The day has turned into the night. With the cold air and the unavoidable smell of silence. Jane is already lay down on that stiff, cold bed on there. There wasn't a single thing she ever could do right now. Alone in the cell, and with no friends in there. And unfortunately again, Jane can't think clearly at all and also calmer at this time. She was starting to feel worried about one thing. Even though she herself didn't even know the reason behind her worries right now.

For some reason Jane already felt strange on inside of herself. She always kept feeling worried and restless. Especially since Louisa's return when visiting her in prison this afternoon. There were still many things that she hadn't said about to Louisa. She didn't feel so brave to do that all, and too weak to be able to say all of these things to Louisa. Jane hoped that one day Henry would have the courage to tell Louisa all the truth about it. And whatever it is about.

Not long after, Jane took a deep breath. The restlessness in her heart right now really couldn't be held back any longer. Immediately, Jane got up from the bed, and took out a book and a ballpoint pen that she had asked one of the cell guards this afternoon. Carrying the book and the pen in the palm of her right hand, then walked back to the bed, and sat on there. Jane leaned against the rough walls of the prison cell and the cold felt down her back at this very moment.

Jane's eyes stared blankly. Recalling the three years of her time working with Louisa at Tomkins House. All the good times for her to always remember. Working with Louisa was the one of best thing that Jane had ever done in her life. She never asked about many questions, and always made sure that Louisa was satisfied with what she had already done on her jobs. Always and forever. Jane then lowered her head slightly and began to write on the book using the ballpoint pen in her right hand.

“I will write this letter to you, Miss Louisa. For some reason, I thought that this afternoon was the last time we could see each other…” Jane mumbled, and began to write the letter.

Several times, Jane wiped her face from the tears that were slowly falling down her face with her palms. She did it for several times, until Jane finished writing the letter. Jane sighed. Tear off the piece of paper from the book, then fold it neatly. Write Louisa Tomkins' name right at the very top of the folded sheet of paper there. Jane held the letter in her palms and kissed it. She felt so relieved after writing the letter to Louisa. Then Jane put the letter under the pillow on the bed.

Jane was startled by a knock on the iron of her prison cell. Immediately stood up and looked at one of the police guards who were there. "Yes??" Jane muttered.

“There was an impromptu visit tonight. He said it was an important matter." The police officer answered there explaining.

Jane furrowed her brow quite deeply. “But it's already late… I mean, usually the visiting time is already over right now…” She mumbled.

The police officer immediately shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. “I don't know about the real reason on it. But senior asked me to allow a visit tonight for you. And he will come here. You have to just wait for it…” The police officer answered and walked away from there.

Jane sighed. “What if it's Miss Louisa?? What should I say to her after this… I wouldn't even be able to face myself in front of her right now. But, what if it was Henry?? I will never be able to look directly at the two of them. And I don't think I'll ever be able to do that."

“So you think that the two of them will come here to see you once again right now??”

A voice interrupted Jane from her thoughts at this very moment. Jane widened her eyes when she realized someone was there. "You??" She muttered.

“Too bad for Jane Miller, you ended up in this prison cell in the end. What a shock…” The figure continued to walk closer to Jane's prison cell.

Jane began to feel her body shaking violently. He also just realized that the atmosphere of the police building which is currently very quiet. Jane barely saw any guards or police inside. "What do you want?? I've done everything that you wanted from me… what more do you want right now??” Jane asked in a rather harsh tone of voice. So hopeful if only there were police officers who were still there and listened to his voice.

The figure of the man instantly smirked at his lips. "And failed, Jane. You failed to do what I ordered. And look, this is one of the consequences you will get. I have never reneged on what I have said. And never gonna be."

The man's figure instantly drew closer to Jane's prison cell, and began to open the lock that locked Jane's cell. This immediately made Jane panic even more. “W-what?? What are you doing?? Where did you get the key from?? Officer!! Officer!!!" Jane screamed frantically.

When the cell door was successfully opened, Jane began to back away and tried to find things around her to protect herself from the mam right now. “No one will listen to you, Jane. Anyway, this is one of my favorites. Scaring people… doesn't that look really fun??” The figure of the man is now in Jane's prison cell there.

Jane was silent watching the man's figure with her eyes starting to fill with tears. The man stood straight in front of Jane, then slowly his right palm began to reach into his trouser pocket. Jane continued to watch him, and realized that the man had taken a rifle from his trouser pocket. Jane was speechless. It was as if everything had become much clearer by now. And now Jane is just biding her time.

The man raised the rifle in his right hand high, and aimed it straight at Jane. “For a task you failed to do, it was the stupidest thing for you to do, Jane. Then this is the punishment you deserve.”

Several bullets went straight through Jane's head and parts of her body from inside the gun. It suddenly made Jane's body fall into the bed and make several things fall, as well as Jane's body which immediately hit hard on the cold floor of the prison cell. There, Jane's blood began to flow profusely from her wounds. The man immediately put the rifle back in his trouser pocket. Glancing disdainfully at the corpse of Jane who had died horribly.

"It's really annoying. Wasting my bullets only on useless people like you. But this is likely to be the best ending for you, Jane. What an ironic death, Jane Miller."

After that the man walked away from the prison cell without the slightest remorse. Leaving the door of Jane's prison cell open. With Jane's body still oozing fresh blood from her body. In which Jane's eyes were even slightly opened, and her lips were parted as if she couldn't believe that her death would be like that. Jane's body was face down. And there the letter with the name Louisa Tomkins was stained with Jane's blood.

“Louisa, your phone has been vibrating since earlier… maybe there's an important call from Tomkins House…” Henry mumbled in his sleep. But his hands moved more and more to tighten the hug that was between him and Louisa.

Likewise with Louisa who is getting more comfortable sleeping in Henry's arms. How could it not be, after spending the night talking and other things, the two of them were currently still completely lost. “Mhm... just let it be. I still need a lot of sleep right now… you made me work all the night… and I'm so sleepy.” Louisa mumbled and tightened herself into Henry's arms even more.

Henry smiled faintly. "Oh yes? We both worked all night... but first pick up your phone... if it's not too important, we can sleep again until tomorrow..." Henry muttered again by gently rubbing Louisa's right shoulder there.

Louisa took a deep breath. "All right. I'll pick up the call right now." Louisa muttered, and immediately let go of Henry's embrace there slowly.

Her right hand reached out to take her cellphone which was on the small table beside her bed. Louisa picked up a call from an unknown official number. "Yes? Hello?? Who's this??" Louisa muttered and leaned her body against the head of the bed. Still with sleepiness filling her, Louisa even spoke with her eyelids closed there.

“Miss Louisa Tomkins, we're from the police force. Just wanted to let you know that... Jane Miller was died last night. She's already dead."

"WHAT?!!!"

Louisa immediately opened her eyelids with a surprised feeling. "Louis, what's wrong?" Henry also woke up and sat up on the bed.

“W-what?? What do you mean? I met Jane yesterday afternoon. She is fine, and alright. She didn't even have any complaints... how could she have died last night. What happened?? Why did it happen??" Louisa muttered with her tears starting to break.

"Jane died?" Henry muttered in disbelief. He immediately hugged Louisa from behind. Trying to calm Louisa who was crying even more.

"We will explain at the police station, Miss. It would be much better if you could come here immediately.” The police officer answered at last.

Louisa nodded her head faintly. “W-well… I-I'll be there soon. I'll come…” She mumbled, and immediately hung up the call.

Louisa turned her body slightly and looked at Henry with tears that didn't stop falling down her face. Henry burst into tears. They both still couldn't believe the news they got. "Henry... Jane... she died... She's died..." Louisa cried again and was immediately hugged tightly by Henry. Louisa once again lost someone she loved and cared about. Jane Miller is dead now.
