Ivy shifted slowly, her body feeling like it had been through a lot that morning. Reluctant to get out of bed, she remained wrapped in a thick blanket, noticing that Race was no longer beside her.

"Is it because I'm now an ordinary human, so I feel so tired after last night's battle? Then, why does Race seem not tired? Or am I just being too dramatic?" Ivy mumbled to herself, pondering.

She sighed deeply and hid her head back under the blanket.
"Being tired like this, how can I have a child with Race?" she said again.

Ivy only opened the blanket covering her face when she felt someone sitting on the edge of the bed. She was surprised to see Race, who seemed to have just finished bathing, in front of her.

"Race, how long have you been here?" Ivy felt embarrassed because Race must have heard what she said earlier.

Race smiled and then gently kicked Ivy's leg.
"What's making you grumble like that, Iv?" Race asked, finding Ivy's words amusing.

"Did you hear it?" Ivy asked awkwardly.

Race couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. He laughed heartily while nodding in agreement with Ivy's question. Feeling very embarrassed, Ivy hid her face again with the blanket.

"Don't laugh, Race!" Ivy pleaded, embarrassed.

Race continued to laugh and then uncovered the blanket covering Ivy's face.
"Come on, don't be shy like that! Let's take a bath! After that, I'll take you to the palace," Race said.

"The palace?" Ivy was a little surprised by Race's invitation and quickly sat up.

"Yeah."

"For what?"
Ivy was a bit afraid to go to the palace; this was the first time she would go there after the time reversal.

"There's something I need to discuss with Father, Mother, and also King Michel. It's all about us," Race explained.

"Us?" Ivy looked confused. A moment later, Ivy quickly held Race's hand.

"Before we go, answer my question first!" she said quickly, staring at Race thoughtfully.

Race furrowed his brow in confusion.
"What?"

"Does Tesla's magic not work on you?" Ivy finally gathered the courage to ask.

Race fell silent upon hearing Ivy's question. He looked at his wife intently with a neutral expression. After a moment, Race smiled and turned his face away.
"It seems so, because even though we've gone back too far, I can still remember everything that happened to you, Iv," he said.

Ivy was stunned by Race's words. Her hands trembled, and she released Race's hand. Her efforts seemed to be in vain. Race could feel Ivy's hand trembling while holding his hand, and he looked at Ivy, who seemed like she was about to cry. Race sighed deeply and embraced Ivy.

"Why are you getting sad? Isn't it good that I still remember everything, and we can prevent it before it all happens?" Race tried to comfort Ivy.

"I don't want you to remember everything, Race. I want you to have no feelings for me at all. So, whatever happens to me, you won't feel sad or hurt. I'm sorry, Race; I failed to protect you."
Ivy cried loudly in Race's embrace. Meanwhile, Race smiled and gently rubbed Ivy's back.

"Don't cry anymore! You didn't do anything wrong, Iv. This time, I'll make sure that whatever happens to you will never happen again," Race said.

"But I'm useless here now, Race. I no longer have the magic I used to have," Ivy said, still crying.

Race didn't answer and just tightened his embrace around Ivy.
"That's exactly why I have to change everything starting now," Race thought.

Ivy was sitting in the meeting room with Race, but Race was conversing casually with Winter. Ivy remained tense as she didn't know the purpose of Race bringing her to the palace today. Winter, seeing Ivy's anxious expression, looked at her openly.

"What are you thinking, Iv?" Race asked, successfully making Ivy turn to Winter. A few seconds later, Ivy looked back at Race with a fearful face.

Race raised his eyebrows, seeing Ivy so anxious and frightened.
"What's wrong?" Race asked in a panic.

Winter, observing Race's response, was a bit surprised. He furrowed his brow in disbelief.
"What's this? Why is Race so worried about Ivy? Isn't it..."
Before Winter could finish his thoughts, King Michel, Queen Nami, Lord Milano, and Lady Maria entered the meeting room.

Seeing the four of them, Winter reflexively stood up, and Race followed suit. Ivy, seeing the two men standing, also complied.
"Sit down! You don't need to stand like that," King Michel said and took his seat.

Everyone followed King Michel's command. Lady Maria smiled at Ivy.
"How are you, dear? You never visited us after coming to the east," Lady Maria said to Ivy.

Ivy was a bit surprised, but she tried to be polite. She bowed, apologizing.
"I haven't been able to visit you because I'm not familiar with the pavilion and this area yet, Mother."

"Race should be taking care of that; what's wrong with you, Race?" Lord Milano remarked, then looked at Race.

Race looked at his parents with a blank face. It was still fresh in his memory how much his parents disliked Ivy after learning that she was a descendant of witches and a seer. Race sighed deeply and then looked at Ivy.

"Sorry, but I did it on purpose, Father, Mother," Race said.

"Why? Aren't you supposed to introduce Ivy to all of us?" King Michel asked in confusion.

Queen Nami herself looked at Ivy, who was now bowing her head. Queen Nami took a deep breath and then looked at Race.

"So, why are you making us all meet Ivy now?" Queen Nami asked.

Race looked at Winter's mother; she seemed so cold and indifferent. Winter glanced at Race and sighed deeply.

"There is something I need to tell you about my marriage to Ivy," Race said.

Ivy, who had no idea about Race's plan, quickly turned to Race. Ivy tried to figure it out from Race's facial expression, but Race's blank face made it impossible to understand.

"What do you mean, Race? What's wrong with your marriage to Ivy? Have you changed your mind, and now you want to celebrate the marriage in the usual way?" Lord Milano impatiently asked what his son wanted to talk about.

Race only responded to some of the questions. He looked at Ivy, who seemed to be waiting for his answer. Race smiled at Ivy and then tightly held Ivy's hand. Ivy became more curious about what Race wanted to say to all the parents in front of them.

"I have made this decision carefully. I...I want to release Ivy from this marriage. I will end my marriage with Ivy, with or without all your approval," Race said bluntly and with a severe face, but his hand gripped Ivy tightly.

Ivy was shocked by what Race said. She stared blankly at her husband. Her tears flowed freely without being able to command them. As for the four parents in the room, they were also stunned by what Race said. Winter took a deep breath and ruffled his neatly combed hair.

"Race, you foolish idiot!"
