Ch. 4Chapter 2

Giggling as the tall stranger leads me through a door into this really large and wide balcony.

"Hey mister, I didn't even get to say yes yet...... you have no right dragging me up here without a yes chicken poop." I say with a slight slur to my words, I couldn't even get what I was saying because I was hiccuping so bad.

*I need water.*

The tall stranger, who still hasn't told me his name, backs me into the wall without replying me.

I gasp "Rude." I say with a pout.

*I really need water.*

He begins to lay kisses on my neck and face, but I pay no attention to him, rather to the dark silhouette sitting on a chair at the other end of the balcony. He wasn't paying any attention to us though. He kept looking forward with a blank face. I could only see his side view, since he was putting on a hoodie, he had a blunt in his hand and it was marijuana because it smells like it here.

*He was dressed like a ninja, really.*

*I gasp out loud. Was he one???*

If he was, I really needed to ask him to show me some skills on how to kick ass. Especially asses like this guy who was still holding onto my waist tightly.

*I giggled at the thought of me kicking ass.*

*Ha!!*

When the stranger tried to put his hand into my pants, It finally clicked that this guy isn't actually going to let me go anytime soon, so I started to struggle.

"Get your hands off me." I say shoving him off me.

He doesn't budge, instead he pushes me hard into the wall, making me hit my head and shoulder hard on the wall.I let out a wince and then I really start to panic, I start to hyperventilate and try to set my breathing straight.

"Leave me alone, you jerkface!" I say, using all the strength I had left in me to push him off me.

Just as I was about to hit him on the face, I heard a voice which made me pause my attack.

"Is there a problem here?" It was ninja guy. His deep voice caught me off guard. It was so dark and deep, it made the good chills run up my spine. I felt a huge wave of relief wash over me knowing that someone was here to save me.

My attacker finally budges and gives me a nasty look.

"No, man" he replied before walking off. I don't miss the "bitch" that he mutters before he pushes the door with so much force it closes back with a loud bang.

Crumbling to the floor, I pull my knees to my chest as I shake with so much force due to the amount of anxiety, panic and fear brewing inside of me.

After crying and sniffing for a few minutes, I finally gathered up enough courage and I raised myself up and walked up to the ninja guy.

I didn't know what made me walk up to him, I should've called Bryson or Natasha to come get me but I had this sudden urge to go thank him, even if he didn't have to raise a finger to save me.

Leaning on the railing of the balcony and hugging myself with both arms, I look at him, I still couldn't see his full gave due to the fact that he hasn't turned to look at me but I knew he could feel my stare but his hood was down so I could see his side view and boy did he have a nice jaw.

I watched him take another long drag from the blunt. There was something alluring about it, and I couldn't bring myself to look away.

Normally I'd go against smoking of any sort because of the damages it causes to one's health.

But fuck, this was different. How could someone taking something so terrible go from looking gross to looking so graceful on him.

"Thank you." I said while shivering from the cold breeze.

He doesn't reply neither does he even act like he heard me at all.

I sighed deeply.

He takes another drag from his blunt before he finally acknowledges my presence by turning to face me with a raise of a single perfectly arched eyebrow.

Holy-

His eyes locked onto mine and I completely forgot why I was even thanking him in the first place.

He was gorgeous.

With jet-black hair that was styled into an undercut, that hung by the side of his face, looked so ruffled like he had run his hands through it a lot of times. His undercut went perfectly well with his sharp and well defined jawline and the intense hollow shape of his cheekbones which complemented his full lips and lifeless grey eyes that looked so cold, full of anger and looked so troubled yet......it was so alluring. Either that or the weed he was smoking was making his eyes look sad. And the tattoos I could see running down his wrist and up his neck were beautiful. But I wasn't interested in his tattoos, rather his piercings had me fascinated. He had three in his right ear, with one rode, one in his tongue, one in his left eyebrow and a septum piercing. They looked like they must've hurt. And the way they kept glinting under moonlight, made him look so sinister.

But fuck if he wasn't gorgeous.

I snapped out of whatever trans I was in and shook my head at myself.

Clearing my throat, which felt parched, I replied to his earlier question, well not really a question since he didn't ask but whatever.

"For earlier on...." It came out like a whisper in the cold night.

I'm so so dumb for thinking tonight was going to end well

He doesn't reply though. Just a nod of his head, I guess he didn't talk much.

"Bryson's gonna kill Jackson... Crap." I mutter to myself.

But I still couldn't find it within me to move from where I stood, I liked it here.

Grabbing a bottle of water beside him, he passed it to me and I muttered "thank you." before gulping it down to half the bottle.

*Guess I really needed that water.*

I giggled at myself.

"So what's your name?" I ask, trying to initiate a conversation, even though I knew he wouldn't talk much, I could try.

"Luca." He replied.

I took some seconds to drool over his accent.

He wasn't from around here, that I know, I just couldn't place a pin on it, it was either Sweden or Iceland. My drunk self wasn't smart either.

*Bummer.*

"I'm Iris, but my friends call me Ri." I told him.

I wait a few minutes before talking again.

"Are you from around here?" I asked.

"Norway" He replied shortly.

I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from making any embarrassing sounds. His voice still gave her chills and his Nordic accent added to his appeal.

I haven't seen him around and he looked like he was either a senior or done with highschool.

"Are you new?" I asked curiously.

"No." He answered curtly.

I frowned, he wasn't new then why haven't I seen him around, I mean I haven't stayed here for a long time so I guess I don't really know everyone in this small town.

"So how come I've never seen you around?" I asked again. He turned to look at me blankly before looking at the stars above.

"Juvie." He responded, with a slight shrug of his shoulders.

I turned to look at him, purely interested at this point, not just curious.

"Ahhhhh... So you're one of the infamous bad boys?" I ask, a small smile playing on my lips.

"Of course not," he replied with a straight face. But I swear I could sense the sarcasm in his voice.

I giggled, hiccuping lightly.

"Funny."

We stayed silent for a few minutes until I fished my phone out from my back Pocket.

I checked the time and gasped loudly.

"Crap, Bryson's definitely gonna kill me." I mutter.

Facing Luca, with a small smile, I decided to say goodbye.

We're probably going to see each other at school. Maybe I'll introduce him to Tasha and Jay.

"Alright dude, I gotta go." I say, while doing my signature salute at him.

He also rolled his eyes, giving me a nod with a small smile tugging at his lips.

Ha!

I made him smile.

Why does everyone laugh when I try to salute tho.

I smile lightly, before turning and walking out of the balcony.

Immediately I stepped out I see Tasha running towards me, hair looking wild with lipstick smeared at the side of her lips

"Where have you been?!" She all but screamed at me, gaining the attention of other people in the hallway.

"I was making out with Luke when Jackson blasted my phone with messages saying you were missing and we should find you before Bryson finds out..... You know how Bryson gets, don't you? Then why did you have to run off on your own-" She rambled but I cut her off before she gave me her full lecture. I really like Tasha but sometimes she makes me feel like such a child and it sucks.

I Know how Bryson gets, trust me, she didn't have to tell me, I mean he's my brother. That's why I'm not going to tell any of them what happened earlier on, it's going to be between Luca and I.

Finally replying Tasha,

"Look, Tasha I'm okay, nothing happened to me, I was just on the balcony taking in some fresh air, I was beginning to sweat-" I didn't get to finish my lie before the door to the balcony opened and Luca stepped out.

He didn't even spare us a glance, he just walked towards the other end of the hallway.

Tasha gasps loudly before slapping my arm lightly.

"You go girl!" She hoots loudly.

"I'm so proud of you boo." She says smiling with tears in her eyes like a mother whose baby just said their first words.

"It was nothing like that Tasha, I was actually taking in the scenery and the fresh air." I say while scrunching up my nose.

"Mhmmmhhhm......" She says smirking lightly.

Shaking my head at her silliness.

"Let's go get the others." I tell her grabbing her hands and going downstairs.

We find my brother and Jackson and we leave the party.

Not without feeling a pair of eyes on my back from the balcony area.
