to everyone even though she knew that meant nothing, and then she looked at Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi to see that they were all surprised when they heard her half-statement because they wondered how someone who came to apologize could talk with anger even though she refrains herself from finishing her statement.
Ore-ofe calmed herself and said calmly and silently to Blessing "can you please just do what I said and let us be done with this?".
Ore-ofe expected a response from Blessing, but Blessing said nothing and just stared at her, and Ore-ofe could interpret that Blessing wanted her to say the mess he put her in. Ore-ofe realizes at that moment that Blessing would not do what she wants so she has no choice but to talk.
Ore-ofe said silently to Blessing "ever since I slapped you in the morning, everyone had just been coming to me to be my friends all because they all see me as some kind of hero or someone brave, which I am not. They have all been making my life uncomfortable so I do not want to be seen as whatever hero no longer. This is the only way to get my life back".
Hearing that made Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi realize what was truly going on, and then Victoria said silently to Ore-ofe "so you came to ask for forgiveness so that everyone can stop seeing you for what they think you are because you don't like that life of being prominent. You want to return to being the insignificant you?".
Ore-ofe nodded her head as a yes to Victoria's question, then Victoria said silently to Ore-ofe "do you know that what you just did won't just return your insignificant life but make everyone see you as a weakling and pathetic person? You will be disliked by everyone not like before when no one cares about you. It won't even be like you exist in the school".
Ore-ofe could have given a response to Victoria's words but Blessing cut in by saying silently to Victoria "that is the kind of life she wants, V. Trust me. I know her more than you do. She wants to live her life like she doesn't exist. She doesn't want anyone around her, which is why forgiving her will get her what she wants".
Then Blessing looked at Ore-ofe and said silently to her "Forgiving you means you get to go back to that insignificant life you so love and want dearly, so I can't do that. I would make you more than the hero they think you are and see you as. You will have more people flocking around you than you could ever imagine because that is the kind of life you should be living. You will be loved and wanted by many, and that is the punishment for slapping me".
Ore-ofe was furious upon hearing that, but she held her anger in so that she could convince Blessing to do what she wanted, but just then she saw Blessing stand up with his gang to leave. Ore-ofe watched as Blessing and his gang began to walk away from her toward the cafeteria entrance door, then she asked herself at that moment if she was gonna give up and let Blessing win.
Blessing, Victoria, Dave, Ayo, Quintin, Jerry, and Yomi had just gotten closer to the cafeteria entrance when they had to stop walking because of Ore-ofe who fell to her knees in front of them and desperately asked for Blessing's forgiveness in her pity way and a pitiful voice.
Ore-ofe was still asking for Blessing's forgiveness when she saw a hand in front of her and a voice said to her "do you need help with anything, pretty?".
Ore-ofe wondered whose hand it was so she traced the hand up and saw that it was Klaus who was smiling at her and also the one who stretched his hand for her to take.
