“When are you going to say yes to Dylan, Sandra?” Jana asked Sandra while they were talking on the phone.

She was in her bedroom right now, lying on the bed.

She smiled even though her friend couldn't see her. “Soon, Jana.”

“Define soon on your vocabulary, Sandra.” She could feel the excitement in her tone. “Next week? Next month? Next year?”

She sighed and bit her lower lip. “When we came back to Manila.”

“Next day? You're finally going to say yes to him tomorrow?” Her voice rose. “But you said you wanted to take it slow. It's been a week since Dylan started pursuing you. Are you sure you're already ready for a new relationship?”

“I already love him, Jana...” she admitted in a small voice. “I know it suddenly became too fast but I'm ready now.”

Dylan already proved to her hsi sincerity. During the past days, he did things she never imagined he'd do.

He sang in front of a crowd. He followed her to her hometown and stayed there with her. He even climbed a freaking tree for her.

No one had ever done those things to her.

Only Dylan.

Every time she was with Dylan, he was able to make her forget all the bitter things that she had experienced before.

He was the reason why she was happy again. He made her forget the pain she felt from her past relationships. He was able to erase all the doubts and inhibitions in her heart. He was able to heal her scared and broken heart.

Dylan's love cured her sick heart.

And now, her heart was whole again. Ready to accept only one man in her life.

She knew it was too soon. And she was also aware that he was willing to wait for her. But she was already sure of herself. She knew she was already ready.

“I'm happy for you, Sandra,” Jana told her on the other line. “You deserve to be happy again.”

“Thank you, Jana.”

After her talk with her best friend, she put down her phone and grabbed the pillow beside her. She hugged the pillow tightly while staring at the ceiling, her lips stretched in a smile.

She didn't know how long she was in that position when she heard a guitar playing.

She knew it was Cray. Her brother likes playing guitar while hanging out with her friends outside their house during the night.

“Baby, I know you're hurting...”

Her eyes widened when she heard Dylan's familiar voice.

She got up from the bed and hurriedly opened her window. Her jaw dropped on the floor when she saw Dylan outside.

He was standing there, exactly in front of her room. Behind him was her brother Dylan who was playing the guitar.

She met his eyes. He smiled at her.

She smiled back.

“Right now you feel like you could never love again. Now all I ask is for a chance to prove that I love you...”

This was not the first time that Dylan sang for her but she still couldn't help but feel amazed.

His beautiful voice sent shivers down her spine. The lyrics of the song went straight to her heart.

Every word that came out of his mouth was going straight to her heart. She could hear the deep emotions in them.

“Dylan...”

She wanted to jump out of her window and pulled him for a hug.

“I'll never break your heart…

 I'll never make you cry…

I'd rather die than live without you…

I'll give you all of me…

 Baby, that's no lie…”

She gently brushed off the tears that escape her eyes.

She couldn't contain the bunch of emotion she was feeling right now.

“Sandra...”

Dylan stopped singing when he saw the tears on her eyes.

His face was suddenly filled with worry.

But then she smiled at him before running out of her room.

“Oh my, Sandra. Dylan is really sweet, isn't he?”

She stopped when she saw her parents. They were both standing in the doorway and watching the performance Dylan put up for her.

She walked past her parents and went straight to Dylan. Without second thoughts, she threw herself at him in front of her family.

She burried her face on his chest as she finally let go of her tears.

She was being emotional again. But this time, she was crying because of joy. She wanted to thank the universe for giving her a man named Dylan Laxamana.

She had fully thought that after getting heartbroken five times, she couldn't enter a new relationship again. Then Dylan came.

“Baby...look at me.”

Dylan softly whispered as he caressed her hair.

She slowly looked at him. His eyes were full of emotion and it made her wanna cry again.

“Sandra, why are you crying?” His fingers landed on her cheeks and brushed off her tears. “Baby, I'm sorry.”

“Why are you apologizing?”

He gently caressed her face. “I just sang ‘I'll never make you cry’...but now I made you cry.”

“I’m crying because I'm happy, Dylan.” She smiled at her lovingly as another bunch of tears started to fall in her eyes. “I'm so thankful that you came into my life...I'm so glad that I met you. And I'm so bless that you fell for me...”

“Sandra...”

“I love you, Dylan. Thank you for curing my heart...”

“I love you too, baby,” he answered in a sweet voice. He rested his forehead on hers and looked at her straight in the eye. “Does it mean...”

“Yes.” She grinned heartily. “I'm giving you my heart now, Doctor Dylan Laxamana. Please, take care of it.”

“I promise, I'll take care of it, baby.” He took her hand and brought it to his lips.

Then his lips went to his forehead, then to her cheeks, her nose.

“I love you, Sandra Tolentino.”

He finally claimed her lips in a very gentle kiss.

She closed her eyes and fullheartedly answered his kiss.
