Night falls, as the wind blows the dripping leaves.
Searching place to rest, I walked under the starry skies.
Drifting away from the darkness, but
I am awake in my own wake.
Touching the space that’s fading away.
Memories falls as nightmare.

As I walked alone in the lonely sea.
My eyes caught a glimpse of you,
taking a step as the shores falls onward…
Without a warning my heart pops like fire.
I felt joy and I curved a smile.

Even the sun comes along.
I ran along with the raging waves.
Ooh, lady don't go... Please don't go.
But my eyes were blurred
I see you fading like shadow.

I gasped hardly as I abruptly got up from lying… I’m having nightmare, again. The same scenario, the same place, and same person. I close my eyes again, remembering the face of the lady I saw in my dream. But no matter how I try to, I can’t recall her face. A woman I love in my dream. Ironic it seems that I fell in love with someone that I don’t even know and I don’t even seen her face. Nah, I don’t remember her face. The only thing I remember is that… I loved her. I’m deeply in love with her. How that happened? I laugh upon that thoughts.

“Jacob… Bro? Why are you still awake?” My co-worker and my best friend Dreeno asked me in wonder.
“I’m having the same nightmare, a beautiful nightmare.” I stated in respond. He laugh and asked me…
“Let me guess that, bro. Your having night-dreams of a beautiful and sexy woman, huh?” he said, while grinning.

“You are having a pervert thoughts…bro!” I yelled at him. But he only laughs at me and he went back to his bed. I decided to sleep again but suddenly my alarm rang, I reach my phone from the drawer beside my bed. I turned it off, a beautiful face appear on my screen. Its Hailyn my first love and my first broken heart. I am about to marry her, but sometimes we need to let go of the people we thought, are for us. But they meant to go and leave you behind.
“You’re still in love with her?” Dreeno asked in a serious tone. I gulped as I look at him.
“I do…” I uttered.

“What a fool! You have a stupid heart!” Dreeno cries at me. I looked down because what he said was true. I am fool, loving someone who doesn’t want me anymore.

“She chose to leave you and marry someone, she’s happy now and you? Look at you? You are still hurting and you still caged in her memories. Let her go, bro choose yourself this time.” Dreeno said while patting my shoulder. I thought he went back to sleep.

“You know what bro? Just sleep again and marry the lady in your nightmare.” He grinned upon saying those words. I poked him hard. But suddenly I felt butterflies roaming around my gut as I think about the lady I have in my dreams.

Did she really exist? And who is she? Or she’s just a beautiful nightmare? My head aches thinking those unanswered questions. I lay down again but I’m having hard time sleeping again. I stared at the wall clock, its 4 am. I close my eyes, hoping to be able to sleep again and meet her. A moment later, I found myself in a deep sleep.

“Hey why are you running away? Don’t go” I chase the woman who is running away from me. Do I look ugly?

“You’re a monster stay away from me!” she said in great fear. She keep on running and running. I need to see her face. I need to see her. My gut is filled with butterflies. So many questions rushes through my brain. Why do I feel this feeling? Why do I feel love when I haven’t seen her face?

“Lady! Don’t fear me!” I yelled in a smooth voice. But she keep on moving.

“No! I don’t want to fall, I wont be a fool.” She cries while holding her long white dress. What does she mean, she don’t want to fall? Why she’s running from me?

I ran faster, and reach for her arm. I need to see her, I need to satisfy my heart. I long to see her face. As I reach for her, I immediately turn her around, and slowly I hold her waist.

“No you evil!” she cries. I didn’t blink a bit. I don’t want to miss every second seeing her face. My heart beats like a drum… I can even heard it. She turn around and the wind blows her long wavy hair. And in a slow motion, I can barely see her… its blurred. I saw a lovely eyes but her full face is concealed by a shadow. She pushed me away and ran again, she seem loathing me… but why? Why she look angry seeing my face?

“Lady! Don’t go!” I cried in despair. I feel pain as I see her fading away.

“Jacob! Bro! Wake up!” I abruptly got up from my bed as someone is poked me. Damn it I didn’t got the chance to make her stay. I opened my eyes and I saw the face of my friend, he looks so damn worried.

“What happened? Did something bad happened in your dream? You’re shouting and begging someone to stay.” Dreeno stated in obvious fear.

“The lady in my dream, she hated me… and I don’t know why?” I answered him while covering my face with my hands.

“Ooh that’s drastic! Maybe she knew that you're a play boy bro!” he stated while grinning. I badly looked at him but he didn’t mind it… instead he just laugh and he walked away. I got up from bed, bringing the thoughts of the lady in my dream. Why did she call me evil?

“Damn its just a dream!” I stated.
