Ch. 11Part 11

After the incident, Natalie and Hans officially began a secret relationship, keeping it hidden from everyone.

Hans started coming to Natalie's boutique more frequently because it was safer than Natalie coming to him.

Maria was unaware of this; Hans was skilled at concealing his actions. In fact, Hans even started buying a new phone specifically to contact Natalie.

Days passed, and Hans and Natalie met more often. One day, they were in Natalie's private room, closed off from anyone else.

Hans began to flirt with Natalie, saying, "Today you look so beautiful," while gently caressing Natalie's black hair. Natalie blushed at Hans's words.

They were sitting on the sofa in Natalie's room, and Hans started admiring Natalie's mini skirt, revealing clean and soft thighs.

Hans was eager to taste Natalie and attempted to kiss her, but before he could, someone entered the boutique. The sound of the doorbell indicated that someone had opened the door.

Both Hans and Natalie were startled and immediately abandoned their intimate intentions.

Natalie hurriedly left the room to welcome the new customer. "Welcome, please," she greeted with a sweet smile.

A tall and sturdy man smiled at Natalie. "Um, can you help me find a gift for my girlfriend? I'm a bit confused," he said.

Hans was shocked to see the person before him. "E-Evan," he stammered.

"Hans? Wow, what are you doing here?" Evan asked.

"Uh, I-I'm just looking for some clothes for Maria, you know she loves hoarding clothes, ha ha ha," Hans quickly came up with a plausible excuse to deceive Evan.

"Ohhh really? Well, spoil Maria, Hans; she's tired of designing clothes for others," Evan replied without showing any suspicion towards Hans.

"Ha ha, yes, of course. Ah, alright, I'll choose quickly because lunchtime is ending," said Hans, leaving Evan and Natalie.

"Thank you," Natalie said to Evan.

After selecting some clothes, Hans left Natalie's boutique.

"I'll contact you again later," Hans sent a text to Natalie, but Natalie just read it.

In Natalie's room,

"Huh, I don't know what would have happened if you didn't come, Evan," Natalie said, revealing that she knew Evan.

"It's okay. You should have contacted me earlier. Luckily, I was hanging out in the nearby cafeteria," Evan replied, feeling a bit relieved.

"So, what's your next plan?" Evan asked Natalie.

"Of course, to destroy his marriage, for Jessie," Natalie said with an angry expression.

(Flashback to Jandee family party, episode 7)

"Hello, Mr. Mac, welcome! Wow, you brought your beautiful daughter here, ha ha ha," Mr. Jandee greeted Mr. Mac.

"Of course, Jandee, just look at me. People won't believe how old I am, ha ha ha," Mr. Mac boasted.

"Ha ha ha, your sense of humor hasn't changed. Oh, this is Evan, my son," Mr. Jandee introduced his only son.

"Hello, Mr. Mac," Evan greeted while shaking hands with Mr. Mac.

"Yeah, yeah, how did you get such a handsome face, Evan? You're so different from your father, ha ha ha," Mr. Mac joked with Mr. Jandee.

"Eehhhh! Mr. Mac, isn't there someone here as my helper?" Mrs. Jandee replied, smiling.

"Ha ha ha, you two are attacking me," Mr. Jandee laughed heartily at the banter from Mr. Mac.

"Oh, Natalie, why don't you introduce yourselves? This is Evan, look at my beautiful daughter, introduce yourself, dear!" Mr. Mac instructed Natalie, who had been smiling at the antics of the parents.

"Ah, yes, um, my name is Natalie," Natalie said, extending her hand to Evan.

"I'm Evan," Evan responded, shaking Natalie's hand warmly.

"Ehhh, look at how well they get along," Mrs. Jandee commented.

"Ma'am, if you want to advance your business, just contact me, but not my beloved daughter, ha ha ha," Mr. Mac joked again, not being serious.

"Mr. Mac always jokes. Evan, take Natalie around the yard, so these parents can stay with us," Mr. Jandee instructed Evan to accompany Natalie.

(Flashback off)

At Jessie's residence,

"Darling, I feel like meeting Natalie, Mr. Mac's daughter," Mrs. Julliant said with a melancholic expression.

"Hmm, I also want to, but we don't have a reason to visit Mr. Mac's house," Mr. Julliant replied.

"You're right, their faces are so similar; I can hardly find the difference," Mrs. Julliant sighed heavily.

"Darling, don't worry; I will find a way for us to meet her. After all, our daughter-in-law knows Mr. Mac," Mr. Julliant reassured his wife.

Jessie's sister, who overheard her father's words, couldn't accept the term daughter-in-law still associated with Hans.

"Ex-son-in-law!" Sarah exclaimed, turning away.

"Sarah, why do you hate Hans so much? All of this is God's will. Remember when Hans was so devastated; he cried and didn't want to continue his life?" Mr. Julliant, who strongly believed in Hans, asked.

"But dad, all of this seems unbelievable. Jessie died suddenly, her body wasn't found, and what's even stranger is that Hans married his secretary exactly two years after Jessie's death! Is that what you call not wanting to move on?" Sarah expressed her suspicions about Hans once again.

"Sarah, calm down. Why are you yelling at your father?" Mrs. Julliant comforted her daughter.

"I can't understand how Dad is so trusting of Hans. I'm sure he and his secretary have been having a secret relationship all this time. If not, how could a secretary take care of her boss, even in his own house? This isn't a drama, Dad! Wake up!" Sarah said, leaving her parents in the backyard.

"Forgive Sarah, dear. She just can't accept that her beloved sister left her," Mrs. Julliant comforted her husband.

"Yeah, I know that. Let's be patient together," Mr. Julliant said, hugging his wife.
