"Remember that I have 'girl time' with Becca after our study session?" I reminded and he nods his head.

"Yeah, I do" he pats my head and I swat his hand away.

"Stop, let's continue"

We went on for like two more hours and by the time we were rounding off, Elle was just coming in, we greet her and she responds then made her way to her room.

"I think we are done for the day," Leo said whilst stretching. I did a little stretching too then let out a loud yawn. "You're local"

"Oh please," I rolled my eyes. "We can go over the other calculations tomorrow," I said then closed the book and looked at him, he was already looking at me so I blushed a bit. "You really need to stop" I stood up and packed up my books and stacked his close to his hand that was on the table.

"Stop what?" he frowned.

"Staring, like you are just seeing me for the first time" I answered and he chuckled.

"Every time with you feels like I am seeing you for the first time"

That warmed my heart.

"That's how you flattered Amara into falling for your charms" I accused jokingly.

"What can I say? Not my fault that I am charming"

"Don't get cocky boy, I am not charmed"

"If you say so" he winked and I snorted. "Local"

"I need to get ready before Becca comes here"

"Should I help pick a dress for you?" he stood up and looks down at me.

I shook my head "We aren't 16 anymore Leo, I can do that myself and I am not going on a date so I don't need the extra help" I said to him.

"When things cool down and we go on dates, wear whatever you want" he came closer and leaned in to whisper in my ear "I always love whatever you wear"

"Even if it's a trash nylon"

"Even if it's a trash nylon, if it's you wearing it, it will be amazing" I grinned when he leaned back and took a step back.

It was nice to know that he was considering taking me on a date, we haven't had a real date since we knew each other and now that we are on the same page with our feelings for each other, it's super nice to know this.

"You are flattering but it wouldn't get me dressed, so bye, and thanks for having this study session with me" I grinned.

"Sure mamacita, I'll see you later" he came closer to give me a hug which I returned graciously. "Have fun, okay?" he kissed my forehead and I let out a faint sigh of satisfaction.

"I will and you too"

We pulled out of the hug and he took his books and left, while I went upstairs to go get ready for my day out with Becca.

"This place is good, eh?" Becca asked when we settled in the booth we picked when we got here.

I nod my head and leaned back to relax in my chair. She smiled and when a server came to take our order, we said what we wanted and he left to bring our order.

"I didn't know of this place at all," I said after we shared a few moments of silence.

I didn't get a response from Becca and looked up to see her absent-mindedly drinking from the water in front of her. Although, I didn't want to mention anything there have been some little things I noticed in the behavior of Becca and Daniel.

Usually, they are always together and would be accountable to each other and when they aren't in the same place, you could still sense the strong bond they have with each other but recently, I could feel like it isn't there as it used to be.

Even when she came to pick me up, she seemed distracted and asked to be sure that Daniel wasn't at home. Daniel too, would dismiss all talks about Becca and when we don't stop teasing, he would angrily leave the room. I am concerned and I do hope that things are fine with them.

"Becca" I called her but she didn't respond, I called her once more and she shakes as she looks at me.

There was a little furrow in her brows but after a few seconds, her lips broke into a smile and her face was free of those worries.

"Are you okay?" I asked in a concerned tone.

She sighs but still maintained the smile.

"Oh, yes, everything is fine. I am fine" she nods her head and then took some more water.

"When something is wrong, most of the time, you are fidgeting with something or taking too much water" I mentioned and just then our food arrived. "And it leaves too little space for you to fit in any food"

"Nothing is wrong, I am not saying anything is wrong" she tries to defend then took her fork and starts playing with her food as a means of distraction.

I held her hand and dropped the fork, I made her look at me while I rub small circles on her hand.

"Becca, forget the fact that I am your boyfriend's sister and see me as your friend who you tell just anything about, even if it is about you and my brother. I will not be partial because it's my brother we are talking about. I will be your friend just like always" I said.

Becca looked at me and her face was suddenly sullen. I felt bad that I might be right about the issue being about her and my brother's relationship.

"Tell me, I am here to listen," I said and she sighed, closed her eyes then let out another sigh before opening her eyes to look at me.

"I... I and... I and Daniel are breaking up for good" she said and my jaw dropped.
