Ch. 23Chapter 23: Agreement

Then Uncle Liam started to read it out loud, "Hi, Magnus! I just want to say that you can live as long as you want and you can die as long as you want," he continued reading my letter and as expected, Magnus ' forehead arched into a frown again. "I'm always here under you and I'm afraid in case I'll grab unusual fruit under you. Kidding! Fine. This is it, it's serious. Even if you don't like me... I don't like you either, what are you? Lucky? Oh, kdding again. All I can say is, just do what you want to do with your life. Will you eat, will you sleep, are you going to poop, will you take a bath, do you go up and down in the bathroom? I will sympathize with you. Whatever it is, I will sympathize with you. Oh now, look at you, you look fluttered!"

Uncle Liam then stopped reading for a moment and looked at Magnus' face, who was currently red and could only look away. I can still clearly see how the veins come out of his neck.

Probably, he didn't like it. He definitely thinks that his personality is full of shamelessness now in front of his uncle who now can't stop himself from laughing. Shocking.

His uncle continued reading again, "I know you are big and hard but I'm telling you, Alpha, I can soften it too."

Uh, Mia. That part sounds like dirty.

"This is the last part. You should always remember that I don't love you but because I have no choice... I love you. Geez. Anyways, I hope your uncle is not bald." When Uncle Liam finished reading it, he rubbed his head and suddenly laughed loudly in front of his nephew.

"She has a good sense of humor, huh. I think when I meet this person, we will get along right away," he laughed at Magnus who did not respond but just looked at me straight the reason why I bit my lower lip.

I probably didn't bring him to harm again, did I? But I brought him the shame now. Damn, Mia. You are losing your points to him!

The next morning, I couldn't take the smile off my face as I walked into the hospital. But I hadn't even passed the nurse's station when I stopped walking when someone started crying, running towards the nurses.

"Help my daughter! Call the physician!" incessantly shouting old lady.

"Yes, madam. Calm down," said one nurse while the other left for a moment to call the physician.

It wasn't long before the physician who was called hurriedly ran with a few nurses and then went straight to a room. I wanted to leave that place but my legs didn't allow me to go to that room.

The old lady is so poor. She seems very tired. But apart from that, my curiosity is eating me again.

I didn't hesitate anymore and went to that place. I didn't go inside and just tried to peek through this door.

"Please! Please! Do everything!" The old lady still cried.

I could not see the patient's face because it was covered by the physician who was saving his life. As I listened to the quick noise of the apparatus, I felt sadness, added to the wailing of the pack family.

Is that what will kill her? I hope not. Just fight, darling, come back to your pack family.

After a few minutes, I felt a sense of relief inside me when I heard the noise coming from the apparatus slowing down along with the reliefs of those inside.

The physician briefly called the old lady who called them and went straight outside to where I was. I immediately adjusted mine to be curious about whatever the physician had to say here.

"Your daughter has been comatose for one month, madam. We were able to save her fifty-fifties but your daughter is having more complications," said the physician, I could hear the seriousness in his voice.

One month in coma? Well—that's a long time.

"What do we have to do?" cried old lady's response.

The physician sighed, "Maybe soon we will have to ask you and decide if we should remove the machines that are only supporting her life with no hope of waking up."

I put the dishes I cooked in a tupperware bag while I was still singing.

When everything was arranged to be brought, I held my own chin. "Is it still necessary to put a card? Oh, not again. I have already given him and maybe someone else might see it again that will end up putting Magnus' handsomeness to shame."

I took the goodies and easily headed out.

I even caught a glimpse of the dark sky that I knew would be filled with light again in just a few hours. This is the right time to show up, early morning. I made sure the food I cooked is still hot, it's time for breakfast.

"Good morning to the most handsome Alpha in the whole werewolf universe!" eyes closed, I said while overwhelmed by how I entered the room assigned to Magnus.

"Why are you here?"

I wasn't even surprised by Magnus' question because I expected it, ever since I was at his packhouse and prepared all my offerings for him. With an ear-to-ear smile, I went to the big table and placed the things there. I don't have time to beat Magnus' plunder of the world's pleasures. I also don't want to spoil my mood because of his crazy mood.

I smiled at his blank face, "You really are wolf. You will ruin the beautiful day by barking some nonsense. Can't you greet me good morning too, beautiful? Geez."

"You made it bad. Bad morning then," he greeted me sarcastically while still folding his arms while sitting and facing me.

Even though the answer was ugly, I still smiled and looked around the glass wall where I could clearly see the beauty of the morning.

"You know? Even if you tell me now that I look like a monkey, frog, or rooster, you can't still ruin my mood."

"Really?"

I nodded, "Really."

"Anyways, I made a decision already," he changed the conversation making me look at him directly.

"Omg," I just blurted out.

"I am accepting the agreement," he seiously said.

"Omg. You're crazy, Magnus. Are you now agreeing to what I want?!" I asked out loud.

"Yes."
