I was shocked on hearing that Valentine had dispatched guards to Arkadia wolf high to search for the lunarike pendant.
What if he had gotten Lucille's piece?
She is smart and could have outsmarted them but what of the other three, he could have laid hands on them and then all my plans will fail.
It seems luck really did follow Valentine, he was able to fool Patricia, that was when all this started, 14 yrs ago.

Flash back.
14 yrs ago.

The atmosphere was noisy and active. The throne room was filled with people here to honour the occasion: advisors, council members, nobles, royals, and top officials in the army. They were all gathered into groups, talking among themselves. Theolonius, the head council member hit his staff on the floor, making everyone go silent as queen Patricia walked in, and sat on her throne with Prince Matthew sitting next to her.

Every attention was focused on her, and several eyes traced her every movement.
"Today we are all gathered to honour king Valentine, who was able to banish the vampires and demons into the void." Queen Patricia said, and a guard sounded a horn, the loud sound reverberating through the room. In succession, the  huge arched door at the other end of the room opened, and Valentine stepped in dressed, flanked by three guards.

He was dressed in an armour, giving him the countenance of a knight. His dirty brown hair, stood out straight, and neatly brushed forward; his pure golden eyes dazzling as ever. He walked towards the throne standing uprightly, his every step reflecting pride. He hid the mischievous smile that formed on his lips as fast as it appeared. Although not fast enough to be unnoticed by Matthew.

Every one was probably seeing him as a brave hero or something, but what they didn't know was that all this had an ulterior motive: a carefully planned agenda. He slowly walked towards the throne, and stopped in getting to it's foot.
"He should kneel." Matthew whispered to Patricia.
"He's the king, my husband, he can't." Patricia retorted, rolling her eyes at her younger brother.
"You own the throne, if not to you, he should pay respect to the throne." Matthew said, and this time, Patricia ignored him.

She stood up gracefully, and stepped down the throne's platform. She faced sideways, and took a golden medal from a vessel a guard held towards her. She lifted it up, and brought it down before placing the medal around Valentine's neck.

"Let the celebration begin." Theolonius said as the Queen sat.
"I don't trust him, you shouldn't." Matthew said.
"Valentine is my husband, of course, I should trust him, father did, and I don't know what's up with you." Patricia said.

"Pardon me but maybe you're both blind to see it, he's just too perfect, and that should arouse anyone's suspicion. I mean, he was with five men. How could he have defeated an entire army of demons?" Matthew asked frantically.
"Maybe he's stronger than you think, I'm so done discussing it." Patricia said, and walked over to Kane, her assistant.

"Today is such a bright and lovely day, isn't it?" Valentine said as he walked over to Matthew. He had an outrageous smirk plastered on his face. Of course he knew Matthew was suspicious of him; it was quite visible.
"Cut the act, everyone might be blind to see it, but I see right through you, you are up to something and I'm going to figure it out." Matthew said, and walked away, leaving Valentine, who leaned on a door, and crossed his legs; his lips curling up into a mischievous smile.

Arkadia wolf high.
"Took me some time to figure out but I noticed a gap between you and Vanessa." Lucille said, standing next to Jace by the food stand at the cafeteria, "heard you cheated on her with her best friend, Amber." She pressed her lips into a tight line.
"I did no such thing, so fuck off." Jace yelled, making everyone in the cafeteria look towards his direction. Noticing the stares, he looked down in embarrassment.
"Calm down, no need to worry about her, there is nothing she is that I am not," Lucille  said, and placed her hand on his shoulder. 
"You can't compare yourself to her, she's everything you're not." Jace said, threw her hands off his shoulder, and walked away.
" We'll see about that," Lucille muttered softly with a mischievous smile.

Palace of Vardasia.

Rafi, the royal priest tapped the end of a syringe's needle, and injected it into Patricia who was on a table laying in coma. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, and Valentine moved closer.
"Yes" He said happily, but it quickly faded away, when she closed her eyes.
"What happened?" Valentine asked, grabbing Rafi by the neck, and lifting him up, causing Rafi to groan in pain, and struggle to breathe.
"I need her more than ever now, I found out that she divided the pendant into four parts," Valentine yelled in rage, " I found one, I need the other three and only she knows where they are, the others are in the void."

"Hmm." Rafi groans, struggling in Valentine's grip.
"Speak," Valentine drops Rafi carelessly to the floor.
"I think it's an improvement, it only means I'm closer to finding a cure to the Eve's portion she used," Rafi struggles for breathe.

They both looked sideways when the door clicks opens, and a guard then steps in
"My king, I have the good news, " he said, panting from running so fast.
"Speak, and it better be," Valentine yelled.
"Eudora knows where all three lunarike pendant pieces will be and when."

Flash back

Matthew sneaked behind Valentine as he whispered something to one of his guards. The guard brings out a grey box, and opens the box in his hands. Matthew gasps in surprise, as he sees the content; the Lunarike pendant.

Valentine quickly picks it, and hides it in his robe.
"What do you think you are doing, I knew it." Matthew said, and comes out of hiding, much to Valentine's surprise.
Swiftly, Valentine withdrew his sword, and charged at Matthew, but Matthew ducked right on time.

"Make sure it's neat." They heard Patricia's voice, and footsteps.
Quickly, Valentine stabbed the guard next to him, and puts the knife in Matthew's hand and held it to his throat. When Patricia, Kane and two guards spotted this, their jaws literarily dropped to the floor; their eyes widening in shock.
" He's trying to kill me," Valentine lied, panting heavily.

Presently

Then, he was able to trick them, and I was banished, only because Patricia didn't want me executed. Unfortunately for Valentine, Theolonius and Kane found out about Valentine's mischievousness, and were able to make Patricia see it. Valentine was banished but three years later, he returned and took over, killing Patricia.

My mind then drifted to the Lunarike pendant. I have to find someway to get to Arkadia wolf high.

Lucille

Arkadia Wolf High

Lucille secretly sneaked behind Jace as he walked to his' and Vanessa's special spot. Thinking about the special spot irritated her. She watched him sit down soberly, and bring out something that shocked her: A piece of the Lunarike pendant.

"He also has one!" Lucille yelled within herself. For the past three days, he had totally rejected her, and now she was beginning to think the there was no way he'll let her in.

If he was going to continue doing that, she could use her mission as an opportunity to exact revenge on him. Tomorrow is a full moon, She would attack Jace then.

"I was in danger and he was busy making out with my best friend," Vanessa said to Hudson, while playing with her fingers.

"Something might have probably occurred, you should listen to his explanation," Hudson said, carefully observing her.

"He didn't offer one, but now he's trying to, so he'll probably make fun of me again," Vanessa retorted bluntly, "I can prove it, connect your thoughts to mine, I'll go thought searching," Vanessa said, and began to search for Jace's thoughts.

"He's so cute, I love this school, I hate the way she behaves." Vanessa scanned through various thoughts, with Hudson hearing anything she heard.
"Tomorrow is the full moon, I'll attack Jace then." Surprised, Vanessa stopped.
"Someone also wants Jace dead, Jace is in danger."
