Aarti PoV:

"Stop the nuisance, you roadside bitch. Otherwise, I will throw you out of the house. A whore like you should be on the streets, not in the palace like this. That is the right place for you, and you will find different men whom you can seduce with your body."

His words hurt me more than these injuries. I hugged my knees and bent my head crying, closing my mouth with another hand to silence my sobs. How could he abuse me to this extent? He talked as if I am a characterless girl and a whore. He again caught my hair and pulled it to make me stand.

"Vihaan, please leave me. At least treat me as a human, if you can't treat me as your wife," I pleaded him.

"Who is he?" Vihaan asked, shocking me.

"Who? I didn't get you," I said confused with his question.

"Who is he who ran through our back door?"

"What are you talking? I don't understand," I said, trying to know what was he saying.

"Tell me the truth!" Vihaan asked again.

"Really, I don't understand about whom you are talking," I said sincerely.

"I know well. He is your boyfriend, and you have an affair with him. I saw your porn video in which you are making love to him with love and happiness," Vihaan said irritating me.

I can't believe his words. What did he say? I know he hates me but how could he put such blame on me? I thought to retort, but I saw the pain in his eyes. It means it's not he who wanted to blame me. Something is wrong. Someone might have plotted against me.

"Vihaan, please trust me," that's what I can say for now.

I didn't know how to prove my innocence to Vihaan. Already Vihaan broke me with his hatred, and I don't know the reason behind his hatred. He left my hair and sat on the bed.

"Why? Why does it always happen to me? Whenever I love someone, either God will take them away, as he did with my parents. Or they will betray me as Maya did. Today I went to a hotel with Lina. But I am unable to betray you and left her. But how can you betray me? I know you have no love for me. But don't you even value our marriage?" Vihaan said looking at me.

I went near to him.

"Vihaan, I didn't do anything wrong. But as you were hurt because of me, I am sorry. I didn't betray you, and I can never betray you. Please trust me once and give me a chance. I will be a good wife to you," I said holding his hands and sitting on knees before him.

I know I am innocent. However, I didn't want to argue now because Vihaan is in pain. Later, I will make him understand my character. He doesn't know anything about me. So he trusted that video. It's ok. I will prove my innocence to him soon.

He looked at me and took away his hands from me. He left the room and walked downstairs. I heard the sound of opening and closing the main door. It means he left home leaving me alone.

Where did he go? Is he going to Lina again? I felt a pain in my heart with that thought. How can I make him trust me? How can I win his love? Can I ever remove his hatred for me? Why does he hate me this much?

Vihaan didn't come home for a month. I didn't have his mobile number to call him. My uncle refused to help me in contacting Vihaan, as he always wanted me to suffer. Vihaan sent all the required stuff for my survival through his staff. However, none revealed his whereabouts to me. Being alone is not new to me, but somewhere my heart expected love from Vihaan, even after that torturous night. I thought for a long time to find a way to meet Vihaan. Finally, an idea popped up in my mind.

I decided to meet Vihaan in his office. I took the appointment and waited for him. Vihaan doesn't know my name so that he will give the appointment to me. The receptionist informed me that Vihaan called me. I strolled towards his cabin. I am hell scared of his anger. I hoped that he would not shout at me. I gathered all my courage and knocked on the door of his cabin.

"Yes, come in!"

After a month, I heard his voice. A smile appeared on my lips. I went inside taking a deep breath. Vihaan got shocked finding me here in his office. I know he didn't expect me here. I gulped and then looked at him.

"Will you please permit me to talk for five minutes to you?" I said slowly.

"I will come to our home in the evening. I hate to discuss personal issues in the office. Now you can leave," Vihaan said coldly.

"Are you sure? I will take just five minutes to talk," I requested.

"I will stand on my words. I will say what I do and do what I say. If you don't leave now, I will not hesitate to call the security to throw you out of my office," Vihaan said rudely. I nodded and left for my home.

In the evening, Vihaan came to the house as he said. He sat on the couch crisscrossing his legs. I didn't speak anything as I am afraid of him.

"Do you call me here to stay silent? Don't waste my time. Tell me what you wanted to say. Just five minutes," Vihaan said maintaining his seRamusness.

"I didn't do anything wrong, Vihaan. I never betrayed you and can never betray you. How can you trust someone else, but not your wife? If you think, I betrayed you just because of a video, and then I can also create such videos on you with the girl whom you didn't even see. Technology has been developed, and morphing is as easy as clicking a photo. Please, listen to me," I tried to explain to him.

"I have already decided to listen to your version. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been here in front of you," Vihaan said. I noticed that now his voice softened a bit.
