Ch. 6Chapter 6

Blanchette woke up with the sun flickering through the gab of the curtains. She sat up and saw Jerimiah sitting in a chair staring at her.
“Jerimiah, where am I?” Blanchette looks around confused.
“My bedroom.”
Blanchette remembers what happened last night and looks at her tummy. She lifts her bloody torn shirt and sees that there is no trace of the gunshot wound, “how is this possible?”
Jerimiah speeds off to one of the other rooms and before Blanchette realized that he was gone he returned with a shirt that he thinks is in her size, “here is a clean shirt. I will explain everything on the way back to your grandmother.”
“How did I get here?”
“Get dressed, I will explain on the way.”
While Blanchette got dressed she remembers something disturbing, ‘did I drink his blood last night?’
“Jerimiah?” She called out to him as she leaves his bedroom.
“In here,” Jerimiah calls out to her from the kitchen.
“Coffee?” he reaches for a mug.
“No thank you. I want an explanation. I drank your blood last night and now I am as good as new.”
“Come, let's go,” Jerimiah puts down the mug and grabs the car keys that he found while he was cleaning. During the night while Blanchette was sleeping, he spent time checking all the cars, motorbikes, and some scramblers, making sure everything works.
Blanchette looked at all the sports cars and bikes, remembering how Jerimiah’s family was car fanatics. Jerimiah unlocked the 2013 Ferrari 458 Italia Starting and opens the passenger door for her.
“Thank you,” she says as she is getting in.
Once on the road, Blanchette asked one question of the other, “where have you been the past year?”
“Roaming around in my wolf form,” Jerimiah tells her the truth knowing it does not matter as he will be compelling her when they get to her grandmother's house. Jerimiah is surprised that her whole pack didn’t show up last night at his house.
“Wolf-form?” Blanchette asks confused.
Jerimiah tried his best to enlighten her but it was no use.
When they arrived at her grandmother's cottage, her grandmother is nowhere to be seen, “what is going on here? Where is my grandmother?” Blanchette asked the group of people standing on her porch.
Jerimiah recognized some of the people from before he shifted the first time, “I take it Elizabeth finally gave in and allow you to shift into your human form?”
“Not really. I am the pack Beta,” one of the men extended his hand to Jerimiah and then to Blanchette.
“You all must be in on this sick joke,” Blanchette says, almost angry as she walks into her grandmother's cottage.
“Grandmother!” Blanchette cries out when she sees her grandmother tied to a chair. Blanchette quickly unties her grandmother.
“Invite Jerimiah in,” the Beta demands.
“I am still your Alpha!” Elizabeth says angrily.
The next moment Jerimiah feels a strange calling in his soul, right before he feels his mind cluttered with a whole lot of voices, “I accept you as my Alpha.” One voice after another fills his head and he is not able to block them out.
When the voices finally stopped, Jerimiah opened his eyes, “I am your Alpha.”
“You might be a hybrid but you are also a True-bloodline-alpha, and since you mated with Blanchette you are destined to rule our pack,” the Beta says.
“Blanchette is too young for all of this!” Elizabeth shouts out.
“The two territories are now joined, you are all free to live as you wish. You will not make yourself known to Blanchette as Werewolves until I say she is ready. If your old homes are not vacant then you are more than welcome to find a house on your new territories, all should be vacant but it will be up to you to fix them up,” Jerimiah says with authority just how his father taught him when they expected he that he will one day take over their pack.
“Are you insane?! He is a vampire!” Elizabeth shouts.
“I am a Werewolf first! I did not choose this!” Jerimiah snarls at her.
“What is going on?!” Blanchette shouts, panicked and confused.
“Elizabeth, you have a choice; either you accept me as Alpha willingly and never shift back into a wolf ever again or I compel you!” Jerimiah grabs Elizabeth by her neck.
The pack members just stand around and refuse to help Elizabeth. The pack members already saw Jerimiah in his wolf form and know that he will be a great leader despite the fact that he is a Hybrid.
“I accept willingly,” Elizabeth barely gets out.
“Let her go!” Blanchette tries to pull Jerimiah off her grandmother.
Jerimiah lets go of Elizabeth, leaving her gasping for air.
"Everyone leave, I will mind-link you for our first official pack meeting," Jerimiah orders everyone to leave and they obey.
Jerimiah turns to Blanchette, "Blanchette, you believe the last twelve hours of your life was one crazy dream. Go to bed and set your alarm to go off at nine and don't get out of bed until it does. Allow yourself to fall asleep."
Jerimiah is about to leave when he turns on his heel to face Elizabeth, "I reject you as a pack member, you are unable to seek a new pack and you will ignore the Alpha callings. You will not uninvite me to your house, you will not use a de-compelling hymm or Shaman mixture," he compelled her playing it safe.
Elizabeth feels defeated but does not have the will to take reverence.
Jerimiah leaves the cottage and drives to the nearest DIY store to get some supplies to fix up his family home that will also serve as his pack headquarters. On his way home he mind-linked his new pack to schedule a meeting later in the day.
Jerimiah decided to wait till night time so that he can use Vampire speed to fix up his family home.
Blanchette woke up to her alarm clock at nine in the morning. She stretched out before switching her alarm off. Blanchette found her grandmother baking away in the kitchen, not a trace of the commotion that went down earlier.
