Ch. 10Sacred Forest

What happened between me and Ryuu ended and when I learned the truth behind the lamp I was holding, it seemed that I was more determined to help him get rid of his curse. So that he can forget the bad thing that happened to him. We were still in the middle of the forest and continued to walk, when black birds suddenly chirped and flew in the air at the same time. My attention was turned there because of the strange presence that enveloped the forest. "I don't know what's going on. We're in the middle of the forest and it seems like there's no way to go. Are we on the right path?" I couldn't help asking them. They sighed heavily and were about to speak up, when suddenly a raging mist shrouds the whole forest emitting a white smoke before it vanishes in our sight. There was a strange power enveloping the forest at that moment, blocking the way to Safixa. They both howl in the moonlight under the sun. It was still early and the sky was clear, but the moon had appeared. I couldn't help but pick up the lamp and only then did I notice that it had turned on by itself. "We're now at the entrance of the sacred forest," Ryuu said and pointed his sword at the mist. That area was still shrouded in a strange mist. A mesmerizing voice was what we heard from inside that mist. And as soon as Samiel, Fallon and Ryuu heard that they slowly lowered their weapons and voluntarily walked towards that area. Shit. They've been like under a spell or any enchantment. I wasted no time to take off the necklace he gave me, and from that necklace hundreds of gold strands came out and quickly pulled them to replace us. The captain of the guard watched silently as one figure moved through the shadows. Little by little, a dazzling light enveloped the six of us. At the same time a shadow appeared to us. A shadow, the shadow of that forest. "What do you want in my forest? You don't know the violence you did when you entered the opening?" An angelic voice was behind the shadow that echoed throughout the forest at that moment. As the sunlight glistened the light of the mist. "We are only here to cross over to Safixa's kingdom." I bowed to him, but instead of speaking it split the ground which caused me to be separated from my companions. "Fala!" they shouted at the same time when they saw me floating in a thin cloud. A thin cloud like a shadow was in front of us. He slowly made the servant dance which caused me to dance too. It was a dance above the shadows of the clouds, as if there was a power that was forming or memories that were forgotten or he was indicating to me. "What the holy blue fire is happening to me?" I whispered to myself as it begins to change its rhythm. And the moment I closed my eyes, I saw a blurred one. And when I opened my eyes only then did I realize that my spirit had traveled back in time. I just don't know which part of the past I went back to. "We are in the past where the two traitors escape according to the book," said the shadow that I only now noticedwho is by my side. What I saw last night were the two creatures now running away from that forest. I couldn't help but be nervous about the two of them because I noticed the witch holding hands. A baby . . Don't say that the baby is cursed as the book says because of two traitors are his parents? "Where does this lead?" I ask the shadow "Nowhere bad." My eyes widened because of what he said. "How would you know?" He let out a sigh before speaking. "I witnessed how they killed and how the baby disappeared in the middle of the night." I'm stunned and can't move and I don't know why I followed the two creatures who are now both fighting against two races that are forcing them away from their own destiny. "Why don't they be allowed to be together?" I asked the shadow who now smiled because of the series of battles, magic by magic, howl by howl. Murmuring spells in the air and it seems that the entire forest is filled with smoke. It began with a whisper, and more whispers joined it until it was a defiant wave of sound. A murmur chant by some evil witches. And I almost screamed when I saw a gun pointed at me that I knew had a silver bullet that could kill the wolf. This is their weakness, and sometimes their death. I seemed to lose my voice when I saw the wolf lying there and the witch killing every creature that came near her while running towards the wolf—to her beloved. And I especially did not expect what happened next when I saw that a poisonous bow hit his back before he could even get close to his wolf, which caused him to lose his life. "Can we please get out of here? I can't take what I'm seeing anymore! Let's get out of here!" I shouted at him as I noticed a single tear trailed in my cheeks. As I felt something strange in the death of two beings who did nothing but love each other and ignored the ideals and the law of their kingdom. A few moments later I fainted back to the present which was now in Ryuu's hands who was looking at me meekly, who was still able to examine my body. "What did you do to him?" The authority on his voice makes me shiver. The four remained calm in the back now ready for the signal that Ryuu would give them. "I just showed him something from the past, an event he should know about." The shadow form and suddenly make itself a tiny bow and arrow, a strange weapon. And as soon as Ryuu Picked it up that end lit up. "Use that to enter my forest, just be warned there are many strange creatures you can see there." "What creature is that shadow talking about?" I asked them but they didn't answer, because their attention was all in front of us. There is still a strange presence inside that seems to be calling us, or in other words, there is a being waiting for us. I looked at Ryuu who was now also staring at me. I tried to remove my gazed away from him, but he had these pair of golden orbs... too powerful, like it possessed something with undefined hypnotic pull. What's with him? He looked at me strangely in those moments, even beforeWhen I spoke, he immediately released the arrow and it hit the opening of that sacred forest. A few moments later, the lower smoke gradually disappeared, which is the reason that the five of us could immediately enter the net. And since we are in another dimension it is night in that part. I cruelly coughed when a small wind enveloped me. I finally fell to the ground and I couldn't stop my tears from falling. That night turned into dusk, it was really strange in that dimension. Golden light dribbled over the land Iike syrup on oatmeal. The leaves shimmered like a mirror flecked mosaic and the morning drew sparkled on the bejeweled cobwebs and grass. I fainted for a moment when I felt a familiar presence approaching us. Here in the middle of that strange forest shrouded in mysterious magic. "I'm not a fighter, Ryuu. I'm a lover boy, I don't want to die yet," said Jackson on the side who was now holding Blair's shoulder, visiting him because of her trembling. "Shut up, Jackson. You're not helping." Fallon looked at him who was now seriously looking at Samiel with his hands tightly tied to the golden thread. The light glistened and I found myself dropping to my knees and bowed to the strange presence. Almost everyone was surprised because of what I did, but they followed immediately. "It is an honor to see and witness a fairy lost in this forest. What can I serve you, dear Goddess of roses?" It was a woman's voice and from the familiar presence we were gradually shown the creature behind it. My heart almost skipped a beat when I saw that it was the Goddess of Clothes. She was known for being congeniality, and as far as I know. She can manipulate the elements of nature. Guardian of the forest, and can heal any wound. "Savannah?" She nodded to me and slowly hugged me and it seemed like a pity was formed in my system the moment he hugged me. A tight hug, a knowing hug. People who passed that we didn't get along with. The last time I saw him was last Adamus. Adamus is the annual contest among the Goddesses to choose their new roles. Last year, the Goddess of Memories was the new Goddess chosen. That was the last time Savannah and I met because she had chosen a path, and carved her own destiny in the palm of her hand. I didn't know that here, in the middle of my journey, I would actually see him. "Are you the Goddess who guards this forest?" I asked him but he only gave me a smile. "I am. I know what you want here, so come here to the stream first and let yourself bathe in the crystal clear water. I followed what he wanted. We slowly made our way to the stream in the middle of that forest. Crystal-like water and your reflection is visible. I quietly listen to the birds singing in the air, while gently running the crystal-like and cold water of the northern stream on my skin. The forest of lambanas is fresh with fresh water and gifts of nature because of this gift to them, with love and keeping the heart full of joy. When I got tired of playing with the water, I dipped my two feet in the stream and I couldn't stop my desire. The swim andtemporarily forget duty. Ryuu's half-naked body was exposed in front of me. While the four are like children playing in the stream and cold water. He chuckled. "Seeing my half-naked bother you?" My eyes shimmered in shyness when he said that, and I could feel my cheeks blushing now. I just tortured him while continuing to bathe in the stream. A brilliant and simple pendant caught my attention. Because Ryuu's attention was focused on something else, I took that pendant, and as soon as I took that pendant, a strange smoke came from it. I also released a smoke and resisted that smoke, but it seemed that the smoke coming from that pendant was something different and stronger. I dived into it and pulled with all my might but a piece of flower came out of that pendant. The flower now shines because of the glow of the lamp held by Samiel on the shore, and because of the rays of the setting sun. Did I think that a flower that only blooms every dawn is the first ingredient for the cure? I picked it up when a voice prevailed. "That lotus flower is the first ingredient. But, you have to win my game. You are in the sacred forest, and for every pick you make in this place there is a corresponding reward."
