Sandra couldn't hide her true feelings.
It's been three days since Dylan and Sandra broke up, but the pain was just getting stronger each day.
Sandra was sure, even if one hundred days had passed, the pain wouldn't fade away. It was already permanent in her heart.
Dylan was her one great love. The kind of love she has for him couldn't compare to the love she had felt for her five ex-boyfriends before him. It was the deepest kind of love she'd ever experienced in her life.
She loves Dylan so much. Even if she hates him right now, she couldn't deny that her love for him was still there.
It would be impossible for her to forget about him. It would be impossible for her feelings to fade away that quickly.
It would take a very long time. Or maybe after many years, her feelings for Dylan would still remain in her heart.
The corner of her eyes heated up when a couple occupied the seat in front of her.
They were very sweet to each other. Just like her and Dylan. Before.
No matter how much she try, she still couldn't deny that she was missing Dylan. She missed him so much.
She missed the way he looked at her, the way his eyes crinkle every time he smiled and laughed, the way he called her name, the way he cared for her. She missed his sweet hugs and kisses. She missed everything about him, especially his signature move.
She missed how Dylan would kiss her on every part of her face: her nose, her cheeks, her forehead, and her lips.
Now that Dylan and Sandra were no longer together, she knew it was impossible for her to experience those things anymore.
And every time Sandra remembers all the things that Dylan did for her, Sandra couldn't help but regret all the decisions she made.
What if she confronted Dylan? What if she gave him a chance to explain himself? What if he really has no other woman?
What if Sandra was the one who made a mistake?
Sandra shook her head. No. She was clear on what she saw.
Besides if Dylan really loves her, why did he let her go that easy? He should have chased after her. But Dylan never did that. In fact, he turned his back on her. Then after their break up, he never showed himself to her again.
That only means one thing. His feelings for her were never really that deep.
Yes, during their relationship, Sandra felt Dylan's love for her. But it wasn't deep like her feelings for him. Because if Dylan's feelings for her was really deep, he wouldn't even lie to her in the first place.
“Finally, Krista. You've finally realized that you're making a fool out of yourself by staking Dylan."
She stopped when she heard the name of her boyfriend.
Ex-boyfriend, Sandra immediately corrected herself. She turned to the two women occupying the table on her right.
She stilled when she saw that the other woman was familiar to her.
She couldn't be wrong. This was the woman who kissed Dylan. She couldn't be mistaken. It was her. She wouldn't be able to forget that face. She felt a needle prick her chest when she saw the woman up close.
She was beautiful… much prettier than her. A pang of insecurity attacked her chest.
Krista… That name was familiar to her.
Krista, that was the name of Dylan's ex-girlfriend.
She remembered that Dylan told her that it was his ex-boyfriend Krista who was the reason she found him in Dr. Ocampo's clinic that day they met.
He was hiding from the woman because she keeps on bugging him because she couldn't accept that they were no longer together.
Her heart ached more when it came to her mind that they were together again by now. Well, the woman was indeed beautiful. And very attractive. Maybe that was why Dylan couldn't reject her.
She even witnessed them together in the jewelry store.
But what does the woman mean when she said she finally cleared her mind with Dylan?
“I just finally realized now that whatever I do, he would never go back to me."
"Wow. Finally, Krista. After so many months of acting like a pathetic fool, you've finally realized your worth as a woman."
Krista shrugged. “Maybe it was really my fault that Dylan broke up with me. I became a very clingy girlfriend...Or maybe, he didn't really love me before and I just failed to notice that."
Krista sighed. “Only one thing was cleared to me now. He can't be mine anymore... He already had someone in his life...I should accept that and move on.”
"Yeah. You're a wonderful person, Krista. You definitely deserve someone better Someone who will love you with all his heart. Someone who will treat you like a queen."
Sandra's heart was beating loudly inside her chest. She started to get confused with what she was hearing.
Her mind was suddenly filled with lots of questions.
Didn't Krista and Dylan get back together? What was the meaning of the scene that she witness in the jewelry shop?
She heard Krista say that Dylan already had someone in his life.
Who is that someone in Dylan's life? Is that her? Was it her? Sandra? Was she the woman this Krista had been talking about?
“Good thing you already realized that.” said the woman Krista was talking to. “You'll find someone better for you. Just remember, never beg for a man's attention again. I can't imagine the embarrassment you felt when Dylan pushed you away the other day. Dammit. You shouldn't have kissed the man, Krista. Please don't do that again."
Dylan pushed her away? That word echoed in Sandra's mind.
Krista embarrassed herself when she kissed Dylan?
W-why? How?
Her heart thumped led widely inside her chest. What if Jana's right? What if Dylan didn't really cheat on her? What if she's wrong?
Oh, God...
