Ore-ofe's story made Blessing sad and emotional. He was also shocked that Ore-ofe experienced such kind of thing in her life so young because it was one of the greatest pains there is; losing the lives of loved ones whom you have promised to be together with forever.
Blessing was sad about the fact that Ore-ofe lost all her besties to the accident, which made him feel pity for Ore-ofe, and made him much more interested in Ore-ofe. It was something Blessing would have never wished to happen to himself or anyone, so that kind of hurt him even though it wasn’t the one it happened to.
Blessing thought to himself that Ore-ofe’s interesting, fun, and vibrant life must have turned into what it is now after Ore-ofe lost her besties, which kind of made him sad for Ore-ofe. However, Blessing was more interested in knowing the end of the story.
Blessing wants to know what happened after Ore-ofe found out about the death of her besties, and how she moved on. Victoria was also ready to tell Blessing the full story because she wanted Blessing to know everything about Ore-ofe and understand Ore-ofe, which is the only way Blessing can know how to deal and interact with Ore-ofe.
When Ore-ofe woke up in the hospital and regained consciousness opening her eyes, the first thing Ore-ofe saw was her parents who were so glad to see her open her eyes and talk, then Ore-ofe asked what it was that happened to her. Mr. Alex and Mrs. Alex told Ore-ofe that she and her besties were involved in an accident.
Hearing that, the second thing Ore-ofe asked was where her besties were, without her minding her current state or wanting to know of her current state. The doctor had advised Mr. Alex and Mrs. Alex not to break the news of Ore-ofe’s besties to Ore-ofe yet not until Ore-ofe is out of danger because her current state shows that she is still in danger.
The doctor felt that not telling Ore-ofe about her besties’ death was the only way to keep her safe. The doctor thought breaking the news of her besties’ death to Ore-ofe might make her not respond to treatment, put her in danger, make her condition worse, slow her healing process, and make it difficult for her to heal since it was made known to the doctor that Ore-ofe besties were like sisters to her and like parts of her that make her whole.
Mr. Alex and Mrs. Alex reasoned what the doctor said to be right because they knew of the relationship between Ore-ofe and her besties, so they thought it was right that they listen to the doctor's words to protect their daughter and not put her in more danger than she is already.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex decided to lie to Ore-ofe by telling her that her besties were fine, but hospitalized in the same hospital just like her. Hearing that, Ore-ofe was glad that her besties lived, which meant none of them lost their lives to the accident. Just then Ore-ofe heard her parents ask if she was okay.
The question made Ore-ofe conscious of her body, which made her take a comprehensive look at her body with her eyes, and that made her realize the kind of condition she was in. Ore-ofe could see her head, one of her arms, her legs, and her belly all wrapped with bandages.
Not only that, Ore-ofe could see a cervical collar on her neck, her legs hanging off the bed, and could see orthoses worn on each other of her legs. Seeing all that, Ore-ofe came to fully well understand the current situation she was in, which made her worried and have teary eyes before she asked her parents if she was gonna be fine.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex saw how Ore-ofe felt when she realized the kind of situation she was in so they told her that she was gonna be fine with time which the doctor had assured them. Ore-ofe also asked about the current state of her besties and if she could see them.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex told Ore-ofe that she and her besties are in no place to move because her besties are in a similar position as her, but the doctor assured them that they will all be fine with time if they really work on themselves to get better.
Ore-ofe took the words of her parents seriously and heavily which is why she wanted to get well so soon. Ore-ofe parents told her that only when she is fine, out of danger, and returns to her true self will the hospital allow her to see her besties, which is what all parents agreed on.
Ore-ofe took her rehabilitation so seriously that she could always be seen doing everything to get back on her feet to her true and once self no matter the pain and struggle she was passing through because she was excited, expecting, and anticipating to see her besties again. Ore-ofe was eager to see her besties so she wanted to get well so soon, so she and her besties could return to their paused life.
The will of one works with one body and mind is why Ore-ofe's rehabilitation moved so incredibly which surprises the doctors and nurses in the hospital. Her responses to treatment were so fast and incredible that Ore-ofe was quick to be able to walk with her legs using clutches after wheelchair.
The doctors and nurses were surprised that every treatment and thing they were doing for Ore-ofe rehabilitation was working in an incredible and fast way. Her wounds and bruises were all healing so fast that they could not have thought nor was it supposed to be medically not possible.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex were very happy with their daughter's incredible and fast recovery, thinking it was a normal thing until they were told by the doctor in charge of Ore-ofe's health in the hospital, that Ore-ofe's recovery in that short time was supposed to be medically impossible.
The doctor made Mr. and Mrs. Alex realize that Ore-ofe was sure to get well, heal, and recover but not in the short while she did. Mr. and Mrs. Alex were shocked when they heard the timespan of when all wounds and injuries of Ore-ofe were supposed to fully heal which made them come to realize that Ore-ofe's recovery was more than just fast but incredibly fast.
The doctor also made Mr. and Mrs. Alex realize that he thought which is that it was Ore-ofe's will to get so well was why she was able to recover so well and speedily, and that made Ore-ofe's parents wonder what kind of will Ore-ofe has.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex see their daughter and ask her what is that she is anticipating to do after her full recovery, and she gives a quick response, which is that she wants to see her besties and return to their lives so they can continue to have their fun and interesting lives even though they have learned their lesson. Ore-ofe also went on to tell her parents that she can’t wait to do things with her besties.
Hearing all that made Mr. and Mrs Alex realize that the will to see her besties again was the reason for Ore-ofe quick and incredible recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Alex were also worried about how they were going to tell their daughter the truth about her besties and how she was going to feel and take it when she found out the truth.
It was because of her besties that she wanted to get back on her feet and return to her true and once self, so what it is that was going to happen when she found out they did not survive the accident because they died days later……… That troubles Mr. and Mrs. Alex's minds and makes them scared.
Ore-ofe has also tried to look for her besties in the hospital while in a wheelchair but she can’t seem to find them no matter how many times she looks and tries. Not being able to find and see her besties in the hospital made Ore-ofe think that the doctor and her parents must have planned together not to ever make her and her besties meet until they fully recover.
Ore-ofe’s will to see her besties get stronger because she thinks that would be the same for her besties since they will all also want to meet her, which means they will all be pushing to get better quickly in due time so they can be able to see each other.
In just a few months, Ore-ofe was back on her feet. Ore-ofe was able to walk with no clutches, and all her wounds and injuries were all gone. The doctor ran many tests on Ore-ofe after she claimed she was fine and back to her true self, and all the test results said that Ore-ofe was out of danger and all fine.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex made sure that Ore-ofe spent her rehabilitation days in the hospital. They made sure that Ore-ofe was able to walk fine and free of all danger, with her wounds and injuries gone before they agreed that it was time for her to come home.
On the day Ore-ofe was to be discharged so she could follow her parents home, Ore-ofe requested to see her besties, but the doctors told her that she could not, so Ore-ofe asked why since she was all better now.
The doctor told Ore-ofe that she couldn’t see her besties since her besties were not better yet, and then Ore-ofe's parents went on to tell Ore-ofe that it was a miracle that she recovered and get well so soon because it was medically supposed to be impossible.
Ore-ofe looked at the doctor with her eyes asking if what her parents said was true. The doctor showed Ore-ofe a chart of when she was supposed to be fully healed, with the chart containing when all her wounds and injuries were supposed to be fully healed.
Ore-ofe was also surprised when she saw the chat, which made her realize that it was the will that helped her recover so quickly and that might not be the same for her besties, which means the besties will still be in rehabilitation. However, Ore-ofe still pleaded that they should let her see her besties, but the doctor said no since it was a promise that was made to all the parents.
Ore-ofe could have been told the truth at that moment, but the fear her parents had which was that “what is it that the news would turn Ore-ofe into and make her feel”, made them keep the secret from Ore-ofe until later.
Ore-ofe returned home that day with her parents with the hope that she would see her besties again soon, one day.
3 months later, there was still no news about her besties, and that made Ore-ofe got suspicious since whenever Ore-ofe asked her parents about her besties, they always said that her besties were still in rehabilitation but improving in their recovery. If Ore-ofe also asked to see her besties they all said she couldn’t until her besties get fully recovered.
Ore-ofe suspicious made Ore-of secretly go to the same hospital to look for her besties, but that only made her learn the hard truth about her friends.
The doctor felt that they couldn’t keep putting Ore-ofe in the dark and it was better to tell her the truth now so she could deal with it and move on instead of later. So the doctor told Ore-ofe the truth about her besties, which was that they died months ago before she even regained consciousness.
Ore-ofe refuses to believe that are besties are dead so she goes to the home of each of her besties to confirm if what she heard was true or not, and there she learns of their deaths.
