Adrian and Alexis were immediately surprised and also gasped when they heard the answer given by Serina's ancestors there. What's more, knowing that Alexis will be the reason for Cameron's death. “Y-you mean Cameron died with my blood in his body? D-does that mean I'm going to die with Cameron too because of that?” Alexis slowly asked in her voice that sounded very doubtful there.
Serina quickly shook her head there. "Of course not, Alexis. You and Adrian will find out about it at the right time, Alexis. I certainly can't say all those things to you two. Because it will change the order of the prophecy that I made earlier. Time will keep ticking, and you will be on the right path. Only the two of you can help us psychics to reconcile this world.” Serina mumbled with a small smile right there now.
Adrian looked a little pensive, before finally starting to look back at Serina there. "Should Cameron die? By Alexis as well as me?” He asked slowly. There are a few doubts and worries that Adrian is currently feeling. “A-after all he is my brother. My little brother." Adrian continued muttering.
“You will know about it later, Adrian, Alexis. You two will realize it's about to happen. Until then I can't say anything to you more than this. What Alexis now has to do is further prepare herself to become a real vampire hunter. That symbol has almost filled your arm, Alexis. Ready or not. Sooner or later. You must unite your human soul with the vampire hunter soul that is in your body. Once you are united, there will be no more obstacles to fighting wars." Said Serina who again explained.
Not so long after that, Serina began to close her eyes tightly. She stretched out her palms right towards the top of his crystal that was on the table. Serina's face was pale and began to sweat profusely. Serina's breath that even now sounded very breathless there. A gust of wind began to be felt around the three of them at this time. And that's when, Serina started to open her eyes and blinked her eyelids a few times there. Serina quickly touched the part of her chest that felt tight. “Cough.. cough...” And Serina started to cough.
"Gosh, Serena. Are you alright? Should I get some water for you?” Alexis asked frantically. While holding out her left hand there, Alexis reached out and started gently rubbing Serina's back there.
Hearing this, Serina immediately shook her head. "Not. No need, Alexis. I just feel congested. Whenever my ancestor possessed me, she always left her feelings inside of me. That's all that makes me feel cramped. Cough... no problem... I'm fine. Hufttt...” Serina quickly refused there. Then she began to adjust the roar of her breath again so as not to feel short again. Though of course, Serina did that with a bit of difficulty.
Alexis and Adrian are now starting to look at each other again. The two of them had already received an answer even though there were still some things that weren't too clear for the both of them to understand right now there. “Alexis, Adrian...” Serina started calling out to the two of them.
It quickly made Alexis and Adrian turn their gazes right at Serina in front of them. “There is one thing that my forefathers have not had time to say to the two of you. Especially for Alexis.” Said Serina explaining.
“And what is it about, Serina?” Alexis asked quickly.
“My ancestors said, that you must return to the starting point of your old life before meeting Adrian. Right to a place where your parents keep all the things they have prepared for you to prepare yourself to become the perfect vampire hunter. That's where you'll find things that were specially created just for you. After that, prepare yourself better, Alexis.” Obviously Serina with that serious-sounding facial expression and tone of voice there.
Alexis immediately frowned there quite deeply. “But how can I know what place your ancestor is referring to?”
“A place that only you and your parents know about. You will find something valuable in that place later.”
***
“Alexis, do you really not remember any place that Serina's ancestor was referring to?” Adrian asked when he and Alexis were currently driving their car to leave Serina's house.
Alexis shook her head slowly. "I don't know, Adrian. I don't even remember what place it was. Plus, my parents never even talked about the immortal world. Of course, it will be very difficult to know what place it really is.” Alexis replied with a frown on her forehead that was quite deep there.
Alexis felt dizzy as she tried to remember the places she and her parents used to always go. But she always thought, that it would not be possible to store such things in the place she already imagined right now. And besides, Alexis herself wasn't even sure what that thing meant. Moreover, Alexis couldn't ask again, due to Serina's exhausted condition. So, Alexis couldn't be selfish to ask any deeper questions. As for Adrian, he looked at Alexis a few times with a curious look evident in his eyes right now.
“Alexis, how about we take a look at your old house?” Adrian suddenly.
Alexis looked at Adrian in surprise. "My old house?" He whispered.
Adrian nodded his head as he continued to stare at the street. “Yeah, maybe we can get a clue there. After all, you haven't even discussed anything about your old house either. So, I thought, why don't we just try to go to the house." Adrian answered and explained there.
Alexis turned her gaze back to the street. “I haven't even visited my old house in the last four years. Since the death of my parents, I have felt suffocated and difficult to stay in that house. So, I decided to move into an apartment, and live in a dorm when I was in college. During that time, I never saw, or even entered, my old house." Alexis explained in her voice that sounded hollow right there at this very moment.
Adrian then just fell silent. He never knew if that was the reason why Alexis had never even mentioned or even told him about the old house belonging to Alexis and her parents. Alexis sighed slowly, then turned her head and looked at Adrian for a moment. Alexis had a small smile on her face. "But that's not a problem in the slightest. Then, let's go there together right now. How about that then?" said Alexis there with her voice that sounded cheerful. Alexis didn't want to look sad in front of Adrian right now and there.
“Alexis, I won't force you. If you don't want to come back to that house. Then it’s not a problem. We can find other solutions fo it.” Adrian mumbled in reply in his voice that sounded slowly there now.
Alexis quickly shook her head there. "No problem, Adrian. I want to go there. After all, what you said earlier is also true. If we come to that house, maybe, we can get a clue from there. And again, we can't put this off, Adrian. We are already on the path of the circle of prophecy coming to pass. We started it, so we will finish it too.” Alexis answered optimistically. She tried to convince herself that there must be a clue in her old house.
After hearing this, Adrian turned his head and looked at Alexis for a moment, then smiled. "Okay. Let's go over there then right now." answered Adrian in the end, changing the speed of his car much faster than before.
Alexis looked back at the road in front of her. She looked down at the road the two of them were now passing. “From this area, we have to go north, Adrian. My old house, right near the hills and plantations. It's quite a distance from your castle in the east.” Alexis explained.
"Okay then." Adrian muttered as he steered his car to drive north.
Don't care about the atmosphere around them which is now starting to get late at night. Alexis reassured herself that everything would be fine. And besides that, Alexis continues to pray that she and Adrian will be able to get deeper clues about all things vampire hunters in the objects in her old house.
