Ch. 20Chapter 20

Joanna is a cleaner in their classroom for today. Her classmates ran away from heragain in this task so she was the only one to clean their classroom.
She checked on every seat because there might be something left in their class of equipment. They have a lost and found box inside their classroom that when you clean and you find something your classmate uses, you are obliged to put the possession inside.
She was already at Kayden's table. She looked at the young man's desk. She was sad because Kayden no longer noticed her. She also noticed that her crush is always with this one girl from the other class. To her recollection, her name was Claire.
"Geez." She sat down at Kayden's table. She dug under the table where they could put something like a book or notebook. She was surprised when she found a cellphone. She picked up the phone and looked at the phone case.
Its phone case is black and the design is skull. It is owned by Kayden. How can he leave his phone in this classroom?
She tried opening the phone but was blocked by a passcode lock. The passcode is six digits. He typed random numbers but still refused to open his phone. He noticed at the bottom the sign that said "forgot password?". He pressed it.
"Birthday of your first love," she said at the clue that the passcode lock said.
She started thinking critically for a minute. Who is Kayden's first love?
She typed 09-09-00 because it was Aubrey's birthday. To her surprise, the cellphone opened.
She knew Aubrey's birthday because previously they had been at a conflict. That's really the way it is, isn't it? When you hate someone, you know more things about that person more than those people who love them.
"The phone is easy to open," she whispered to herself.
She navigated her eyes all over the apps installed in his phone. Of course, she no longer expected that he would not find the “Mobile Legends” that the young man had always played.
What made her curious the most is his messages. She went to the young man's Messenger application. The first message is from Claire. She back read into Kayden and Claire's conversation.

Claire: I’m really nervous,
Kayden. What if someone
finds out about what we did?

Kayden: Don't worry.
If anything happens
to us, I'll convince my
parents to bribe that
stupid school.

Claire: Is it not
corruption?

Kayden: Lol, I don't really
care. That's not my
family’s absence.

Kayden: anyway, I want
you to get the key to
correction from your
teacher's desk. Clutter
the desk so it really
seems like someone barged in.

Claire: hahaha
I am really nervous,
Kayden.

Kayden: You can just
tell me if you don't want to.

Claire: No, I'll do it :)

Kayden: Good.

It was as if her heart was beating fast in her chest. Add a lot of sweat dripping down her forehead even though the rotating fan above her is still facing her .
She was turned off at the conversation she saw of Kayden and Claire. Now, it makes sense why the two seem to be close. The two were great because they did so convincingly. However, Joanna felt really bad for Miller. She noticed that the young man was kind when he married Aubrey in the fake wedding booth of their section because he refused the lips to lips kiss to Aubrey.
She picked up the cellphone and hurried back to the conversation she had read earlier. She took photos of the conversations.
Now, she has lost her annoyance with Aubrey because it has been replaced by pity and empathy. It’s prevalent throughout senior high school that Miller is a smart person and it must hurt for him to be falsely accused of something he didn’t do. Especially if it’s something that’s not very him – he performs really well at school.
She will first take the right timing and expose Kayden and Claire to what they are doing wrong. If Kayden is so manipulative during a small relationship, what more if he already has a girlfriend or husband?
She turned off Kayden's cell phone and put it back under the young man's desk.

Tomorrow. Aubrey invited Miller to the school cafeteria for a “heart to heart” talk. When they finished ordering and receiving the food, the two sat down at the table for two.
Aubrey touched the young man's neck. His body temperature is no longer hot. Aubrey smiled. "Are you feeling well?" she asked.
“Yes. My girlfriend took really good care of me, and that’s why I’m perfectly fine already,” Miller teased her. Aubrey slapped him lightly.
"Wow."
What they ordered for today is delicious. For Aubrey, she bought a mechado and a bottle of iced tea. Miller did not eat. He bought mac and cheese together with a large okinawa milktea.
"You. Why aren’t you eating rice anymore? You just recovered from a sickness. You should eat more rice,” Aubrey preached.
Miller laughed. "Macaroni is also a carbohydrate so it's okay."
The two went back to eating. Aubrey couldn’t help but overthink how she would tell her boyfriend that her mommy wanted to end their relationship.
"Miller." The young man stopped eating when Aubrey pronounced his name.
Miller raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Yes?"
“I was grounded. I don’t know when I will be able to recover all my gadgets. I just wanted to tell you that since you might contact me through my social networking sites,” she explained. Aubrey looked extremely gloomy which made Miller worried.
“Don't worry. I haven't used social media platforms in a while, ”said Miller. "And it's enough to see you every day at school."
Aubrey shuddered at what she heard. However, her heart that feels morose pulled that emotion down.
She is torn between her mother's condition and her love for Miller. Of course, because it's her mother, she must obey her. However, her mother knows nothing about the problem. Not even half of it.
She can't give up her love for Miller just for Kayden's manipulation of them.
