Shubh's POV

Vikram Ji was looking at her with so much love in his eyes but sandy was looking downwards only. He bent a bit towards her and said something.

She must have been shocked to hear his voice as she immediately looked at him.

She was looking confused and said something in a hushed voice. I could see that she had started getting very irritated.

He presented her with a rose bouquet. She was very confused and was hesitant a bit. Vikram Ji bent on one knee and offered the flowers to her again, she looked shocked but took it.

Everyone clapped and she looked at me as I was standing there. He just winked at her.

He got up and bent towards her again and whispered something again. She looked shocked but kept quiet as everyone had come really close. She looked at her parents and then Vikram ji's. She was shocked as hell.

They kept whispering till his friend teased them asked to get engaged first. Everyone started laughing.

I tried to look anywhere but her, but my eyes wanted to see just her. Her dress was a bit bold but looked so good on her. I felt an urge to hide her in my arms.

She was carrying a beautiful plate decorated with rose petals and the rings were kept on them.

Vikram Ji picked up the ring caught her hand in his and then slid the ring in her ring finger.

Everyone clapped for them. Then Sandy picked up the ring and slid it in his ring finger. Everyone was clapping and cheering now. Vidhi hugged both of them.

They took the blessings of the elders. I also hugged Sandhya and Vikram Ji. He patted on my back. I smiled when he said Thankyou. Sandhya glared at me, making him laugh. I mouthed a simple sorry but she was still angry.

His friends came to congratulate them. I excused myself and went to see the arrangements and see if everything was ok or not.

I went towards the food stalls for checking if all the food stalls were working properly.

There I saw Vidhi again. I tried to go in the opposite direction to avoid her but my feet were rooted where they were.

I tried to look away but just like my feet, my eyes also refused to take orders from my mind.

She was looking very hot and sexy. Her dress was accentuating her curves. She was gaining the attention of every single guy present there. I was getting irritated with all of them. I wanted to go away before she saw me but my body parts were not on the same page as my mind.

She was taking a glass full of some pomegranate juice from the waiter and she turned all of a sudden and bumped into me and the contents of the glass splashed on my light coloured kurta, leaving a very big round red patch.

" Oh my God !! I am so sorry... How clumsy of me... I ruined your outfit. "

She was so shocked and very embarrassed and kept saying sorry to me.

" It's ok... Please calm down. " I tried to assure her. I just wanted to get away from her as I didn't want any complication. But she was not even listening to what I said.

She took a tissue and tried to clean it.

But just a mere touch of her fingers on my torso was making me crazy. I felt sparks in my whole body.

What was happening??

Just then Vikram's Ji reached there and at the same time, Sandhya must have seen us too so she also came.

" It is ok Vidhi, this is just a stain. I will clean it. " I said and started walking towards the washroom.

" No, I am very clumsy. It is my fault, I should have been more careful. " Vidhi kept saying walking beside me.

Oh god !! Please tell her to leave me alone. I didn't want her to come with me. What if I lose my sanity and I do what I wanted to?

Shit !! Keep her away from me God.

" Hold on both of you, it is just a small thing. Shubh just come with me, I will clean it. " Sandhya said coming towards us.

" No Sandhya, you can't go from here. I can do it myself. Vikram Ji, please take her back. " I said.

" But.. " Sandhya was saying but I cut her sentence short.

" No buts.. just go back to the party. " I said and went towards the washroom. Vidhi followed me saying sorry and that she should help me.

Though I could hear my heart jumping in my chest, I didn't want to be alone with her.

But that sweet but stupid girl was following me to the washroom.

Would she come to the gents' restrooms too ??

Hey, good idea !!! That is the only way to stop her coming after me.

" Listen Vidhi, I can clean it myself please don't bother. It is a simple thing. I will manage it. "

" But I should clean it. "

" You can't come to men's restroom. And I can't go to women's. So I would have to manage it on my own. Please go away. Party is going on. "

" Yeah... I didn't think about that. But I am really sorry. "

" I know... It is perfectly alright. Please don't worry. " she nodded reluctantly and went away.

I took a deep breath. I was not aware that I was holding it for how long.

I went to the restroom and washed away the stain. It got cleaned with a bit of effort as it was still very fresh.

I came back to the party and made a mental note to stay as far away from her as possible.

Vidhi's POV

The engagement party was over and we all came home. I enjoyed a lot.

I was very excited to meet that tall dark handsome man who was not going out of my mind that easily. I don't know, why I felt like that.

I had taken special efforts in getting ready today. I wore a beautiful lehenga and I knew, I looked good as men were ogling at me. But I don't know why Shubh didn't even give me a second look.

Maybe he thinks that I was too clumsy. The first time we met and I fell on top of him and the second time I splashed juice on his outfit.

I wanted to help him but he seemed to be avoiding me. Fine by me...

" Vidhi, get ready fast we all are going for shopping. Vikram, Sandhya will not come to the hospital today. " mom said and I started eating my breakfast.

" Why?? What happened?? " Bhai looked very concerned.

" She is going for the shopping with me and Vidhi. " mom said and he nodded.

" Oh, God !! So you would not be able to meet her... So bad. It would be a very long day Bhai. " I teased him and he glared at me first and then smiled a bit.

He went to the hospital and we got ready and went to her place. We bought many dresses for me and bhabhi.

We also bought some footwear, makeup and a few contemporary jewellery pieces from Mehul bhai's showroom. He was so happy to see mom and bhabhi at his showroom. Mom was also very happy to see his showroom and then had our lunch.

We even saw some traditional wedding lehenga and selected one for her. It was almost evening and we all were very tired... So we came back to her home.

Mom asked aunty, " Padma we are going back to Jodhpur tomorrow so I just wanted Sandhya to have dinner with us today. Is that ok with you? "

" Yes of course Rachana, she is your daughter too. You have every right to do that. "

" So, why don't we take her with us. Vikram will bring her back after dinner. " Mom said.

" As you wish. " Aunty said with a smile.

" Sandhya beta go and get ready. We all will go out for dinner. " Mom said to her and she nodded and went to her room to get ready.

I was feeling awkward sitting with mom and aunty as they were talking about some rituals.

" Aunty, can I go to Bhabhi's room? "

" Yeah of course beta, it's the first room on the first floor," she said and they got engrossed in discussing the arrangements.

I went upstairs. There were two rooms in front of each other. Which one was Bhabhi's?

I knocked on the first door, but there was no response from inside. I thought that maybe bhabhi was in the washroom so I went inside.

There was no one in the room. I went inside and waited for two minutes and then I realised that it didn't look like a girl's room. All the decorations and the colour scheme were telling me that it belonged to a man.

Shit !! I was in the wrong room.
