Areum moaned softly and held her throbbing head in pain. Areum then got up from her sleeping position and wandered around.

"Why are you already in the apartment? Who brought me here?" mumbled Areum in confusion.

Before her confusion was gone, the door to her room opened, and Saga entered with a tray. Areum got up and was about to get off the bed.

"No need to get down! Your head must be hurting right now."

Areum stopped her movement and looked at Saga closely. Hearing Saga's tone already showed that her husband was angry right now. But because of what?

"Eat this! Then take that painkiller!" Saga said coldly and placed a tray with a bowl of porridge and a glass of water on the table, complete with a headache painkiller.

Areum did not immediately obey Saga's will; instead, she stared intently at Saga. Seeing Areum not responding, Saga looked at Areum now.
"Why are you silent and just looking at me?" asked Saga.

"Why are you still bothering to make me food? Why not just let me starve, get a headache and all," said Areum.

Saga was silent hearing Areum's words, and he knew why his wife said this. Areum must still be angry and disappointed from her earlier conversation with her lawyer.

"Am I not allowed to take care of you already? Is that so?"

"Then why bother taking care of me? We're just a fake husband and wife, after all."
Areum turned her face away after saying that, as she couldn't hold back her tears now.

"So that's why you can go home with my brother drunk? You want to part with me now. Is that so?" said Saga coldly.

Areum looked back at Saga, her eyes already wet with tears. Why could Saga talk like this now?

"Why me? Aren't you the one who wanted to break up with me? Aren't you the one who asked me to get a contract marriage and prepared everything for our divorce? Then why are you blaming me now?"

Areum was covering her face now. Areum was sobbing like she had just lost something. Saga was a little surprised by Areum's response. Seeing Areum crying like this, she must be really sad and hurt.

Saga was cold to Areum and jealous because Areum came home with Tae Jun at almost midnight. In her unconscious state, Saga had already prepared all their divorce documents. But Saga couldn't lie that she was very heavy about letting Areum go.

Saga sighed heavily and then pulled Areum into her arms.
"Stop crying already!"

Areum did not obey Saga's words, and she cried while wrapping her arms around Saga's waist.

"Areum, shut up! You'll get a headache later," Saga coaxed.

"Let it go! I want to cry. Even if I could, I would rather just die and not come back to life. If, in the end, I'm still going to part with you," Areum said brokenly from crying.

Saga frowned at Areum's words. She released her hug and looked at Areum, who was also looking at her now.
"What do you mean?" asked Saga.

"I don't want us to separate. I want to be your real wife. Why don't you understand my feelings? Am I too unworthy for you, so you still choose to divorce me?" said Areum, finally expressing her wish.

"I love you, Saga. I don't want to separate," Areum continued, crying even harder.

Saga was silent, hearing Areum's words. She then looked at Areum, who was looking down now. Her lips showed a faint smile, and then pulled Areum back into her arms. Saga sighed and rubbed Areum's head gently.

"Why are you telling me now?" Saga asked.

"Because you don't love me. That's why I told you."

"Then, why tell me now?"

"Saga! Don't play with me!"
Areum was annoyed by what Saga said. Saga himself just chuckled at Areum being angry at him.

Saga's guess was right, after drinking so much that she got drunk. Crying for almost a day made Areum unable to get out of bed now. Areum complained that her head hurt. Even opening her eyes was difficult.

Saga, who decided to take today off, had just returned from the pharmacy to get some medicine for Areum. Saga quietly entered Areum's room and found her wife closed her eyes.

Saga then sat on the edge of the bed and gently rubbed Areum's cheek.
"Already home?"

Beyond Saga's expectation, who thought Areum was sleeping, it turned out that his wife made her voice with her eyes closed. Saga smiled slightly and then nodded his head in agreement.
"Just got home. Do you still have a headache?" Saga asked then.

"Still," Areum replied and opened her eyes with difficulty.

Areum's eyes were swollen and puffy, which made Saga chuckle and then rub Areum's cheeks again.
"Look at your eyes puffy like this!"

"Because of who?"

"Yes, yes, because of me," said Saga, then chuckled.

Areum was silent, hearing Saga chuckle. Areum looked closely at Saga and wanted to ask if she still wanted to separate. But Areum didn't have that much courage.

"Hey, what else is keeping you quiet like this?" asked Saga, who could see Areum's confused and sad expression.

"Nothing," Areum briefly shook her head.

"Don't lie!"

"I am not lying."

"Areum!" urged Saga.

Areum said nothing and looked at Saga now. Her eyes were already teary again, even though she didn't want to cry anymore. But, no matter what, just the thought of parting with Saga made Areum sad.

"Areum, why do you want to cry again?" asked Saga and then helped Areum to sit down.

Areum didn't answer and just looked at Saga.
"Are we still going to get divorced?"
Finally, Areum let out what had been in her head since before. Saga himself waited to answer. Areum continued to stare at Saga and could not translate the expression on the face of the man she loved.

Areum finally sighed deeply and heavily. She bowed her head deeply and then began to shed her tears again.
"It's fine if you want to divorce me. Just take care of everything according to your schedule, but I ask you not to give me anything. Undo the prenuptial agreement you made without talking to me," Areum said.

Saga did not respond to Areum's words, but once Saga immediately embraced Areum into his arms.
"Don't like to draw your conclusions, do you?" she said.

"No, your silence already explains that conclusion."

Saga chuckled softly, then rubbed Areum's head gently.
"I, too, don't want to part with you, Areum."

Areum, who was already crying, widened her eyes in surprise. Areum then broke away from Saga's embrace. She looked at Saga and searched for the truth on the face of the man she loved.
"Eo, you didn't hear wrong," Saga said as if he knew what his wife was thinking.

Tae Jun was looking at the picture of Areum sleeping in his car yesterday. Tae Jun smiled slightly and swiped his phone screen across Areum's cheek.
"It's only natural that Saga didn't refuse the arranged marriage. Areum is so beautiful," Tae Jun monologues.

Tae Jun then pressed back and locked his cell phone again. Tae Jun opened his desk drawer and took out his other cell phone. Tae Jun dialled someone and put the phone to his ear.

"It's me."

"Hurry up and do what I told you to do last time!"

Tae Jun smiled a smirk and disconnected the call just like that.
