Ch. 10Chapter 10: Evade so as not to meet

Anyone can see that Christopher has a very small status, Aretha has been pursuing luxury brands since childhood, just looking at Christopher's clothes is a limited edition of major international brands, tie, brooch and even the gold watch worn on the wrist are all world-class goods, from top to bottom there is nothing that does not show his noble status.

Having lived here for so long, she didn't know that this city still hid a handsome and noble man whose temperament was not inferior to Simon's.

That day only focused on insulting Arianne, not too much about his clothes.

"This geezer, has such a predestined relationship, let's sit down and have a cup of coffee together", Aretha almost forgot that he was Arianne's man, also forgetting that she had just handed Arianne the invitation, flirting with people.

Gigi who was next to him was soon attracted to Christopher and David's handsome looks, and when she said that, he immediately nodded in support: "That's right, let's have a cup of coffee."

Christopher glanced at her identical face to Arianne, hesitated for a moment, then smiled faintly: "No, happy wedding."

Christopher took two steps, then stopped, turned his head to look at her: "Yes, thanks for the photo you took that day, very beautiful."

Aretha froze for a moment, a troubled expression on her face.

Without giving Gigi time to ask for contact information, Christopher passed her and headed out the door of the cafe.

"Goodbye, you two beauties," David gave the two of them a warm smile and quickly chased after Christopher.

"Cousin, why didn't you tell him to leave his number?", Gigi stared at their backs and left, stamping his feet impatiently.

Aretha glared at her, her face unsightly.

As the group exited the cafe, Christopher swept his eyes to see Arianne had already crossed the street to wait for the bus, without even turning around to say: "Didn't Elizabeth only have one daughter? Help me find out what that woman is?"

Arianne had said that day she was her sister, but he was very suspicious now.

Assistant Hoang quickly nodded: "Yes, young master."

After assistant Hoang left, David asked curiously: "Cousin, don't say you've been married for so long, and you still haven't met their sister-in-law?"

Christopher did not answer his question, but asked with a frown: "Are you happy to insult me?"

This is what Arianne said to David just now, he just borrowed it.

David scratched his head with his hand and smiled wryly: "I'm just happy, can't help but want to play with them a little."

Christopher walked into the parking lot, David followed in his footsteps still chuckling: "But I see that their sister-in-law is also very poor, being bullied like that, and there is no protest action. ".

Christopher opened the car door, turned to look at him: "You drive yourself home".

"Why?"

"No reason at all". As soon as the car door opened and closed, Christopher got in the car, then started the car and left.

Having been destroyed by Aretha like that, Arianne no longer has any interest in walking around the street, after parting with Adele, she stood by the side of the road waiting for a taxi because there was no bus on the way to William's house, she could only call a taxi.

However, after waiting for two rides, the other party as soon as they heard that they were going to William's house shook their heads and refused, the reason being that William's house was quite far away, and on the way back, they could not catch customers.

Seeing that the time was still early, she was bored anyway, so Arianne was walking on the street alone.

My vision was a bit blurry, after a while I realized that there was water in my eyes, I don't know if it was because of the news that Simon and Aretha were engaged, or felt sad about my fate.

Or was it because he was so angry earlier?

The car horn suddenly sounded on the left, she turned her head and saw a nobleman in the car who didn't know if he was considered an acquaintance or not. What does he mean? Are you going to say hello?

"Get in the car, I'll take you home," Christopher said calmly.

He had just heard that he wanted to take a trip to William's house, so he could take her home by the way.

Arianne took a breath, refusing to say: "No need, thank you."

What happened in the cafe just now, he must have seen it all, was it because of her pity that he did that? But Arianne she had never needed anyone else's pity. More than that, if a man and a woman were to be unmarried, if William's family knew that she was in a handsome guy's car, they would definitely misunderstand.

"Are you sure?"

Arianne stopped walking, turned to look at him with dignity, and replied: "Sir, you must have heard it last time, I am married."

"I'm married too, so what?" Christopher frowned.

"Then you shouldn't have taken me home," Arianne let out a sentence, then stepped forward quickly.

Christopher watched her figure move forward, immediately stepped on the gas, and drove past her.

Christopher looked over to where she was standing, barely uttering a word: "Medication…"

Medicine? Yes, you still have medicine.

Arianne now remembers Ha once told her, if she meets Christopher when she is sick, she must immediately give him medicine.

She frantically crawled up from the corner of the room, then pulled out a box of pills from a drawer and popped one into his mouth.

The drug worked very quickly, Christopher quickly calmed down after taking the medicine, holding his arm and lying motionless, like he was sleeping standing up.

Seeing that he didn't move, Arianne retreated back to the corner of the room to let out a sigh but still didn't put the vase in her hand down.

She just sat in the corner of the room, holding a flower vase, staring at the figure on the bed without blinking.

Twenty minutes later, she saw the figure on the bed move, so it was difficult for the spirit to relax and the tension again.

Christopher got out of bed, walked quickly in front of her, looked at her covered by the night, and sneered: "Afraid?"

Arianne's mouth dropped open, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't afraid!

She looked at Christopher, but she couldn't make out the expression on his face, nor guess what he was thinking.

"Brother…". Arianne put down the vase in her hand, struggled to get up from the corner of the room, her legs so numb all night that she could barely stand up straight. Her body leaned forward, let out a low cry, and fell against Christopher.

Christopher grabbed her arm with his hand, biting her earlobe and whispering: "I thought you weren't like them, but it turned out that you were also afraid of making your legs soft."

"Didn't you say that normally you wouldn't get sick? Trick me?" Arianne tensed her whole body, frowning.

The corner of Christopher's mouth moved, his eyes darkening slightly: "Last night… was unintentional."

Feeling her slightly trembling body, he laughed mockingly, he purposely hugged her body tightly.

Arianne is both embarrassed and scared, do you know after all... you're naked, can't you put on your clothes first...

"You… aren't you cold? Do you need to put on some clothes?" she reminded me well.

The meaning of the words was very clear, tell him to put on his clothes and go back to his room.

"It's not cold, hug her and it won't be cold." Christopher continued to place his lips on hers, kissing her gently, the more she feared him, the more he liked to be near her.

Then he turned around and pushed her back on the bed.

"Don't be like that...", there was some resistance in her words.

"Why can't that be? You're my wife."

"Enough!", Arianne suddenly got angry and pushed his body, got up from the bed and looked at him: "You keep saying I'm your wife, have you fulfilled your duty as a husband? I've been married to you for half a month, you can come when you need it, when you don't need it, leave me alone in this house, regardless of whether I live or die, even my face won't let me see, you..."

Arianne could no longer speak, so angry that tears welled up in her eyes.

"Do I care whether you live or die?" Christopher couldn't see the tears in her eyes, but could hear her choked sobs.

"Why not? That night I was from the street and was almost threatened with death, he didn't even come to ask me." Arianne wiped her tears and continued to condemn: "Even if my father sold me to you, but after all, he is your wife, why can't you show me what you look like?"

"Do you want to see that? Aren't you afraid of being scared by me?", Christopher laughed, thinking about the fact that at the cafe, he knew that this girl was curiously told by David, and wanted to see his appearance even more.

After experiencing the incident at the coffee shop, he suddenly found it very interesting.

Arianne gaped, it was true that she was a bit worried about being intimidated by him, but inside she was really curious, especially after hearing David say that, she really wanted to see how ugly Christopher was.

"Actually… as long as you're nice to me, I won't mind how bad you are", she suddenly comforted him.

Simon is handsome, but what about the result? Aren't you still running to Aretha's side?

"So you don't have to run away from meeting, after all, it's a husband and wife, sooner or later you will have to see it."

Seeing him say nothing, Arianne hesitantly raised her small hand, caressed his face: "If you don't want me to see your appearance, that's fine, let me touch it."

Her slender fingers brushed his face little by little, clearly a face with clear lines, how could it be ugly? What's more, is it so bad that you don't dare to meet anyone?

"Touched what?" he suddenly asked.

Arianne shook her head: "Impossible."

"Then don't touch." Christopher pushed her small hand away and rolled over onto the bed.

He didn't want to have too much contact with her, even more, didn't want to make her remember him, anyway she was not his destined lover in this life, he and she would have to be apart sooner or later.

He couldn't sympathize with her because he was at the cafe, letting her do whatever she wanted in front of him.
