"Just laughed out loud, rather than get farted for holding back your laughter," I said to him and crossed my arms in front of him.

"Okay, I'm not going to laugh anymore." He said and his expression became serious but I knew deep inside he wanted to laugh.

"I have a question. You never mentioned to me that there was a woman you loved so much, to the point that you obeyed everything she wanted? Who is that?” I suddenly asked him because there was a woman he had told me about before, but now he doesn't seem to have mentioned it.

“Tsk. Just ask anything but not that one." He answered me coldly so my right eyebrow rose before I gave him a surprised look.

"Why do you seem angry? Don't tell me you still love her? so why are you interested in me? Am I just your rebound girl?!” I asked pretending to be angry, his eyes suddenly softened, I wanted to say that it was just a joke but I enjoyed watching his reaction, I kept my eyes on him seriously so he wouldn't notice that I was just joking.

"N-no... don't think like that, you've never been just a rebound... when I say I love you, I mean it, I love you, so don't say that you're just a rebound because even if the world turns upside down, that won't happen .” Because of what he said, my heart beat suddenly faster than I knew, I just shook because I couldn't fall for him just like that.

"Yes, don't be too defensive, I'm just joking." I pretended to laugh and drank the espresso, and I closed my eyes because it was still hot.

"That's not water for you to drink straight." He said and leaned back in his seat before crossing his arms and looking at me carefully, which is why I was a bit lost in his voice.

"Can we go now?" I asked him softly before looking away and pretending to look around.

“If that's what you want, then let's leave. I'll take you home to relax, but I'm not going to let your son and daughter see me. I'll see them the following day to surprise them. Don't let them know that I'm surprising them, baby." I blushed at his last words, I'm not used to him always calling me with that endearment.

“Okay,” I said and stood up before going out first so that he wouldn't notice the blush on my cheeks, I immediately got into his car and fastened the seatbelt on my body before leaning against the car window. I felt that he was already on board before driving.

"Hey? Are you mad?" He asked and held my hand so I turned to look at him, he was still looking at the road and kissing the back of my hand.

"No, I'm not," I said and looked at him, after all, he is very smart and handsome, not only that but also rich and chased by women. But even so, I only feel for him as a friend. I just looked away from him and looked outside the car. I still felt him placing a kiss on the back of my palm but I just let him because it was his pleasure.

I fell asleep earlier while looking outside and didn't realize that we were in front of my Mom's house here in the states.

I looked at Lux and I was surprised because he was looking at me.

"We're already here, why didn't you wake me up?" I asked him as I unbuckled my seatbelt before looking back at him.

"You look beautiful when you sleep like an angel that God sent down to earth to be my wife." It was not in his own words so I immediately flicked his forehead so he went back into a trance.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him laughing because I knew he was imagining again.

"Huh? Did I say something?" He pretended to ask but I just shook my head before smiling sweetly at him.

"Thank you for the ride." I smiled at him and happily kissed him on the cheek before getting out of his car. I saw that he was dumbfounded, so I thought about something.

“Be careful on the trip!” I screamed and closed his car door with all my might and ran into the house because I knew he was going to scream again.

When I entered the house, my three-year-old princess immediately saw me.

"Mommmmmy!” She screamed while sitting so I immediately went to her and kissed her whole face and pinched both of her cheeks because they were so soft.

"My princess, do you miss mommy?" I asked her and I immediately held her and sat on the sofa, before hugging her tightly in my arms.

"Yes, mommy." She said happily.

"Tsk, it's like you haven't seen her in ten years," Percy said annoyed that he was also sitting on the sofa, I didn't even pay attention earlier because my attention was focused on my baby princess.

"Percy son, were you sitting earlier?" I asked.

"No mom, I just sat here, I didn't see how happy you were to kiss Fiorenza in the whole face." He said sarcastically and rudely so I just smiled because of what he said.

"Ayiieee are you jealous? Come let me kiss your handsome face too." I said he glare at me before leaving, I know he doesn't want me to do that to him.

"Princess, your brother is a killjoy," I said and played with her.

"Baby, where're your grandparents?" I asked her, and I saw how she faced me lying on my lap and hugging me.

"They are in the garden, mommy." She said softly and I just felt the weight of her breath as a sign that she was asleep, I just stood up while she was in my arms before slowly going upstairs to take her to my room.

I always put it next to the bed, because I don't want her to be alone in the room that mom made and dad, I don’t want her to be separated from me.

When I got to the front of my room, I immediately opened it and laid her down on my soft bed before covering her with a blanket and kissing her forehead, I immediately took off my clothes and went to the bathroom before taking a half bath.

Minutes passed and I finished before I left the bathroom and went to my walk-in closet and looked for my nighties to sleep in. After that, I didn't take care of my skin anymore and immediately lay down next to my daughter. Before hugging her tightly, I felt relieved and all my tiredness seemed to disappear before my princess fell asleep cuddled in my arms.

In the morning I woke up feeling something jumping on the bed and I knew it was Fia so I immediately opened my eyes and saw her jumping happily.

"Mommy wake up!" She screamed as she jumped up and down, so I immediately got up and pulled her down before tickling and kissing her little neck.

"Hahahahaha m-mommy stop it!" She said tickling and laughing that's why I stopped before standing up.

"Come and let's brush our teeth," I said so she stood up before I carried her to the bathroom, we didn't spend much time in the bathroom and we immediately went out and I changed my clothes before we went down to the kitchen.

When we got down, we immediately went to the kitchen and they were all ready. I saw Percy frowning in his chair, Fia and I came to him first and we both kissed his cheek which made him frown even more. I picked up Fia first and signaled her to give her grandparents a good morning kiss.

"Good morning grandma and grandpa!" She shouted happily and gave dad and mom a kiss on each cheek.

"Good morning to our little princess." Dad and mom said happily at the same time, immediately sitting next to me at Fia, I just feed her while eating because she couldn't reach the table because of her small size.

"So, Mia, when do you plan to return to the Philippines?" Mom asked.

"Mom, that's not in my mind yet, we might stay here for the rest of our lives, but let's be aware that I will have a project in the Philippines." I just said nothing and Fia tried to eat.

"That's not possible, Crizia will graduate next week so you can't be gone," Mom said, I just remembered that Crizia's graduation is in college next week.

"We're going to Crizia's graduation, but we'll be right back here," I said.

"It should be because she would be really upset when she won’t see you, especially when she didn't see her cute nieces," Dad said while sipping his coffee.

"As for you, Ethan, maybe you're forgetting that we’re married? Didn't I say that replace your flirtatious secretary but you haven't done it until now!" Mom said annoyed.

"Hon, don't worry, I'll replace her right away before we go back to the Philippines," Dad said softly to mom, so I was shaken by how sweet they both are to this day, it's a good thing we haven't been caught here yet.

"Mom, dad, it's rude to look at how old you are, but you're still not tired of being sweet to each other," I said as I’m feeding Fia.

"That's the way it is, child, even corny sweets come out of your mouth, you'll do it to make the one you love very happy in this world, remember, child, we only pass through this world once, so if you want to do something to make them happy you do it first while you still have a lot of time in this world," Dad said.

It was only then that I realized that everything dad said was true.

"I know dad, that's why I'm doing everything to give my son and daughter a good life, and I'm happy to be with you for a long time," I promised them with a smile.
