In izamal a small city in the Mexican state of Yucatán and in a small house, a young man was watering the flowers when a little girl ran out of the house with a smile plastered on the little girl’s face “ the young miss just opened her eyes “ she screamed excitedly
“ what did you say “ the man asked not believing what the little girl just said
“ she is awake “ she said then dragged the man’s hand then both ran into the house .

“ hi “ Cassy said when she saw a young man and a little girl walked in .
She had woken up few minutes a go then made to stand up when she felt a throbbing headache that she thought her head was tearing apart but a little girl quickly helped her to lie down then ran out only to return with this young man .
Cassy tried remembering how she got to the room she was in and how she got to know the young man and the little girl but the only thing she could remember was Chloe pushing her off the Clift into the Pacific Ocean .
Cassy decided not to stress her already stressed head by asking what she wanted to know .
“ I was pushed down the Clift minutes a go but what I don’t remember is how I got here “ Cassy said massaging her temple .
“ hey ,I know you have a lot of questions but it’s not time for questions you have a whole lot of time to do that but first I need to call the doctor that you are awake so he would come and make sure that you are okay “ the young man said
“ fine then but can I at least get to know your name “ Cassy asked
“ sure why not am John “ the young man said leaving the room.
“ and am Emily “ the little girl said then walked closer to Cassy “ once the doctor arrive I will go get your food if he permits me “ Emily said caressing Cassy’s palm
“ what happened ?I saw your photo on the news that you fell off the Clift two years ago “ Emily whispered to Cassy
“ what ? Two years ago ? “Cassy asked not believing her ears
“Yeah you…..,” Emily tried explaining but quickly shut her mouth when the door opened then John and the doctor walked in
“ Emily go get her food “ John said in order to dismiss Little Emily for a while as it appears she was telling the young miss something
“ okay John “ Emily said then left to get what she was asked to.
The doctor brought out a stethoscope which he put on he checked Cassy’s heart beat then did some other checking
“ she is fine .all she need now is proper meal, medication and rest as it isn’t a serious case since she can remember everything “ the doctor said then arranged his stuffs into his briefcase.
“ thank you doctor “ John said then escorted the doctor out .
Emily soon returned with a tray of food which she served Cassy . While Cassy was eating, John walked in .
“ I really want to ask a whole lot of questions can i “ Cassy asked waiting for permission
“ when you are done eating “ John replied then left the room
Cassy rushed her food then quickly asked Emily to call John as she was eager to hear how she got to meet them .
John was staring at Cassy’s pictures on his phone he just didn’t understand why he couldn’t allow all the people looking for her two years ago to know that she was with him but whatever be the reason only heaven knows .
“ John she is done with her meal “ Emily informed John then walked back to meet Cassy . John soon join the duo .
“ two years ago I was sailing on the Pacific Ocean when I saw a body floating on the water at first I was scared to go close but I later decided to . When I got close I saw you . I quickly took you into my boat then brought you here they were so much news about you falling off the Clift into the Pacific Ocean and divers and lifeguard searched for you every side of the Pacific Ocean but they couldn’t find you I was tempted to go tell them that I found you but I couldn’t just bring myself to .
At the time that I rescued you , you had drank a lot of water and lost consciousness I paid a private doctor to treat you even though you was in coma for two years “ John told Cassy everything she needed to know
“ two years ?” Cassy asked she never would have believed that someone could be this patient two years she was in coma yet they didn’t give up on her they believe she was going to wake up one day .
“ am sorry I didn’t inform your people while they were looking for you “ John apologize
“ it’s fine you actually did the right thing the person after my life will think am dead “ Cassy said wiping her tears .
“ someone is after your life ?” Emily asked feeling sorry for Cassy
“ then stay with us “ Emily quickly suggested
“ don’t worry sweetheart am not leaving soon “ Cassy said stretching forth her arm to hug Emily .
Surprisingly Emily and John both hugged Cassy .
Days turned into weeks then weeks into months
So did Cassy became strong she lived with Emily and John as though she have known them for a very long time . She just wanted to live a normal life away from work , fame and those after her life even though not for ever but for the time being.
