Saga helped Areum lean against the headboard of her bed gently. Saga then took a deep breath and sat on the edge of the bed while looking at Areum, who received a head wound and had to have her arm in a cast due to a fracture.

"So this is your reward for me?" asked Saga.

"What reward?" asked Areum, confused.

"Reward for not following you to the boutique for any reason whatsoever."
Saga said what Areum had said earlier in the office. Areum chuckled and then took Saga's hand. Areum then gently rubbed Saga's hand and then looked at Saga again.

"The most important thing to me is that you're okay," Areum said.

Again and again, Saga heard the exact words from Areum. But Saga needed to learn what Areum's words meant.

"Why do you say things like that so often? Do you think if I get hurt, you'll get hurt too?" asked Saga probingly.

Areum didn't answer immediately. Instead, she looked at her husband intently. Areum then approached and hugged Saga tightly.

"I will die if you get hurt," Areum whispered.

Saga was surprised by Areum's words. This was the first time Saga saw Areum's strange attitude, but it also made her heart beat quickly. Saga then released Areum's embrace speedily and looked closely at his wife's face.

"You, what are you talking about? Why are you talking like that?"

Areum smiled and hugged Saga back without permission.
"That's my true feeling, Saga_ssi. I get hurt if you get hurt. I'm sick if you're sick. I, too, will die if you die," Areum said.

Saga was speechless now. She fell silent and let Areum hug her now. Both of them were quiet, busy with their thoughts. Until the sound of Areum's stomach made Saga round his eyes in disbelief, Saga released his wife's embrace and then looked at Areum, holding her stomach.

"You, hungry?"

Areum smiled shyly, then nodded her head slowly. Saga chuckled at Areum's behavior.
"The sound of your stomach ruins the romantic atmosphere," grumbled Saga, who stood up and went to the kitchen to make food for Areum.

"You, sure you're still going with this unhealed wound? Your hand is even still in a cast," asked Saga, who saw Areum busy preparing clothes for her to go to her parents' party.

"How could I not go? It's your parents' party. That means my parents too," said Areum, who then took a white shirt and a navy blue suit for Saga.

"But you're sick," Saga denied again.

"Me, I've gotten better. We just sat, ate, and listened to people bully me."
Areum lowered her voice at the end of the sentence. Saga frowned in confusion as he did not hear what Areum said.

"And what? I didn't hear it."

Areum looked at Saga, then smiled widely.
"It's nothing, get ready already! I'm going to shower first," Areum said, changing the subject.

Areum was already walking to leave Saga, but Saga held her hand. Areum looked back at Saga and then linked her forehead in confusion.

"I'll help you wash your hair. Em, your hair is a little runny," said Saga, who then carried Areum's bridal style and took the girl, who was gawking because of Saga's words, to the bathroom.

Throughout the show, Areum was not focused at all. She kept remembering what she had done with Saga in the bathroom earlier. When the scene of Saga mauling her flashed back into Areum's head, Areum quickly smacked her cheek to wake up.

"Focus, let's focus! You're here to change the course of Saga's life. You have successfully come injured in place of Saga. After this, you must also successfully reduce Saga's anger at you later. Don't cry. Remember that, Kang Areum!"
Areum suggested herself by patting her cheeks.

Saga, who had just come to bring drinks for Areum, frowned in confusion at Areum's behavior.

"Why?" asked Saga as she placed a drink glass before Areum.

"Ah? Nothing's wrong," Areum replied clumsily.

Saga smiled mockingly. Saga then sat beside Areum and brought his face close to Areum's ear.
"You imagining the scene in the bathroom could be more than that, huh?"

Areum rounded her eyes in surprise at Saga's words. Areum then looked at Saga with a funny face. Saga chuckled and then unceremoniously pecked Areum's cheek lightly.

"Why do you always show such an adorable face? I so want to kiss you," said Saga.
Areum was surprised and held her cheeks while looking at Saga with wide eyes.

"You guys are so intimate, you forget where you are," said someone who suddenly came and ruined the atmosphere.

Areum and Saga looked at the person at the same time. Saga's aunts, including Tae Jun, Mrs. Min, and Mr. Min, stood before them.

"The bullying scene has begun," Areum said, mentally looking at the extended family.

Saga stood up and bowed to greet his family. Areum followed suit, mimicking her husband's gesture.

"How are you?" Areum greeted softly.

"Good, and how about you? I heard you were injured in the incident at the store," one of Saga's aunts remarked.

"Yes," Areum confirmed briefly.

The extended family then sat at the same table with Areum and Saga. Tae Jun sat beside Saga, gently patting his shoulder.

"It's been a while since we last met," Tae Jun addressed his younger sibling.

"Yeah, the last time you visited my office. I was in a meeting outside," Saga replied, confirming Tae Jun's statement.

"Oh, I heard it from Areum. I ended up having juice at a cafe with your wife," Tae Jun added.

Saga was slightly surprised that Areum hadn't mentioned it. He looked at Areum.

"Is that true?" he asked.

"Yes," Areum affirmed, nodding her head.

Tae Jun smiled, noticing Saga's expression of jealousy upon hearing this.

"Wait, why do I suddenly remember Saga's expression? Is he angry?" Areum wondered, continuing to look at Saga talking to Tae Jun.

"Areum, are you not pregnant? Are you not feeling well?" one of Saga's aunts asked.

"Ah?" Areum looked towards the source of the voice, unsure of how to respond as she was focused on Saga.

"She's healthy, and so is Saga. They just both want a free child," unexpectedly, Tuan Min chimed in.

Areum widened her eyes in disbelief at what she heard. "Why is my father-in-law suddenly interjecting in this conversation? Wasn't it different before? How can this change so suddenly?" Areum thought, puzzled.

"Freechild? Really? What about the Min family's successor?" Saga's aunt asked again.

"We still have Tae Jun; he's not married yet. Let him be the successor of the Daehan Group. I won't force my son with all my wishes," Tuan Min calmly but firmly replied.

"Wait, what is this? Why is it completely different from that day?" Areum became even more confused.

"Me?" Tae Jun interjected in disbelief.

Saga looked at his father with a happy smile. Shortly after, he glanced at his bewildered wife. "Thank you, Appa," Saga thought while gazing at his father, who was now also looking at him.
