Blessing couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the girl seated in the classroom he attends regularly. Blessing couldn't comprehend how it was possible that he had been attending the same class with the girl all this while and he had never seen or met her, nor did he even have suspicions that she might be the one.

Blessing was so flabbergasted that he found himself short of words as he stared at the girl who was seated on a chair alone in the classroom and next to her was her bookbag on the floor as she stared at a book in front of her on the desk. The girl could be seen leaning her head closer to the book with one of her hands touching her cheek and the other hand on the desk. The girl was also wearing a headset covering her ears.

One would not say that the girl was focused on the book in front of her because she might be listening to something or music through the headset. Or better still, listening to something that makes her feel relaxed or focused on whatever she is going through in the book in front of her.

Looking at the strange girl where she was seated, Blessing came to realize that the reason why he hadn't been able to find the girl all this while looking for her was that the girl knew that he had been looking for her, but she didn't want to be found. Blessing also realizes that the girl had been avoiding him and hiding herself from him so he wouldn't find her.

The girl made herself so insignificant that Blessing wasn't even able to find or notice her even though they attended the same class and school. However, Blessing wondered why the girl was avoiding him and didn't want to be found by him.

Blessing thought to himself that maybe the girl was no longer in need of her books or maybe the girl was ashamed to face him since he is the only one who knows her to be a weakling who always gets bullied is why the girl doesn't want him to meet her or see her.

Blessing had a lot of thoughts before he realized that all he had thoughts were nothing but speculations which meant talking to the girl was the only way to find out why she didn't want to be found and made him look like a fool and crazy to everyone, and she is also the reason there is a distance between him and Victoria.

There the strange girl was; the girl he had been looking all over for, and Blessing felt reluctant to go meet her because the girl didn't even want to be found. All Blessing did at that moment was stare at the girl, contemplating if he should go meet her or not as different thoughts crossed his mind and if he made the right choice not telling Victoria about that girl.

The four girls that came with Blessing saw that Blessing was having a second thought about going to meet the strange girl, then the 1st girl said to Blessing ''don’t tell me that you are having a second thought about going to meet the girl and talk to her after threatening and forcing us to bring you to her?".

Hearing that made Blessing look at the girls and he could their facial expressions saying to him that they were all curious to know what he was going to do, and he wouldn't dare not go meet the girl after the trouble he put them through. Blessing looked away from the four girls and back at the strange girl, and then he made up his mind that he was going to go see the girl and find out what he wanted the answer to.

The four girls watched with curiosity as Blessing walked to the strange girl to know what was going to transpire between Blessing and the strange girl.

There was a vacant chair and desk in front of the girl's desk, and the vacant chair’s back was facing the girl's desk so when Blessing got close to the strange girl, he turned the vacant chair to face the girl, making sure the chair was closer to the girl’s desk before he sat down on the chair.

The strange girl did not notice Blessing even when he was seated on the vacant chair in front of her because she was lost in whatever she was doing, then Blessing had to place the girl's books (which he had been carrying with him every day) on top of the book the girl was focused on to make his presence known to the girl.

Seeing the books that covered the book she was reading, the girl knew that the moment had finally caught up to her since she knew that the books were hers, and the only person who carried around the book was Blessing. Now that the books are in front of her means that Blessing has eventually found her and the cover she had been maintaining had been blown.

The first thing the girl did when she saw the books was take the headset off her ears and place it on the books, and then look around the classroom for who brought Blessing to her because there is no way Blessing would have found her without the help of those who promise her that they will never tell Blessing who she is or help him find her.

The four girls could have been caught by the strange girl but escaped with a tiny bit of chance. The strange girl who was looking around for the four girls in the classroom looked toward the window, but the four girls had to quickly bend down where they stood so the girl wouldn't see them by the classroom window they stood which was how they avoided her sight so she wouldn't know it was them.

Immediately after the four girls escaped the strange girl's sight, the four girls walked away from the classroom in a crouching gait pose so as not to let the girl see even a part of their body.

Blessing watched as the strange girl looked around the classroom, and even when she was done looking around the classroom, she couldn't even look at his face, then Blessing said to her "first, you avoid me and don't want to be found, and now you aren't even looking at me".

Blessing wanted a response from the strange girl, but the girl said nothing to Blessing, then Blessing said to the girl "so you are not also going to talk to me?''.

Then the strange girl said to Blessing "if you know that I don't want to be found then why bother looking for me? You should have let me be. You let go of what doesn't want to be found".

"And that is why I have got this question for you. Why don't you want to be found? Why did you avoid me even though you know how hard I have been trying to get your books back to you?'' Blessing asked the girl.

This time, the girl looked Blessing in the eyes and stood up carrying the bookbag that was next to her, and took only her headset and the book she was reading on the table, leaving out the books Blessing came to return.

Then the girl said looking at his face with a little annoyance in her tone to Blessing ''because I see no reason why you are so obsessed with returning the books of a stranger who clearly doesn't even want the books back. Do you think that makes you a saint or what?...... You want to find me and want a thank you, right? There you got it. Thank you for the books I don't give a fuck about, and sorry for your troubles. Now that you have found me, I think you should focus more on your studies cause I don't want to be the one who makes you fail. And please, I don't know you and you don't know me. Let it be that way".

The girl's gaze was enough to tell Blessing that the girl was angry, but why? Blessing could do nothing but watch as the girl said everything she wanted to say to him before she left him, and all he could do also was watch her leave the classroom with her things except her books that she said not to need any longer which mean Blessing humanitarian act was a waste of his time. Blessing realized that the girl didn't need his help or the books, and from what the girl said, it seemed like he was forcing himself to be generous to her.

Blessing left the classroom with the books, and he was heading to go meet Victoria who is the person he had been avoiding which created distance between them all because of a girl that doesn't even need his help or want back her books. Blessing came to realize he pushed his happiness away for nothing, and now he is going back to Victoria who is the only person he can go to to help him with whatever he is feeling at the moment.

As Blessing walked through the school compound to go meet Victoria who might be in the cafeteria which is also their dining hall, Blessing reminisced on all that the girl said to him which made him realize that the girl was right in one part, and he thought of what kind of emotional state the girl would be in when she was saying those words to him because he could hear how annoyed she is in her voice.

Blessing comes to realize that the girl doesn't want to be found by him because seeing him brings back the bad memories she might have been trying to forget and get out of her mind. So he made a bad choice, and he should have given up on the girl when he couldn't find her.

Blessing also realizes that the girl must have been passing through some mental and emotional issues which might have come from her being bullied multiple times or somewhere else, which is why she sees everyone as the same who wants nothing from her and doesn't want to be good to her because they all wanted to do her wrong in one way or the other. Blessing also thought to himself that it was also the reason the girl didn't socialize and make herself insignificant so she could be alone which is the only way to keep herself safe.

Blessing also went on to think about what the girl's home will be like, wishing her home is better than public places. Blessing wishes her private life was better than her social life which is a mess. However, Blessing realized that his search had come to an end and he had to continue with his true life, away from the one he had been leading a while ago.

Blessing wasn't annoyed by all that the girl said to him, but he felt sad somehow which is not clear to him, and the only one who can help him with that is the love of his life. Blessing thought he was feeling sad for the girl because her life looked sad even though he couldn't conclude that it was the kind of life the girl lived.

Blessing went on to the school cafeteria still holding the books, and as expected he met Victoria and their other friends there. Blessing joined them and they all were surprised to see him. They all wanted to ask Blessing why he left them in the first place, but he made sure they didn't and told them that he was now back and they could all continue with their way of life.

Hearing that, Victoria was glad that Blessing was back to her, and they could continue being who they once were to each other and living the way they used to.
