Ch. 7Chapter 6

"Welcome to our store Mr Cooper. We are happy to have you here. This way...." He directed Justin and Freya to a long hallway walking ahead.

Few steps ahead they were in front of various display pieces in eye catching dazzling designs of engagement and wedding rings. Freya's eyes fell on a Jade stone surrounded with small diamonds.

"It's beautiful..." Justin said soft from besides startling her. Freya was puzzled on his vision of perceiving things around him "Can you get me that ring?" He pointed Freya's choice to the manager.

The ring looked perfect on her finger with exact size as if it was tailor made for her. It matched the color of her eyes that reflected in the light with the stone.

Justin immediately signed a cheque and bought the ring before even Freya could object to the price. "This is just a contract marriage. You need not have to spend so much for the ring." She spoke meekly.

Justin's fingers clenched as soon as he heard her words. Never would she forget to remind him their marriage was only a contract.

"You need not suggest me on what to do and what not to do." He slunged his words making Freya flinch with the brittleness in his voice.

Next they walked to the necklace wing and Justin kept trying the necklaces one after the other upon her. His fingers fraily brushed on her neck to put the necklace inviting goosebumps in her.

Was she slowly falling for him?Who was this man and why was he interested so much in her?

After two years everything will become history between them. They wouldn't see each other's faces and probably also forget one another. Freya tried to calm the adrenaline injected in her by his titillating touch.

With his romantic guestures and actions the complete floor's employees and guests were looking at them. Of course Justin cared for none but it wasn't the same for Freya. Her body went sizzled and she tries to casually brush her arms before Justin could see protruding skin pores but what she didn't know was nothing goes unnoticed out of Justin's vision.

To quieten her trumpeted emotions Freya asks. "Do we require so much of publicity and wastage of money for a contract marriage?" Freya did not know in the moment of silencing her luscious emotions she had made a blunder move.

Justin had a sharp tick on his jaw. Why does she have to bring the stupid contract every time between them? Can't she forget about it even for a few minutes? The very intonation of the word sent him to a fueling. "Shut up and do as what I say." He ground the words to her like an arrogant trump.

By the time they finished the necklace and ring shopping it was already lunch time. Freya was unusually quiet and Justin knew he was the reason for it. He tried to initiate a conversation but got answers only in monosyllables.

"Damn it" Justin pushed Freya inside the car and closed the door so that nobody could see them. His face was burning red as he shook with anger. "Fuck! Why don't you understand I lo..." He stopped suddenly holding her neck so tight that it choked the air out of her body.

Freya coughed restless trying to get away from the grip of Justin. When she thought she was about to die he released her. "Never try to bring the word 'contract' in front of me. When the time happens I will set you free. You need not remind me of it every moment." He snapped upon her and unlocked the door.

Freya rushed out of the car pulsating and drew a long breath to fill her lungs. Few seconds ago she thought she was in love but it was just a meaningless infatuation. How can she fall in love with the brutality of such a deadly monster? Freya went in a panick taking a soft sniff.

"Stop crying." Justin growled low beside her and pulled them into another fancy restaurent for lunch. Sipping wine he observes the darkened features of Freya. She was beautiful and arresting. He has no idea why he went attracted to her but he knew he wasn't going to get enough of her for a very long time.

To the world he is a brutal beast but very few know he can turn out to be as soft as a cotton if given love. Will Freya be able to tame the devil with the course of her love?

After they finished lunch Freya had to go with Justin to buy her engagement dress. She was really tired by then. But she knew she had no option either? Could she dare to object Justin Cooper?

Like a walking model she kept displaying the dresses one by one to Justin but he wasn't satisfied with any of them. Finally when Freya thought she was about to pass off, a green colored dress matching her eye colour and her engagement ring attracted Justin and his eyes brightened.

Freya breathed an air of relief. Finally there was something in the store which could win his heart.

By the time they reached home it was already dark. Justin dropped Freya at the entrance of her house and she did not take a second to turn around before scurrying to their entrance.

"Should I remind you of something you are missing every time sweetheart?" He asked her hinting annoyance. Freya turned back in mist and managed to kiss his cheek like before but this time Justin did not look satisfied. "What did I tell you the previous time?"

He pulled Freya into his arms, angled her head and gave a long passionate and a drugging kiss. Freya felt out of breath as she panted softly pulling her away. Justin gave her merely a second to recollect herself and then brought her again in his arms. This time the kiss was hard and fast like a hungry predator.
