“Flavours Restaurant, please,” Sandra politely told the taxi after entering the backseat.

She just got out of work. Instead of going straight to their apartment, she decided to stop by her favorite restaurant to take out some food. She was craving roasted chicken.

She took out her phone from her bag. It has already been two days past since Dr. Laxamana gave her back her bag.

Until now, she couldn't forget everything that had happened that day. Including the handsome face of Dylan Laxamana.

Before he said goodbye that night, he'd told her he'd see him again. But of course, she knew that would never happen.

Well, unless she'd go to the hospital again. And right now, she had no plans to visit that hospital. Besides, Dylan Laxama was a pediatrician. He only treats kids!

She sighed and opened her social media application on her phone.

While scrolling through her newsfeed, she paused when she saw a familiar picture of a guy. Her ex-boyfriend Vince.

Vince was her first boyfriend. He was the first man who broke her heart. Vince ended their relationship when he and his family migrated to the States. He said he couldn't do long distance relationships.

Two years ago, Vince and her saw each other at their high school reunion.

She was already in college when she got into a relationship with Vince, but they already knew each other since high school.

After the reunion, they become on good terms with each other. They were even friends on their respective social media accounts.

Her eyes slightly widen while staring at the picture on her phone. It was Vince with a pretty woman. Their background was the famous Eiffel Tower.

My wife and I. That was the caption in his photo.

She didn't knew that Vince was already married. Well, she was happy for Vince, but at the same time, a part of her couldn't help but feel bitter.

Good for Vince, he already found his 'the one'.

Sandra took a deep breath and tried to remember the things Dylan had told her that day.

She shouldn't be envious of other people's happiness.

Dylan's words were still playing on her mind as she reached the restaurant.

She occupied the vacant table while waiting for her order.

"Oh, my God!"

A loud shriek caught her attention. At first, she had thought that an accident had happened.

But then she immediately saw the cause of ruckus. It was happening on a table a few meters away from her.

A man was kneeling in front of his girlfriend. He was proposing marriage.

“Baby, will you marry me?”

From her table, she could clearly hear the deep voice of the man.

She frowned when she realized that the man's voice was kind of familiar. She was suddenly curious.

Sandy could only see the wide back of the man. What she could clearly see from her view was his girlfriend who was already crying a bucket of tears.

“Jasmine, all my life, I thought that I could no longer find a woman whom I'll be able to love more than how I love my work. Until you came into my life...”

She stared at the man's familiar back. He reminded her of her ex-boyfriend Jake.

Jake was her third boyfriend.

Jake was a workaholic person. He was always busy with work. He broke up with her, because according to the man, he couldn't make her his priority.

“In an instant, my priorities in life changed… You become my number priority, Jasmine. And I'm willing to leave everything behind for you. Even my work."

Her lips parted as she kept on listening to him. The guy sounded like Jake...

“Yes! I will marry you, Jake!”

Oh. He was really Jake. He remained rooted to her place while watching the scene in the restaurant.

The guy put the ring on the girl's finger and pulled her in a kiss.

“Yes! She said Yes!” The guy turned around to the other customers of the restaurant.

That moment, she had finally seen the face of the man behind that voice. It was really her ex-boyfriend, Jake.

Everyone in the whole restaurant clapped their hands for the  newly engaged couple. Except for her.

Before anyone else could notice her, she already stood up and left the restaurant.

She couldn't help but let out another sigh as she glanced at Jake and his fiancée from the glass window of the restaurant.

She couldn't believe that her ex-boyfriend Jake, who was the most workaholic person she'd met in her life, was willing to ditch his work to be the woman he loves.

Even if she no longer felt something for Jake, she couldn't help but be envious of what she had witnessed.

She let out another sigh.

She took a moment standing outside of the restaurant before she decided to walk to the coffee shop just beside the restaurant.

But because she was too preoccupied with the scene she saw at the restaurant, she failed to notice the pregnant woman exiting the coffee shop.

She almost bumped into her.

“I'm sorry Miss," she sincerely apologized to her.

“It's okay.” The woman gave her a smile before she walked past her. Her eyes followed the woman. Her lips parted in disbelief when she saw the man who welcomed her.

It was Wayne. Another ex-boyfriend of her.

“Hon, I miss you.”

From where she was standing, she could clearly hear the man's familiar voice.

It was really him.

“What? I was only away for a minute and you already missed me?”

Her jaw dropped. Wayne was her fourth ex-boyfriend. She met him in a bar. Even though she was aware that he's a ladies' man, she couldn't stop herself from falling for him. He was very charming.

But her relationship with him only lasted for five months.

Wayne broke up with her because according to him, he was already getting bored with their relationship.

I'm afraid I'm not built for a serious relationship, Sandra.

Those were his exact words when he broke up with her.

During their entire relationship, it was not only once that he tried to bring her to bed.

Well, somehow, she understood him. He was a playboy. He was used to modern dating.

So when she couldn't give him what he wanted in their relationship, he broke up with her.

Ever since they broke up, she hadn't seen him again. And now, he's here. A few meters away from her. And she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
