Ch. 11Chapter 11: Escapee

Meanwhile, Artemis cussed in annoyance when a series of dynamite blasts echoed outside. She immediately picked up the telephone and spoke, "What's going on there?!"
"One of the comrades is making fun of the omega wolves, Gamma Artemis," the little boy replied.
Then laughter prevailed on the other line.
Artemis sighed and started turning the ship towards the south. “Dumbass. Make them stop. And tell them, kill all the Sonorous' rogues. They will leave no one, understand?”
"W-What? How about the money?"
"We will get more from their transaction. Just do what I command." Artemis was about to hang up the phone, but she didn't when she heard a loud shout on the other line. "Prince Malbonte, what's going on?" she asked again.
On the other hand, Magnus frowned when he heard strange noises coming from outside. Upon hearing those, his chest heaved loudly and shouted, "SOMEONE ESCAPED!" Then he quickly ran out of the bridge.
He took the stairs down. From where he was, he could clearly see in the distance of the ocean the scattered speedboats and the lone one moving away. He looked at the deck in annoyance. The rogues are gathering, shouting, and even spitting as if the war is about to start.
"All of you, stop!"
The rogues looked at the man who shouted angrily. They were both silent until Magnus, their Alpha Magnus got closer. Prince Malbonte immediately looked down. "Alpha Magnus, I'm sorry. It's all my fault!"
"What?!" The bearded man hit the boy. "Your apology will not bring back that monk, asshole!"
The boy massaged the part that the man hit and pouted. "Actually, it's really your fault. I just looked after the job you left because you were too busy playing with the poor omega wolves."
The bearded man's eyes widened because of his reply. "You—"
"Stop!" Magnus stopped them, the authority can be heard on his tone. "There are so many of you here, but there's no one at least from you thought of chasing that person, huh?"
"We can't chase him anymore, Alpha Magnus," the bearded man explained. "He scattered the rest of the speedboats. You think we'll jump—”
"Then why didn't you do it?" Magnus cut his line which made the others suddenly laugh, especially Prince Malbonte. Magnus looked around seriously. "How many of you did his two eyes see?" They didn't answer and just looked down.
In the group of crying omega wolves, Magnus pointed to one causing her to be immediately brought before him and made to kneel. "Do you know who that person is?" Magnus asked the captive, causing her to tremble even more in fear.
"He is..." She swallowed for a moment. She speaks in another language, so the rogues just frown because they don't understand what she's saying, but not Magnus who could understand and speak in any other languages. "I don't know him!"
Magnus closed his eyes for what he heard.
He was about to hit the man with his fist when he was stopped by a woman's sudden scream.
“HE IS MY FATHER'S BETA!” Mia shouted from behind her tied up with the omega wolves. "Please, Alpha, just don't hurt anyone."
Magnus ears perked up seemingly.
He was only one person but the fact that he was a right-hand man who had escaped darkened Magnus' entire vision. Damn these assholes, Magnus thought.
Magnus calmed down and looked at Mia. His comrade pulled Mia closer to him. Mia was made to kneel in front of Magnus.
"So, you saw how he escaped didn't you?" Magnus asked coldly but Mia just bowed.

Magnus asked again, “Why didn't you alarm my comrades?”
There Mia responded angrily, "He is my childhood bestfriend."
"Tell me who is he then," Magnus asked seriously.
But Mia didn't respond. Mia looked at the omega wolves who were crying pitifully on the side. She could see in the eyes of these women the begging for him to report whoever escaped because they were afraid that what they had experienced would happen again to others.
Mia bowed. "He is Lucas Woods," he replied.
Magnus laughed sarcastically. "And you have secret feelings for him."
There Mia looked at him in shock at what she heard. He was about to ask Magnus how he knew about that when the insulting laughter of the bearded man suddenly prevailed.
"Your slave-mate said, she already loves someone, poor Alpha Magnus," the bearded man laughed for what he just said that made him look a fool for Magnus' eyes.
That's when he stopped laughing on his own when Magnus suddenly faced him and grabbed his clothes with one hand, causing him to scream and stagger as Magnus walked straight until they reached the barrier of the ship. Magnus made the man lie down on it causing him to scream even more.
"Alpha Magnus, get me up!" he shouted, his once arrogant expression had foolishly turned frightened.
In the deep night they can feel the cold air. They were adrift in the middle of the deep ocean. It can also hear the strong splashes of water brought by the big waves. They are equally wet with cold sea water, but no one cares because this is what they are already used to.
When Magnus did not answer him, the man pleaded even more. "Oh, Alpha Magnus! How can you do this to me?! You will still need me in the pack's organization, I will be of great use!"
Magnus chuckled with his dark eyes. "Take a bath now. You smell awful," he responded as he let go of the man who slipped his hands on him.
Everyone heard the man scream until he finally fell from the barrier straight up until he splashed into the sea. They even heard him scream with continuous splashing water as a sign that he was still fighting. Eventually the surroundings became quiet. The size and height of the ship from the water is no joke, so there is no doubt that anyone who falls into it will not be able to survive.
