Damien's voice trembled with disbelief as he questioned Nina's decision.

“Are you saying you left home?” he asked, struggling to comprehend the what she meant.

Nina met his gaze with unyielding resolve. “Yes, Damien. If my father refuses to drop the charges against you, I'll stay away for as long as it takes. I can't stand idly by while you suffer because of me,” she declared, her eyes shining with a fierce determination.

Damien, overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, pleaded with her, his voice laced with concern.

“Nina, you can't do this. Your father will be furious with you, and I've seen how he mistreats you. I can't bear the thought of you enduring more pain because of me,” he said, his heartache evident in his words.

Tears welled up in Nina's eyes as she took Damien's hands in hers, her touch warm and comforting.

“I can't bear to see you hurt either, Damien. I love you, and I can't stand the thought of being apart from you, especially when you're going through this injustice,” she said, her voice soft but resolute.

Damien's heart swelled with a mixture of emotions – love, fear, and a profound sense of protection for Nina. He cupped her face gently, his thumb wiping away her tears.

“I love you too, Nina. More than anything in this world. But I can't let you sacrifice everything for me. I won't allow it,” he said, his voice cracking with emotion.

Nina placed her hand over his, her eyes unwavering. “Damien, we're in this together. I won't let you face this alone. We can find a way, fight against this injustice side by side. I won't back down, not when it concerns you,” she declared, her determination shining through her tears.

Damien was moved by Nina's unwavering resolve and love. He pulled her into a tight embrace, his arms wrapping around her protectively.

“I don't deserve you,” he whispered, his voice laced with a mix of gratitude and sorrow.

“You deserve all the love in the world, Damien Howler,” Nina replied, her words muffled against his chest as she held onto him, never wanting to let go.

In that moment, amidst the cold and unforgiving prison walls, they found solace in each other's arms.

Damien held Nina close, his arms wrapped around her as he looked deep into her eyes, his voice soft but filled with anguish.

“But you can't do this, Nina. I don't want to be the cause of a rift between you and your family,” he said, his gaze tender and caring.

Nina's tears fell freely as she shook her head, her voice choked with emotion.

“I know your family is important to you,” Damien continued, his voice gentle yet firm, "but we both understand the harsh reality. Our love is a threat to them, and your father won't rest until he tears us apart."

In the tight embrace, Nina's pleas became desperate sobs. “No, Damien, please,” she cried, her grip on him tightening as if trying to hold onto their love with sheer willpower. “I can't bear the thought of losing you. I can't breathe without you by my side.”

Damien's eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and determination. “I can't bear it either, Nina,” he confessed, his voice raw with the pain of separation. “But I can't let you jeopardize your future for me. Please, just wait. I'll find a way to endure this, to survive until the day we can be together openly and without fear.”

Nina, her voice resolute, pulled back slightly, looking into Damien's eyes with unwavering determination. “I can't sit back and watch you suffer alone," she said, her tone firm. "I love you too much to let you face this on your own. I've made up my mind, Damien. I won't let prejudice and injustice keep us apart.”

Damien's desperation deepened. “Nina, no, please don't do anything reckless,” he pleaded, his hands cupping her face, his thumbs gently wiping away her tears.

With a brave smile, Nina placed her hand over his. “I have to, Damien. I can't let our love be silenced by their bigotry,” she said, her voice steady despite her trembling. Before Damien could protest further, she pressed a soft kiss to his lips, a tender promise of her unwavering commitment.

“I'll be back, Damien,” Nina said, her eyes filled with love and determination. “But for now, take care of yourself. I'm glad you're okay.” With those words, she stepped back, leaving Damien standing there, his heart torn between fear for her safety and the overwhelming love he felt for the courageous woman who had just walked away, ready to defy the world for their love.

Mr. Bardwulfs' face contorted with rage upon hearing the news of Nina's escape. His booming voice echoed through the halls of his mansion as he bellowed in fury,

“What? My daughter ran away?! That girl!” His subordinates stood in silence, well aware of the storm that had been unleashed within their leader.

“She's really testing my patience,” Mr. Bardwulfs seethed, his fists clenched at his sides.

The mere thought of Nina's defiance fueled his anger, and the audacity of her actions shook him to his core. His mind raced with thoughts of how to regain control over his daughter, how to quash the rebellion that had ignited within her.

The subordinate hesitated before continuing, aware that his next piece of information might only stoke the flames of Mr. Bardwulfs' fury.

“She was also seen visiting the prison, sir,” he said cautiously, bracing himself for the inevitable explosion of anger.

Mr. Bardwulfs' eyes narrowed, his anger now directed toward the source of his woes.

“Plan our next move and eliminate that Damien,” he ordered, his voice cold and calculating. The air in the room grew heavy with tension as Mr. Bardwulfs laid out his sinister plan, his mind working swiftly to orchestrate Damien's downfall.

Mr. Bardwulfs' face twisted with a malevolent determination as he continued to plot against Damien.

“It's about time we get rid of that Damien. How dare he bewitch my daughter,” he seethed, his voice dripping with venom. The very idea of Damien's sway over Nina stoked his fury, and the realization that an omega could wield such influence over his own child fueled his anger, shrouding his judgment in a vengeful determination.

His subordinates, well-versed in carrying out their leader's ruthless orders, exchanged knowing glances. The room buzzed with an ominous tension as Mr. Bardwulfs continued to plan Damien's demise.

“Orchestrate the elimination as an accident inside the prison,” Mr. Bardwulfs commanded, his eyes cold and calculating. The idea of a staged accident seemed like a perfectly plausible way to eliminate Damien while avoiding direct suspicion. His mind raced, concocting a web of deceit and manipulation to ensnare his daughter's forbidden lover.

“Even better, let it occur while he's being transferred to the main capital prison within the camp. It must seem like a tragic accident during the journey. And ensure my daughter witnesses his death.” His eyes gleamed with a dark satisfaction, envisioning the downfall of the man he perceived as the source of his family's disgrace.
