Don't worry bestie, we'll be out of the woods in no time.“ Chloe said, it was obvious she was saying it just to make me feel better. But it wasn't helping, my feet are sore and I can't take it anymore. What surprises me is how Chloe has been coping, she didn't complain or even flinch all day. She still looked fresh and energetic.
I don't know what the time is, but I'm sure that we are running out of time. The sun is going to set any moment from now, I was already freaking out, my sore feet adding to my problems.

I looked around for a resting place. It was getting late but I didn't care, my feet couldn't hold me. I need rest.
Moving a few steps backward, I sat beneath a huge tree and closed my eyes for a few seconds. When Chloe noticed that I was not coming she turned around and said,
“You know what, Kendra, just take rest, I'll go look around and see if this place will be safe for the night.“ I nodded in approval. She left and I closed my eyes again but opened them abruptly when my hands touched something, it felt really smooth and I feared that t might be a snake. I looked down cautiously and my heart skipped a beat when I saw what it was. It's my jacket! The same one I dropped after taking a break earlier today. That means we have been walking in circles all day! We have been wasting our time. I wish we didn't leave the village in the first place.
How on Earth could Chloe be so careless, she said she knows the woods perfectly and now we are lost! How on Earth didn't she notice that we have been walking in circles! This is f**cked up!
I raised my head as I watched the last ray of sunshine leave the sky!
Tears filled my eyes, it was getting darker and darker and I knew for sure that the Vampires will start their search.
“Bestie? What's wrong?“ Chloe asked from behind. I quickly turned around and hugged her tightly and said, “Chloe, we have been walking in circles! See, my jacket, I dropped it earlier today but found it under a tree right here! We are doomed! The Vampires are going to get us!“
“What Vampires?“ She asked me, and that was when I remembered that I haven't been honest with her “uhmmm,…umm..uhh” I started to stammer but she cut in with

“ What?“ I said under my breath, that's when I let go of her and opened my eyes. Behold! standing right in front of me, a huge evil grin plastered on their faces was Blake and his brunette friend! Chloe stood beside them with a smile on her face. Then she said “surprised, BESTIE?“ exaggerating the bestie part.
“Oh, I almost forgot,” she added, then all of a sudden, she transformed! Long nails, fangs, pale face, and every other thing that makes a vampire a vampire.
That's it, I'm losing it, she's a vampire? She's on Blake's team? How could she do this to me? I trusted her! Why? Why?.
“You wanna know why? Well firstly, the prince wants you and your sister, anyone who does the job of capturing anyone of you shall be given a higher rank in the vampire hierarchy.“ She said grinning widely. But her answers weren't my problem, the only thing that was on my mind was how on God's earth did she know what I was thinking!
“It's a little advantage of being a Vampire,” she replied again!
This is soo confusing. Chloe is a vampire and she's working with Blake. Kara and I are wanted in the vampire world! And then, Vampires can read minds!!! This is too much to take in.
“Get her” Chloe Said.
“We need to get her to his highness immediately, I don't want others finding us. You know the general wouldn't mind eliminating anyone who betrays him” she murmured.
Blake and his friend moved closer and handcuffed my hands. This Time I was sure they weren't going to let me go, so I didn't try anything funny.
We started marching quietly. With every step we took, I felt closer and closer to danger. I don't what's their so-called prince wants me for but I'm sure it's nothing good. He's behind my mother's death! I'll like to hit his face

“Aren't you Vampires? Can't we just fly there or something.“ I muttered in frustration.

Hmm Zaid, that name sounds as hot as he is. Sincerely, if I was forced to marry a vampire, it'll be him. Wait, what am I thinking, I'm going to get butchered thanks to this good-looking Vampire, and I still think he's good-looking! WTF?.
“Why on Earth did you guys have to put on the whole Chloe friendship and love stuff instead of just capturing me. It would have saved us a lot of time. Y'all might be enjoying that f**cking promotion already!“ I half yelled.

Because she's a strong and high-ranked vampire, she used her powers to protect you from other vampires. When the coast was clear, she informed us and TADA we're here!“ okay, the story hit me hard! The heck? They let me escape on purpose? Who on earth does that. I gotta admit, they are pretty smart. But what got me was how zaid said 'TADA' at the end. #cute.
“But hey, why did Chloe help if she's such a strong vampire? What's in it for her?" I asked. I had to ask, she wouldn't go through this whole shit without a price!
“Just use your brain for once Kendra! Of course, the prince would want a strong woman by his side.
