Ch. 11Chapter 11

It's the 15th of February. Miller successfully purchased two concert tickets online for the Fifth Harmony concert this March. He still needs to take courage to make Aubrey happy.
He is currently waiting in line. He was at the very end of the queue and five people lined up here in the cafeteria. He is planning to buy himself iced tea and mac and cheese because he does not want to eat rice today.
"Is that you, Miller?"
He turned around when he heard a familiar voice. It was Aubrey. He was surprised because she was not with her friends. Miller just nodded to simply respond to her.
"The weather is so hot, right?" She gasped.
“Um–yes. . .” Miller simply replied because he didn't know what to say to the girl.
He felt like this was the perfect time to ask her out for the Fifth Harmony concert. He is still nervous about rejection. His fingers trembled and he felt his sweat dripping from his forehead.
“Aubrey, I just wanted to ask if you want to come with me in March. . . ”
The girl smiled at him. She inquired, “Let me see if I am available. Where are we going, though?"
He didn't expect that answer.
“Ah, uhm. . . ” Miller is even more nervous because he feels like Aubrey is expecting something.
“I bought two tickets for Fifth Harmony's concert. I was wondering if you want to come with me? ” He forced a smile. Aubrey's jaw dropped.
"Did you buy me a ticket?" the girl asked incredulously.
Miller's first instinct is to deny that. It's true that Miller bought that ticket for the two of them and Aubrey but he doesn't want her to know that. "B-because my sister was actually going with me, it didn't matter when I bought it, but she said she might not go because she’s going somewhere. . ."
"Is that so?" asked Aubrey. Miller nodded. Miller thought he was a terrible liar. He wants to disappear now. "I'll just pay for the extra ticket so your money won’t be wasted."
"No!" Miller's objection startled Aubrey. “You don't have to pay. It’s fine with me, we're already getting closer. ”
"Really?" Aubrey's unbelievable confirmation. She leaned in closer to him. Next thing he knew the girl was hugging him.
No. Can not. He can’t help feeling - it’s as if his heart is going to burst! He froze in that position.
"Thank you so much, Miller!" Aubrey left the hug. Aubrey closed her eyes and sobbed. Due to shock, Miller bit his lower lip. He placed his hand on Aubrey's right shoulder and asked, "Are you okay, Aubrey?"
Aubrey sobbed. “I’m fine, Miller. I'm just happy. ” Aubrey removed her hand from her face.
Miller smiled. He wants to treasure this moment. The girl he is in love with is thankful towards him.

Bonding day every Thursday for friends. They typically go to Skyler's house because in the young man's house they are most comfortable. They usually just gossip there or cook meals until they are completely full.
Aubrey was already near the gate. The three of them will still be cleaning because they are among the cleaners for this day. Aubrey didn't mind this at all. Today is Thursday and they don't have to go to school every Friday. It is difficult to study here. If they are asked for feedback, she may write that it is "pure torture to the student".
A few minutes had passed and the three were still nowhere to be found. Aubrey looked at her wrist watch. 12 minutes after cleaning the three aren’t anywhere which is odd.
She decided to go out the gate and just wait outside. She turned to his right and noticed Miller sitting up, watching a cat eat. The girl approached to talk to Miller.
"That’s a cute cat," said Aubrey. She also sat on the floor. She looked at his face, but he's making little to no eye contact at all. "Did you feed it?" she asked.
“Ah, yes,” he spoke quietly.
Aubrey loved moments like this. The surroundings were quiet and there was no trace of stress on her body. She looked at Miller's face. She remembered the time she was still intrigued by the young man. Since Miller and she were able to talk in depth, she changed her mind about the young man.
She thinks that she's starting to adore him. The young man was shy but that's what Aubrey liked about him. The way he speaks is so soft and quiet - it seems like it's fun to listen to. Even though the young man is mysterious, his feelings are always painted on his face. That's Aubrey's attention. Whenever happy, Miller’s smile seemed like an innocent baby’s. When embarrassed or lonely, it frowns.
"Ehem!"
Aubrey looked up when she heard her friend Erin's voice. He stood up. "God, you guys are too slow," Aubrey complained.
"That’s fine, you were entertained by your boyfriend anyway," Faith teased, pointing her fingers at Miller who was looking at them now. Aubrey hit him.
“I'll go home now, Aubrey. I'll just give you the tickets next week. ” From sitting down, Miller stood up and arranged his backpack.
Aubrey nodded. “Sure. Take care!" Aubrey said. She waved her hands at Miller. In response, he just nodded.

How delicious Skyler cooks food for their friends. He is making kimchi fried rice. He saw a recipe online and he also watched videos on how to make it. It's simple; you will make the normal fried rice then add kimchi. It depends on your taste how much kimchi you want to put in. Since there were four of them to eat, he had already put all the kimchi they had bought earlier in a Korean store.
"It's delicious when combined with fried eggs," said Aubrey.
Erin liked that idea. "After Skyler cooks, let's cook an egg," he said.
When Skyler finished cooking, he put in a large cup the kimchi fried rice he had made. Erin cleaned the frying pan that Skyler used so they could cook eggs. After cleaning it, sheput it on the stove. She opened the stove and poured cooking oil.
They didn't take long to cook the eggs. Erin placed four eggs on a plate and laid them on the dining table.
Four of them sat.. Faith exclaimed, "It's delicious!"
They scooped up kimchi fried rice one by one. After that, they take an egg there on a plate. How delicious is the smell of kimchi fried rice! And then, add the runny egg they cooked. It’s such a perfect meal.
Faith cleared her throat. She pointed at Aubrey. "You," she said. “There is something you haven’t told us. Come on, spill it. ”
“Huh? What's that?" Aubrey asked, confused.
“What was that ticket that Miller mentioned earlier? You're going on a date, aren't you? ” Faith teased her.
Aubrey was relieved when she learned the reason for Faith's doubts. "We're going to the Fifth Harmony concert."
Erin's eyes widened. “Oh my God, seriously? Is he giving you tickets for free? ” Erin asked.
“I don’t really know. He said, he got tickets for him and his sister. But when he was able to order a ticket, his sister just said that she was not available. That's why he thought of me. Maybe he thought of including me because I also posted about their upcoming concert, ”Aubrey explained.
"When's the concert?" Skyler asked.
"March 6." Faith took out her cellphone. She tapped the calendar application and searched for March 6th. It's Tuesday. That means they have to miss class or they have to rush to Manila after classes.
“I hope I was in a relationship like you,” Skyler jokes.
“What are you talking about? Miller and I are not together yet, ”Aubrey denounced what Skyler said.
“Not yet,” emphasized Faith.
Aubrey was stunned. "Here we go again."
