myBard.com (currently in development) will provide unique content management services to the masses, enabling anyone with a Web browser to manage their own Web sites via a unique content delivery system (Tempest). Built on XML and XSL technologies in C#, Tempest is the 4th generation of automated content management systems designed by Scott Waletzko, and will provide site owners unequaled access to the creation of dynamic site content without the need of custom programming.
Features:
Apply a design template from a complete set of professionally-design templates to your site at the click of a button.
Manage dynamic content features on your site; includes Web logs (Blogs) and content specific to the speciality of your organization (foster dog lists, discographies, game schedules, etc).
Design your own site template, or have one custom designed for you.
All site content is automatically generated in RSS as well as HTML.
The Tempest Content Management system, developed in C#, utilizes XML and XSL technologies to provide extensible functionality through the use of style sheets and XSL templates. All content is developed in XSL and applied to XML site content by the Tempest engine. The result is xHTML content delivered to site visitor's Web browsers in real time. XML content is created through the further use of XML style sheets, enabling dynamic site content that can read from or update dynamic database content, all generated via templates or macros through an intuitive end user interface.
Tempest is currently under development, and will be available for the launch of myBard.com in the fall of 2006. In the meantime, all of the Echosoft Design Studios Web sites are hosted in the Alpha version of the Tempest engine, (written in VB .NET).
