15 | FAMILY IS FAMILY
“I… I thought, is this really the right time for all of that to be happened soon, Arther?” Kylie asked in her voice that sounded a little bit of like whispering on there right now.
Arther immediately looked so confusedly at Kylie over there directly. "What is that means? I don't quite understand what you already just said about." he muttered immediately.
Kylie took a deep breath. She was even starting to feel a little bit of doubtful about all of the thing that she had to try to explain right on there about right now. "I was just thinking, if I stayed with you in the Blake Light Pack, wouldn't that be too soon to be happened?" Kylie paused for a little moment immediately.
“I mean… I don't even know if your whole family... your whole pack member will like me. I am only just a human, and you... you are werewolves. All of you are the werewolves. You guys are very strong creatures. And a human just like me isn't even comparable to all of you."
"You are strong, Kylie..." Arther immediately interrupted Kylie's words right on there about right now. Arther felt a little bit disapproved of what Kylie already had just said to him about on there.
"No, Arther. I am not strong enough." Kylie immediately answered with a quick shake of her head for a few times on there about directly.
“If only I was really that strong enough… I probably wouldn't be here. Inside of this hospital. With so many of wounds on my whole body.” Kylie smiled a little bit for a moment, but with both of her eyes starting to well up with the tears that starting to well up on there about right now.
“If just only I were a lot more stronger enough... Jack probably wouldn't even have done such a reckless thing like this to me. He would definetely never even dare to do all of that things.”
Arther didn't say anything in the end, and immediately he moved to hug Kylie tightly on there. Arther tightened the hug that he already gave to her, as he started to feel that Kylie's body started to shaking. Like going to cry about right now and there. Arther shook of his head and started giving little kisses right on the top of Kylie's head right on there immediately. For a several times he did rubbed of her back with the palm of his right hand in slowly movement about right now.
“You are a strong woman, Kylie. A man like Jack would never ever deserve a woman like you." Arther said in slowly, as he started to let go of the hug that he gave to Kylie, and cupped Kylie's flushed face like she was holding back of her tears about right now on there.
"And I promise, that after yesterday, Jack won't even dare to appear infront of you once again, Kylie."
Kylie who heard all of this from Arther instantly blinked for a few times both of her eyelids on there in a fast motion. Kylie even started to looking straight at the Arther with a look of disbelief in her eyes.
“Arther… what did you do to Jack?” Kylie asked in that whispering tone of her voice about right now on there.
Arther didn't immediately answer the question that Kylie had just said on there right now. Arther started to switch to rubbing the side of Kylie's face in slow motions on there right now.
“Something that isn't even too bad for me to be able to do at all about.” Arther muttered in a sentence that was quite ambiguous. It's hard to understand all of that things.
Kylie immediately grabbed both of Arther's palms by using them on there. Kylie even brought their hands together right in front of her heart. Kylie's breath suddenly felt very tight about, and her thoughts were right now starting to fill with the many of possibilities that Arther would or even have done for Jack.
Given, Kylie has now been right in the hospital for three days. And that meant three days ago, whatever Arther had done to Jack, or even to Kylie's stepfamily.
“Arther, p-please… please tell me. W - what have you done to Jack? D - did you hurt him? Did you hurt Jack and mom and Aubrey?” Kylie asked in her trembling voice over there about right now.
Arther looked straight at Kylie. Of course Arther hurt Jack. It was something that Arther needed to do about and was required to do at all of that.
Arther didn't even need anyone's permission to do all that to the people who deserved it. And of course that also includes people who have hurt Kylie physically and mentally.
"I'm just doing the things that I really need to be able to do, Kylie. And if what you are afraid of is hurting Jack. Then I will say yes. I hurt that man." he said.
“B - but why? What did you do to him?” Kylie asked at once.
"Why? That man has hurt you, Kylie. And you ask why did I hurt him? It's all because that guy hurt you so badly that you are in the hospital like he is right now, Kylie. And what I'm doing doesn't even compare in the slightest to what he's done to you, Kylie. Jack, he even deserves to be out of this world alive."
Kylie immediately widened her both of eyes on there about right now. Kylie was a little bit scared by the tone of voice Arther gave her when she said all these things to herself.
What's more, when Kylie looked right at Arther's eyes which had turned metallic for a several times, but returned to their normal color immediately. Kylie was shaking, even starting to feel her palms wet from sweat.
“I - I… Jack might have been at fault for making me like this. It's just that by hurting him, it looks the same, Arther. I mean, Jack has always been bugging me, and trying to do a lot of things to make me his for over the years. But after all, Jack is my step brother. Stella is still my step mother, and so is Aubrey, she is my step sister. After all, the four of us are still a family.” Kylie was silent for a moment, then took a deep breath immediately right now.
“I may not have felt the true meaning of a family in a very long time. Living and living with the three of them in the same house, it just felt the same as living without interacting like a true family. I worked alone every night and for many years I paid for my education and all my own needs. But only the three of them I have so far. And it's so hard enough just to let them get hurt. They might as well have hurt me enough. But, they are my family. And family is just still a family.” Kylie explained everything in the end.
Arther, who was listening to all of this, suddenly gasped. How could that be? Arther thought to himself wondering at the end there it was. Arther couldn't understand how Kylie could still be kind to the person who had hurt her over the years about.
Someone who even belongs to Kylie's family. Arther and Arlo simultaneously couldn't even understand how Kylie could still think of people like that as her family. But of course, Arther couldn't directly tell all of these things to Kylie. Arther didn't want to make Kylie feel sad and depressed either.
“I see...” Arther whispered at last. Becuase he doesn’t even know what will he say again.
And once again, Arther didn't want to make Kylie feel that much worse let alone keep thinking about all of these people. As for Kylie, she was even more silent when she felt how hard thoughts Arther currently had about her words on there earlier.
“I know… it might be very difficult to understand me at all, Arther. So do I. But I will try to understand you, Arther. I will strive for it too.” Kylie muttered with a small smile on her face immediately.
Arther, who heard all of this, immediately had a wide smile on his face. Then slowly, Arther brought his face close to Kylie's, and gave a soft kiss on the lips.
Likewise with Kylie who is also slowly starting to return the kiss that Arther gave to her there. Kylie rubbed Arther's face with her right palm gently there.
"Oh my..." Kylie whispered as Arther began to deepen their kiss right there now. Kylie's left palm moved to grip Arther's shirt very tightly.

"Good grief!" Someone shouted in the room that immediately stopped the kiss that occurred between the two of them.
Kylie and Arther simultaneously turned their heads and looked right at a middle - aged female nurse who came into Kylie's room on there while carrying a tray to change all of the bandages in Kylie’s body about right now. Which immediately made Kylie's face turn red and she began to avert her eyes. But Arther, he immediately gave a small smile because of that.
“S - sorry… but it's about time the patient changed her bandage right now.” Said the middle - aged female nurse as she walked closer to where Kylie and Arther were right now.
"Of course." Arther nodded his head then started walking towards the sofa in the room, and sat on there directly. Arther was looking right at Kylie over there.
Kylie herself felt a little bit of embarrassed because all of it. After all she had just been caught kissing Arther by a nurse at the hospital. Things that Kylie could never even think of all this time. Especially when Kylie began to notice the stares given by the middle - aged female nurse who seemed to be teasing Kylie right there right now.
And Kylie is getting more and more sure of herself if at this moment her face must have looked really red on there about right now. Kylie is also so much speechless about right now. And again, when Kylie glanced right at Arther who was still smiling there, it immediately made Kylie feel even more embarrassed right now.
"Put your arm up first..." the middle - aged nurse mumbled over there giving Kylie an instruction.
And immediately, Kylie started to lift her right arm a little higher, and let the nurse begin to remove the old bandage that was wrapped around her arm and replace it with the new bandage right there.
After finishing changing the bandage on Kylie's arm, the nurse then began to slightly lower Kylie's top clothes to reveal Kylie's exposed shoulders. There was a bruise that was quite wide and it still looked purplish red on there about right now.
Then after that, the middle - aged female nurse began to take cotton and alcohol to clean the bruises. When she finished, don't forget the nurse also helped by applying a special ointment for the bruises on there in slowly movement about.
Kylie for a few times grimaced in pain when she felt the alcohol and ointment touch of her bruises on there right now. Kylie even closed her eyelids tightly because of that. As for Arther, he felt his quiver again when he saw Kylie's open shoulders on there.
'This isn't even the right time to think about all of that.' Arther said to Arlo in the mindlink that was going on between the two of them there.
'Yes - yes. You always say that things, just like a before about. But we both know this already, Arther.' Arlo replied with his ragged breath right on there about right now.
'Wait, what do you mean about?' Arther slightly frowned and began to feel confused about the direction of the conversation that Arlo was referring to in the mindlink.
'You are an Alpha. And I am a wolf soul. How can I know so much more things than you myself?' replied Arlo in a tone of voice that sounded embarrassed and also slightly mocked Arther there now.
'Hey! I'm just confused about what you want to say. And don't tell me I'm stupid. You old wolf soul!' said Arther who felt disapproved.
'Humph. All right - all right.” Arlo sighed and relented.
However Arther's words had a point, if Arlo - he was just an old wolf soul. But that doesn't mean he's a weak wolf soul. Arlo is so strong that in the end it is sometimes very difficult to beat.
'So what did you really want to say just now?' Arther asked again.
'Kylie is our mate. And we have already marked Kylie. However, our matting process is not even perfect yet. We haven't done any knots with Kylie. One more month is the red full moon. Which will usually be a month full of heat and knots between werewoves and their mate. So how do we get Kylie to understand if we need to do all of that things to perfect our matting with her about?'
