Ch. 1Jamie and JT

Jamie Venus sits in the campus canteen that is already half full of students playing with a piece of her long wavey honey brown hair, turning it between her elegant long fingers with perfectly French tipped fingernails. Her jade green eyes staring out of the nearby window at the clear blue sky today has to offer. Jamie sips on her juice before taking a bite of her Greek salad. She loves food but, on the days, she does not go to the gym or for a run she limits her carb intake to take care of her good figure. She is not shy to show what the goddess Aphrodite has blessed her with; a C-cup breast, a size 8 waistline, and a rear end that is borderline African goddess with perfect shaped legs thanks to the hours spent jogging. Champagne brown skin that shimmers easily after it’s been kissed by the sun on a day on the beach, which would be every Saturday and some Sundays after lunch with her family.
Jamie Venus had a luxury-filled childhood with earthly things but also love from her still very much in love with each other parents and siblings and she is forced to have Sunday lunch with them if she wants to continue receiving her large unnecessary allowance. Because of her parents’ generous allowance, she gets to be part of the top Sorority house on Campus and even though she got voted in as the next Head sister she declined as she just can’t let such a huge responsibility interfere with her lust for life. The last thing she needs is Sorority duties taking up her time.
Jamie is a B+ student, even though she could do better if she spent as much time in front of her books as she is spending it seeking the next big thrill in life. Since her parents only require all their children to maintain a B grade, Jamie is not bothered to do better. The more time she has to have fun and enjoy life the better.
Jamie shares the Sorority house with five other girls but because she is in her final year, she gets to have her own room. The Sorority house has four bedrooms; one that is shared by 2 second-year students Helena Aetos and Ismena Cholors , one that is shared by 2 third year students; Karisa Elias, and Delphine Halkias, and two rooms for herself and the Head sister; Callista Leventis, that is also fourth year and the closest thing she has to a best friend. Even though the house only houses six Sorority sisters they are a total of thirty-five sisters on campus with the rest of the sisters either staying off-campus in student housing or in the dorms.
It is only when Jamie lifts her head to take a fork full of green to her mouth when she notices the piercing blue eyes of the guy she ran into earlier, on her, along with the rest of the football team’s eyes.
Jamie Thorn; aka, JT just made friends with the University’s football team because of his killer football skills. He fits right in with them with his tall body, build like a Greek god, jet black neatly styled hair, sun-kissed skin, his perfect Greek nose, and thin lips that reveal a dashing white smile. He does not look away when Jamie V catches him looking at her and had to crack a smile when she sticks her tongue out at them.
JT made the spontaneous decision to follow his girlfriend which is now his ex-girlfriend across the continent from Spain to Greece and is still suffering a little bit from a broken heart.
JT started working at the age of sixteen to pay his own school fees and help his mother pay the bills. His older sister by seven years has already left home and got married. Even though his older sister, Anastasia, and her husband, Augustus Mavros have invited him and his mother, also named Anastasia, to come to stay with them to get away from his alcoholic father he never could bring himself to completely abandon his father. It was only at the age of eighteen when his father died that his mother left to stay with his sister and her husband. JT already managed to work himself from waiter to assistant manager in a restaurant and earned enough to take care of himself. He always felt like his sister thought she was his parent, and he could not exactly blame her as she did help him with all his schoolwork, bath time, and bedtime routine as their mother had to work long hours to try and cover all the bills.
JT felt as long as his father doesn’t harm him, his sister, or his mother he really didn’t care how much his father drank, if it helped to keep the demons of World War two at bay then that is all that mattered to him.
JT worked at a well-established restaurant and it was shortly after his eighteen birthdays that the restaurant owner’s daughter came around one day, all the way from Spain where she resides with her mother that was divorced from her father.
Voilet Papatonis was the most pinned-up girl JT has ever met. She really did not look like the daughter of Mr. Papatonis. Her neatly tied up smoky blond hair matched her perfectly black-lined amber-brown eyes and her smooth flawless sand tone skin. Voilet immediately fell for JT’s good looks, from the moment she first laid eyes on him but it took a few dates and spending all of his paychecks on her before winning her superficial heart. Voilet was back in Greece for only a few months when she became homesick and wanted to return to Spain. With a referral letter from Mr. Papatonis, JT followed Voilet to Spain. Their relationship had its ups and downs as Voilet always had something to complain about but mostly about money and the fact that JT is spending his money to pay for his studies in Greek Mythology instead of spending it on her.
