Ch. 11Temple of Memories

Between two evils, I will always choose the one I never tried before. The moment I closed my eyes, it was the invasion of my mind about the flower I was holding. The strange net that gradually enveloped fear in my system. The lotus flower symbolizes rising from a dark place into beauty and rebirth, as this is exactly how lotus grows, but in this world. Lotus represents death and evil. Aside from blooming in the middle of the dawn, it can create another chaos. Because, through mud it rises, through water it emerges and through sunlight it blooms in its way. But, the one thing. The goddess of flowers weakness, is the flower herself. The incense of lotus can kill me anytime when I smell or touch it. It has a poisonous scent that will destroy my system. I looked at Ryuu and his teammates who were now all nervous except for Jackson who seemed to be having more fun with the new game that we had to win, for the sake of the flower which is the first ingredient for the cure. "I'll see you on the other side," Ryuu said before going to the middle of the stream. From the depth of it. A strange temple came out that made me frown. Hundreds of daggers surrounded it before it was completely formed and a strange temple emerged from it. A golden new temple with exotic flowers is wrapped around the top of it. Thousand of daggers aim at us, which is the reason we bow down. I was about to release another smoke to make those daggers disappear. When a black smoke enveloped me that caused me to be unable to move my entire body. "What's happening to me!" I shouted, but nothing but a whisper came out of my mouth. I lost my voice as I was at the bottom of that stream, holding the flower while fighting the black smoke. "Defeat me, and you will be free to pick that flower," said a voice from somewhere. A few moments later, the entire bottom of the stream seemed to shine like crystal, hundreds and different types of rocks blocked us and Ryuu. It forms a huge wall, surrounded by a strange magic. In the mist, in the smoke that shrouds me. I closed my eyes and let both palms open and used the air to create a strange smoke. All the plants, flowers moved except for the magical flower in the middle. "Esta Vistum Sheda Gonyazar!" After a while the stone was broken and a strange box appeared there, a paper letter was hanging in it. I quickly approached it and immediately frowned when I read it. A shadow of the past The one in the present Associated fate In the ballet of fireflies Will you be able to realize? I frowned when I read that. When suddenly the temple that was blocked by the wall was now illuminated. I slowly swam towards it and, what I saw was a dagger. There was the answer to the riddle I read in the paper. Fireflies. Shadow of the past. That means only one thing. It was the Shadow Assassin. This is the voice guarding that magical flower, the dagger, the black smoke is from him. It slowly came to my mind. We want to pronounce his name. "Ryuu! Come here, I knew it. I already know the answer to this puzzle and this game." I called him while he was on the other side, nanow wrapped around the roots of the plant that is at the bottom of the stream. I waved my hand and I pointed my finger which was the reason for the smoke to come out. Ryuu got out of the coil and quickly came to me. I sent the dagger flying and after a while it made a strange appearance. Not one but many likenesses, which surround us. "And if you don't answer my name correctly. Each dagger will pierce your heart. Remember that it contains poison that will kill you immediately." The Shadow Assassin laughed at us and immediately disappeared. I thought carefully, from the lotus that was being nurtured at the bottom of the stream. In the strange smoke and temple net under the ocean. It may be related to his name. For every name that is spoken, the reward is life. "We need to have a relationship where each of us needs to work out," I whispered to him while thinking of another name connected to the name Lotus. Shakina. Casindra. Cassandra. Naksu. "Think about it, Ryuu, if you don't want us to be fish here for the rest of our lives," I insisted to him. "I'm thinking, my Luna." He smirked at me for making him suffer. He keeps saying that I'm his lost Luna, even though he knows she's cursed. He's mateless. He's trying to be delusional every time he sees that I'm his Luna. For a while, I thought about what I read in that book. Kunal. In Sanskrit, Kunal means "lotus," or "someone who sees beauty in everything." That's no surprise though, as the beautiful lotus flower stands out in the murkiest of ponds. It was the curse name, that every time a wolf mentions it, it will turn into a flower. Except for the fairy and witch who have protection against the magic wrapped in it. "I don't want to live her in the stream, living like a goddam fish." Ryuu's words made me frown. He opened his mouth and was about to speak when a dagger suddenly moved towards him. I glared at him which caused him to remain silent and the dagger returned to its original position. "Your name is Kunal. It's Kunal, the only name that is forbidden to cast here in stream!" My whole voice echoed under the stream. "Kunal!" Ryuu and I shouted at the same time. After a few moments the wind changed, it seemed to accumulate and create a wave in the middle of the air. "I'm not surprised that you know my name. I expected it, and I know that you have such power that no matter what dagger I use, you will not be able to cut through. Let the wind tell you who Kunal the cursed is ." A voice that seemed to be pulled out from under the ground and a few moments later swallowed us up in a big wave. "Ryuu. This wave has magic. Don't give up!" I shouted at him as I closed my eyes and grabbed his hands. The violent and strong wave that surrounded us finally stopped. And at the same time we close our eyes, we return to the past, to the land of the goddesses where all those present are beautiful and born with power. "It seems like we're going on a trip," he said. "It's not a trip. Lives depend on it, so can you fix it. Let the wind take us with us to wherever the Kanul boy is," I insisted to him. "How could we possibly trust the air, how? That Kanul holds and controls it. Do you think this wind will really take us to him? He pointed to the thin air that was waiting for us. Maybe Ryuu is right. They could only kill that Kanul and me using his air that he sent. I smiled at Ryuu as I thought of a way to not be followed by the wind on our journey. Using black magic, I immediately made many resemblances of Ryuu and me which caused the air to be confused as to who was the real us, and just then two young Goddesses passed in front of us which we used to hide and immediately left in that place. We followed the two Goddesses to a temple where many Goddesses resided there. Others we observed offering food and drinks while others were busy with their activities. In the garden opposite the temple. I noticed a young goddess. It is strange to look at colleagues. There's something strange in her, and the moment her long golden hair swayed. It glistened along with the golden rays of the sun. It had a strange beauty when I first saw it. Ryuu elbowed me causing me to return to my trance and dismiss the beautiful young goddess who was now busy practicing her powers. She's now trying to make a portal using her smoke. Wait. Smoke? I looked around but there were no smoke holding goddesses except that one. And what happened earlier in the middle of the stream spontaneously returned to my mind, a strange smoke and black net color. Could it be her? "I think I found her, Ryuu." I pulled her and immediately followed that Goddess as she ran towards a strange stone house across the river. When I heard the name neto it was the reason that stopped me. "Kunal! Where did you come from? Don't you know that Maestra Matilda has been angry with us for running away from the exam again," said a goddess with black eyes and a strange look. "You're right, Caran. This is Kunal's past. She is a goddess." I didn't notice Ryuu's words when from the sky a group of witches enveloped the Goddess forest at that moment. "Shit. Sorcery again? Even the powerful Goddesses were hit by them," I said to him as I pulled out my dagger from my blood. I have that strangely. That whenever I needed the weapon and I could create a net with my blood, and I took the magical leaf that I saw by my side I mixed it with my blood when I saw a witch that I knew had the power to see of the dead, and traveling souls. "You can't save her. She will be cursed and you can't do anything about it." She laughed wickedly as she pricked her wand on us. I pulled a poisonous arrow and bow, as I pulled it it hit his heart which caused it to fall from his broomstick. And when we looked at the Goddess Kunal, suddenly she was just a black smoke screaming in pain and anguish. "You can't be a full Goddess because it's not for you." The evil witches whom I know who cursed laughed wickedly. "You can be free as soon as a drop of blood falls on your smokea witch and has wolf blood," she added. "In short, you can't be free because no one will be born to have that blood. It's a sin, the greatest sin in our world." They left, as she said those words. A strange smoke enveloped and all the wounded Goddesses were the ones who exposed us. And just as I was about to go it had a strange power pulling us. We're back in the present. A single teardrop fell in my eye. This Kunal had a terrible and tearful past at the hands of the Goddesses. "I need witch and wolf blood. A boy I know who." "Maybe that's you, Caran? You're strange, your family history was not yet revealed in the books of goddess." I didn't pay attention to him and instead I just took my dagger and wordlessly cut my palm. I let it flow through the water and join the air, a few moments later some strange creatures roared. A black smoke appeared to me. It lightens and darkens, the two types of magic are fighting so I'm even more surprised. I blocked my hand so as not to be blinded by it. "What's happening, Caran? What's going on with that smoke? Damn!" Ryuu shouted. And from the temple of memories. A shadow formed again, holding the flower we were looking for. The first ingredient for Ryuu's curse cure. A goddess pulled us up the stream. And from that moment, she opened her eyes. The temple of the memories sparkle as my eyes lay on her lethal appearance. "The Goddess of Memories has returned again carrying her magical flower," I whispered as I heard the howls of the Nirvana Pack.
