Blessing was living the best of his life with Victoria ever since he had started living without his mask making his scar visible to everyone. Blessing felt like he was reborn and was given a second chance in life ever since he was living with his scar.

Blessing also didn’t care about what anyone said concerning his scar or face. Some accepted Blessing with his scar and some did not. They said Blessing looks like a demon and he is scary but Blessing chooses not to care about that and just lives his life, deafening his ears to the opinions people have about him concerning his scar.

Blessing had Victoria with him so he thought why should anyone or any words matter to him when he has someone that accepts him for who he is? Someone who makes him smile and happy, someone who would go through any length for him, someone who had agreed to be with him till eternity. With Victoria beside him, Blessing thought he had everything he could ever wish for.

Blessing and Victoria with their friends never end their partying. They have Blessing’s Dad's Atm so there was no way they could ever run out of cash which is what makes them keep partying and living the best life they could. They lived their lives like every day was going to be an end.

At a point, Blessing feels like confessing his feelings to Victoria but he is scared that it might damage their relationship or maybe Victoria might not feel the same way about him and rejected him. Blessing thought Victoria might only love him as her step-niece that he is since Victoria was adopted by his grandparents.

The time Blessing spends with Victoria ever since he took off his mask has made Blessing love Victoria more, and Blessing finds it hard to hide his feelings any longer from Victoria or keep pretending he only loves her as her sister she is to him.

There was no way Blessing could detect if Victoria felt the same way about him because Victoria never changed and she remained the person she had always been ever since he met her. Blessing did remember there was one time he nearly kissed Victoria but he thought that was something else no what he had thought.

Even though Blessing was scared of being rejected which is why he was finding it hard to reveal his true feelings to Victoria, Blessing decided to come up with a way he could reveal his feelings indirectly to Victoria, and he knew Victoria was smart so she would understand him.

The partying that seems like was never going to stop eventually comes to an end when Blessing and Victoria get a letter from Blessing's parents that the both of them should come to see them because they are going on a family vacation which is a trip.

Blessing doesn’t buy the idea of the vacation stuff and isn’t interested in going but Victoria sees that as a chance for Blessing to spend quality time with his family which are his father, mother, and brother.

Victoria and Blessing were seated on their respective bed in their room with both of them busy with their phones so there was silence in the room. Victoria broke the silence when she asked Blessing “so what do you think about the trip with your family?”.

“What trip?” asked Blessing with his eyes still fixed on his phone.

“What do you mean by what trip? Didn’t you read the letter and know where it comes from?” said Victoria confusedly.

“About that, I am not going” said Blessing.

“Why are you not going?” asked Victoria confusedly.

“Nothing. I am not interested in the trip” said Blessing bluntly.

“What do you mean by you are just not interested? This is your family wanting to spend quality time with you” said Victoria confusedly.

“Can you please let not have this conversation and forget about it? You can see I am busy with something” said Blessing.

Hearing that made Victoria annoyed which made Victoria drop her phone on her bed, get out of bed, and go to collect Blessing's phone. Blessing was still pressing his phone when Victoria suddenly took the phone from his hands and that made Blessing wonder what was going on. Blessing said to Victoria “what are you doing?”.

Victoria gave no response to Blessing and went to sit down on her bed then Blessing said to her “what is going on, Vic?”.

“Nothing is going on than we need to talk” said Victoria.

“Talk about what?” asked Blessing with pretense.

“You know what I mean” said Victoria.

Blessing lay on his bed and said “I have told you that I don’t want to have anything to do concerning that, and I don’t want your lecture this time”.

“Then you will have to kill me because me talking to you is the only way you listen to me” said Victoria.

“And I should tell you that that is not going to work this time around. I ain’t changing my mind” said Blessing.

“Listen to me, Blessing. This is the time for you to have quality time with your family. The time to get to know them better and the time for them to truly know who you are. It has been years since you have not been together as a family so this vacation is what can bring you all together. Why do you think they plan this vacation? It isn’t about them but you.

This was all planned for you so you can get closer to your family, and get to know each other all over again. This is also a chance for you to get to meet your brother and forgive him for what he did to you because I know you have him in mind. This is an opportunity presented before you which you don’t want to miss” said Victoria.

“First of all, I never see my brother as someone who wronged me because I know he didn’t do it willingly. This happened by mistake and because he was nothing but a kid then. Second, I don’t care about all you just said about quality time, getting closer, and all that. I am not interested in this trip, Vic” said Blessing.

“You have got to be interested. You can’t tell me you are missing this chance for no reason. What the hell is wrong with you? Why do you have to be difficult concerning every matter?” said Victoria annoyed.

“I am not being difficult, and I don’t see this as a chance or opportunity for me. This vacation is nothing to me which is why I don’t feel like going. I don’t even want to go at all” said Blessing.

“You are going. I would not accept this. You must go and have a nice time with your family. I will also be there with you since we are both invited” said Victoria.

“If you want to go, I am not stopping you. It is your choice but as for me. I am not going anywhere and that is final. So let's forget about this conversation cause it is not gonna work. Can I also have my phone back?” said Blessing.

Victoria gave no response to Blessing but then she dropped Blessing's phone on the bed and stood up. Victoria walked to Blessing on the bed and when she got to him, Victoria suddenly got on top of Blessing on the bed. Blessing was surprised to see Victoria get on top of him so he asked Victoria “what are you doing?”.

Victoria said nothing to Blessing and then moved her face closer to Blessing's face. At that moment, Blessing's heart was racing so fast because he thought Victoria was going to kiss him but then Blessing saw Victoria use her hands to caress his face and then said to him “you know I love you, B, and I would always do everything in your best interest which is why this trip is important so you have to go”.

Hearing that made Blessing burst into laughter and Victoria wondered what was going on and why Blessing laughed. It took a while before Blessing stopped laughing and he said to Victoria “whoever taught you seduction is an amateur and needs to put more work and effort into his/her seduction. Likewise you too because what you just did sucks. It didn’t work so get off me”.

Victoria was annoyed to hear that which made Victoria begin to tickle Blessing, telling him to agree to go on the trip. Blessing was smiling and laughing as he tried to stop Victoria from continuing to tickle him but wasn’t able to.

When Victoria saw that the tickling wasn’t making him agree to go on the trip, Victoria tried to bite Blessing's lips so he would agree but Blessing didn’t allow that.

In the process of trying to bite Blessing's lips, Blessing's lips and Victoria's lips came in contact with each other which made both of them froze at that moment. At the moment that they froze with their lips still in contact with each other, the both of them were also looking into each other eyes.

Blessing and Victoria were in that position for some minutes before Blessing pushed Victoria to his right side and Victoria lay on the bed next to Blessing. There was silence between them for some minutes as they both lay on the bed before Victoria asked Blessing “so for the last time, are you going to go?”.

It took some seconds before Blessing answered Victoria and he said “I think I will go”.
