Adrianna stared at her phone screen as she silently read the few words which was sent to her as message from Mr Dante of course.

*Today is Jenni's birthday party.

Though the message sounded completely normal that anyone could not suspect but this message was too suspicious that Adrianna could not quite place her finger on it.
Normally, If Mr Dante sends messages to her, it'd be filled with abusive and insulting words but surprisingly, this words he sent sounds like they were in good terms.

But there was one thing Adrianna knew at that moment, the home wrecker of a mother and her daughter duo coupled with the murderer father has something up their sleeves, of course a normal person wouldn't let her to walk away like that after finding out Mr Dante's little secret.
But what Adrianna couldn't understand was how they could celebrate Jenni's birthday party when Adrianna clearly took everything from them.

Is there anything she was missing or did Jenni find another person who could be her backup.

Adrianna sighed, maybe when she gets to the birthday party venue she would be able to find out what's going on.

"mother, father has gone already?"Rayan's head popped out of the door, his eyes synchronizing the room, probably to check whether his dad was anywhere in his mum's room.

Upon hearing rayan's words, adrianna's cheeks went crimson red as she thought about their first date together, she never knew how raymond cared and loved her until now.

"mother, your all red, How did you turn sick all of a sudden"Rayan muttered as he climbed the stool and touched his mum's red cheeks.

"am not sick ray, your father is making me love sick"Adrianna almost spilled out but managed to keep her words at bay and only smiled at Rayan who had his little fingers under his chin like he was thinking, then his face lit up like a Christmas tree as he raised up his head to look at his mum.

"mother, how was the date?, was it daddy that caused Mummy's face to go all red"Rayan asked and Adrianna's cheeks reddened more than a riped tomato but she managed to clear her throat and used her brown hair to cover her both cheeks.

"nonsense!, how can he make my face go all red, is not possible!"Adrianna muttered rolling her eyes dramatically.

"but mummy....
"baby, mummy is going out right now to a very important party so be a good boy and don't do anything crazy before I come back okay?"Adrianna rushed her words as she placed a peck on rayan's forehead.

Rayan cringed a little but upon remembering how his mum felt that morning, he didn't make a move to wipe it but instead beamed so happily.
Rayan excused himself before running towards his room with the intentions of playing some video games while adrianna slipped out of her casualties before putting on a red knee length dress.

"let's go see what those foolish family are up to!"Adrianna muttered to her reflection on the mirror before leaving her room.

Adrianna came down from the car and closed it slowly, immediately she turned to inform her driver to leave, people had already circled her car, taking pictures of the beautiful dark spotless Ferrari, not to mention the beauty goddess who just walked out of the car door.

Adrianna managed to get inside the hotel with the help of her guards, she walked deeper into the grand hall and just as she expected, the grand hall was decorated and filled with life to the brim, people dancing, laughing and drinking happily.

"oh, here she comes, Anna you are here"Wendy muttered walking towards adrianna who held an indifferent expression on her face.

"I decided to invite you to this party since your still one of us but before we do any other thing, I want you to forgive me for every bad things I've done to you, I know that I had make things difficult for you since your mother died but I wish for one thing then I can take any punishment given to me....."Wendy said with little drops of tears at the side of both her eyes, trailing off on her long boring speech.

"what??"Adrianna said deciding inwardly to go with the flow.

"atleast, don't get angry at jenni, I and your father just for today, I want us to enjoy this party like a family we once were"Wendy muttered and adrianna nodded with a tight smile, great!, she knew it, that was actually a trap!

adrianna couldn't help but scoff inwardly, family?, family they once were?, when were they a family?, they never treated her good for once and Wendy was speaking like they had always been a picture perfect family!

"Adrianna!"Jenni squeaked jumping out of nowhere as she pulled adrianna into a hug.
Adrianna stood there stiff in her arms but then she pushed Jenni off her and forced out a tight smile to continue her play drama.

"happy birthday Jenni"Adrianna faked a smile, she felt that her mouth would continue to hurt if she continues to force out a smile like this.

"okay, thanks dear elder sister, feel free and relax, I will be right back"Jenni muttered and began to walk away fastly,

"ofcourse Jenni, your nothing but a coward, go and carry out your devilish plans"Adrianna thought inwardly with a smirk but upon hearing her phone ring, she opened her purse which she had been holding for a long time only to see something unfamiliar.

Right inside her purse laid a beautiful silver jewelry necklace, then it occurred to her that the time Jenni had hugged her, she had placed the ring inside the purse.
was Jenni trying to frame her?

"Hello, Thanks for coming to my birthday party tonight but has anyone seen my silver necklace"Jenni asked, smirking inwardly at adrianna who had already shifted next to Wendy and when adrianna was close enough, dropped the necklace into Wendy's pocket.
