Ch. 4CHAPTER 4

"I'm sorry, aren't you go to school?" apologizing for it, she seemed to have realized what she had been done.

I didn't answer her. I pretended that I didn't hear her and just turn off the fire before taking out a bowl. She moved on my side but my attention was on the translation of what was cooked in the bowl.

"Celcel, are you going to school or not?" she asked irritably.

I sighed and frowned. I don't think she would be happy if I won't gonna answer her.

"This afternoon, just one subject."

My sister was silent. Her gaze remained on the floor, I let her go and started arranging the table. I thought she wouldn’t speak anymore but wrong, she just gave me more problem with the next thing she said.

“Before they leave do you want me to ask them to send you to school? Which of them is your type? Is it West, the one with green eyes? Or Callisto, the one with chocolate eyes? If not! Maybe you can choose Rigel, he's so handsome with his freckles!” she exclaimed and giggles.

I stopped dropping the bowl and looked at her secretly. She smiles like she just won the jackpot prize.

I sighed. She just saw a handsome man, and she was immediately thrilled. So we are fooled. I looked at her angrily and asked.

“Are you serious sister? Are you kidding me? ” I stared at the her blankly.

Her lips parted, she approached me and leaned slightly on the table, the she gave me sharp glance.

Is that the effect of being hurt? Looks like she needs a glow up. She needs to heal all of her invisible wounds.

“What?! You're overacting! I just suggested, after all, you're NBSB and maybe you have a type,” she seemed to say nothing and waved her hand.

Is she crazy? She thought it would be easy to choose from the three? It's easy, if Callisto is the only choice.

Shut it, Celeste!

Thinking about him made me in trouble. I was violently shaken and quickly went to the sink, my sister even called me but I did not look at her. My hand was still shaking when I turned on the faucet and washed my face with water.

I closed my eyes tightly. Why was that man staring like that and why was his voice like that? I find it hard to erase him from my mind. It would have been better if he hadn't been included here.

“Celcel, are you in trouble? I won't insist if you don't want to.” My sister nodded, then shook her head at what I had done.

I cringed. It is really hard to pretend that someone isn’t invading your mind, when all this time you can get them out of your head!

Guilty. I guiltily looked at her. Even though she doesn't know what's on my mind, I feel like her eyes are questioning me. I shook my head before I turned away and arranged the plates on the table again.

I bit my lower lip. Her eyes are streaked with forgiveness, but mad. I almost didn’t notice it again. She focus on setting the table.

I sighed and quietly helped. Avoiding mistakes. I don't think my answer to her was good. She's quiet.

I was still thinking about how I could talk to her again but we were already distracted by the approaching footsteps. Trembling wrapped my chest again, especially when Callisto's critical look appeared on my mind.

Callisto.

I walked back to the kitchen but walked back to the table again at the thought of doing nothing. Annoyed, I stopped and leaned to the table.

Why would why I avoid him? I did not do anything bad.

I didn't plan to talk to any Callisto's friends this morning, they came over and that make me wanted ti hide.

"How are you, Celcel?" the one with green eyes asked.

My lips parted, and just looked at my sister who was looking at me with distaste.

I look away and blushed after seeing my Aunty's guests in the kitchen and looking at me critically.

I swallowed an invisible lump and looked away again. I tried to take a deep breath but could not calm down.

"Is there something wrong?" the one with freckles curiosly asked.

I bent down and shook slightly. I simply looked around. My eyes were looking for the man I had talked to earlier in the morning but he was not in the group. I seem to have been pulled by a thorn because of that.

I looked up and gave a simple smile.

"Nothing. I'm sorry, let's eat, ” I apologized.

I showed them the chairs. I even move away slightly to give way for them to sit.

The table is long, My sister, Aunty, and I are on the left side. On the right are the men, except for my father who is already at work. West and Rigel were side by side in front of my aunt, the driver was in front of me and on the other side were the other two girl visitors.

I looked again at those sitting and finally realized that Callisto was not there. Are you they still jogging?

"Where's Callisto?" aunt asked West. Auntie seemed to hear the question on my mind.

"In the back of the house," West replied politely before snorting.

Backyard? That was Jelly's house. Do they really jogged or did something else?

"Celcel, call him first so he can eat before leaving."

I stopped chewing and pointed my finger to myself. Why me? We weren't even close.

“I think we don’t need to call him. He’s busy…. With Jelly. ” Rigel shrugged.

Busy with Jelly? What's that? They bathe together and then eat together? I would have almost laughed out loud if I hadn’t just restrained myself.

I won’t be surprised if they later have a relationship. I shrugged but West just confirmed what I thought with his sudden speech.

“He’ll gonna eat Jelly!” West answered within a second.
