As she slid her hands down, the duo standing outside forced it onto a fence which fleshed her fingers. The duo begins laughing mercilessly while she quickly dodges back and starts crying while soothing her injury.

However, how many injuries could she soothe in? When her everyday life had become a torment for the almighty knew what reason.

“Why? Why do you keep doing this to me? What have I ever done to you!” Cindy screams in pain.

She was startled when the petite feminine figure almost clawed on the prison door. “So you still have no idea if what you've done?” Although Cindy was ridiculously terrified, she shook her head because she was literally clueless.

“It is not us with whom you did something. It's our princess. Whom you hurt. You dared to hurt Princess Azura!”

“Come on! Come you bastard. I'm not scared anymore. Not today. I'll rip you apart today!” The lady's screaming does trigger the movements as the being hiding behind finally appears.

Just as the woman was so close to hit, she was taken aback by the voice. “Azura!”

“Theo? How are you here? And most of all, why are you here? Did you just follow me all the way here?”

“Well, I did but my intentions weren't wrong I–”

“Hush…” Azura interrupts the man's speech and he looks in perplexity. Which the lady soon cleared away as she says. Or more like asks, “Did you hear that?"

Theo raises his brows. “Hear what?”

“The howling. They're right here. Around us. Among us.”

Azura stood ahead Theo protectively as a soft chuckle released out of his lips.

He was about to perk in playfully but he instead got terrified by the look on the lady's face. She was just as horrified.

Though, her reaction swifts instantly agitated to aggressive as she lifts her weapon up and lands an attack.

Theo feels the wetness of red substance over his cheeks before he acknowledges that it was blood. Blood of a wolf. Precisely, a helpless wolf who was being brutally battered by Azura.

“You. Bloody monster! This is what you deserve. For taking many innocent lives!” Screams Azura in utter rage while plunging over the fur of the creature.

Because of the extreme shock Theo had of this state of the lady, he just remained still even though he wanted to stop her.

“It's your turn to be taken away. Not really taken but rather abducted. To be abducted by me!”

Just as Azura was about to spare another attack with her spear, Theo fortunately managed to collect himself and prevent Azura.

“Azura, wait! You're going to kill it!”

“Well that's what it deserves then!”

Theo glares at Azura as the blood flows through eyes to her hair. Honestly, the drops of blood, or could say a miniature pool of blood was already shattered around them.

Both of Azura and Theo looked like some ruthless psychoa from some underground slaughter house. Just the difference was, Theo looked dubious with the entire event while Azura definitely looked like some horrifying witch from some nightmare in the daytime.

“Gosh! Just stop!” Theo impels Azura away from the dying animal.

Well, he wasn't sure if it was dying or just heavily wounded. So, he proceeded to check on it and upon examining, he got his answer.

“It's dead! It's hideously dead. You freaking killed it, Azura!”

It was definitely clear that Theo loathed the death of the creature. Even hated Azura at some point after this act of her. But, it was also obviously uncertain as to why?

“Yes! Yes I did. But you know what, Theo? It's not killing when you do it for justice. For revenge. For a fair stance. It's vengeance.”

A short pause of seconds took silence before Azura dreadfully added. “Besides, why does it even matter so much to you? It's just a darn animal and that too a wild and violent one. Was he your pet? Your friend or your family!”

Of course, the rage in the man's eyes was getting ridiculously high. Azura swore that it looked as if he could kill her right there just like how she did with the wolf a moments ago. Especially after her shower of great words.

“Fuck your vengeance!” Snarls Theo as he pushes Azura aggressively.

The lady almost tripped on her spot but managed to keep her hold through the snowy and puffy surface. She stares at Theo shockingly because of what he just did.

Surprisingly, his action wasn't as shocking as his reaction. Just a while ago, it seemed to appear that the said man was just mad because Azura took the life of an innocent animal but now, his emotions have become even more strange.

He looked hurt. He looked harmed and most of all, he looked grievous. As if… As if it was not just some wolf which died but rather someone from his contact. Someone which he related to. Someone from his family… “No…” Whispers the man with not much sense.

But it soon begins to make sense when he speaks, or more like yells further. “No. It wasn't my pet. Nor my friend and definitely not my family. But, it was a being. A living being just like us!”

Well, Theo wasn't entirely wrong. At least not in his perspective. So, Azura just stood still to hear what the latter was about to let out.

“It was a poor animal who couldn't even speak itself out. Wild or mild, it doesn't matter. You asked me why did it matter to me. Now I'd want to ask you! Why do you hate them so much, Azura?” Theo breaks on his interrogation but was only welcomed with silence as the lady chose to clench her fists as a response. This triggered Theo even more.

“Why only the existence of a wolf hurt you so much that you did something like that? Why do you hate wolves? Why!”

“Because their presence around us is the reason why my mother isn't around us anymore! They slaughtered my mother. Slaughtered her to death!”
